Robut tool with great visualization options
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau server is a great enterprise solution for sharing reports and dashboards across the organization with self service capability
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the basic tabular views which sometimes are very useful for analyzing the details need to be enhanced
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building multiple Tableau dashboards and reports around operational metrics to capture daily, weekly and monthly performance trends

What do you like best about the product?
its ease of use, integration of data, easy to make charts and someone doesnt need to be technical to use it

I would chose power bi over tableau just because power bi is easier to use than tableau. Nothing to dislike about it

Instaling the software was a tough one for me

make sure you have java installed in your laptop and take a course or two before you dig in

What do you like best about the product?
It has amazing dashboards. It’s easy to connect to your databases( sql server, excel.. etc) it’s very user friendly. You can start making useful reports from the first day.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has direct query but while using t-sql you can’t use temporary tables

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is very easy to use and options to connect to different data sources. It also provides options to publicly distribute the dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau has a very high pricing when compared to Power BI Desktop version which is open source. Tableau desktop version is available for only a 15-day free trial which makes it difficult for consultants who want to learn how to use Tableau.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Tableau Desktop to build a dashboard for the Leadership team. The dashboard provided the leadership team with a high level view of the yearly KPI's. The ability to drill down from Country down to a district level made it even better to use.

I like the interface of the app and the user friendliness

I do not like that my logged information is sometimes not saved.

I am figuring out how to run reports which has become a major help when trying to figure out what students I need to contact.

I recommend that you become familiar with the raw software and then see how you can customize it.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
I love the layout of the website. Everything has a tab for certain things and very easy to understand and use. It is also very pleasing to the eye
What do you dislike about the product?
Managers can change the layout of the website and it is problematic since you are custom to one set up and then the next is different. But they can always change it back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far no problems, and the benefits are very organized, it is like twitter on the web. Some of the benefits are the tabs on each section.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is good to keep organization like for a job that deals with a lot of students or work load and want to organized it by lists. Also, if you want a layout that is pleasing to the eye then this is the product for you.
Great Data Visualization Software
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is one of my favourite tools when it comes to the transformation of numbers to actually meaningful analysis. The biggest pro of tableau is that it provides users to greatly improve reports. It is easy to automate reports and make them more professional looking. The charts and graphs look genuinely beautiful yet professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback of Tableau is that some operations are very complex to execute. As Tableau is a software to make reports more informative and easy to understand, it lacks the functionality to do simple tasks such as joining tables and general processing of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reports are much more informative than before. Visuals are outstanding, exactly what higher management wants. I have saved a huge amount of time and energy with Tableau.

Really great application, definitely worth a try.
Extremely intuitive and works well when Excel fails
What do you like best about the product?
Have been working on this tool since the last ~18 months I have joined ISB for Analytics course. This is a great tool to learn specifically to slice-and-dice data to perform Exploratory Data Analysis and understand different nuances of data. This works really well and the best feature you can add up to 6 dimensions of data on the same graph and still make it easy and intuitive to understand. Dashboards and story feature really are a differentiator and helps you to create powerful presentations which sometimes is a big differentiator. Also, the fact that it can data much bigger than what Excel can take to process and conduct analysis differentiates it. Haven't use Power BI, hence can't compare but this tool does its job pretty well. It doesn't have a steep learning curve as well as you'd find abundant videos on YouTube and dozen other educational resources if you want to create a particular analysis on it, hence overall love the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular to be honest, for my usage it has served the purpose. Haven't used it as a cloud solution so can't really comment about that aspect of usage as well in comparison to competitor product such as Power BI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perform EDA on Data and create powerful visualizations. It really works in that aspect and works handy in creating dashboards and stories which are a key differentiator in explaining difficult concepts easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For high volume data, this tool is very intuitive and would save your Business Analysts a lot of time and can help you optimize a lot of tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I use salesforce to upload leads, send emails and track emails, and so much more. Salesforce is organized, easy to navigate, and is used by almost everyone on our team!
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems that Salesforce Lightning is taking a while to migrate certain uses from the Classic page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving organization problems, storage, emailing and more!

Salesforce is great if you want a service to organize all of your leads, contacts, accounts, campaigns, documents and so much more! It really is a one-stop shop.
