Tableau user experience
What do you like best about the product?
The dynamic nature of the visualizations. The parameters and pages especially are my favorites

The maps in tableau can still be improved.

I create lot of maps of Massachusetts and ic graphs like trends with reference lines, bubble graphs, infographics with help of adobe cc
Great potential - difficult to get there
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau can handle large amounts of data, which is very helpful in analytics. It can also be personalized to make charts, graphs, analysis of specific requests - so it essentially becomes a personalized dashboard for your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to revise existing worksheets, instead having to replicate them as new versions. It also has some delays in updating data, meaning the hard work put into designing the sheets won't pay off if the data is outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving problems of inventory tracking, predicting sales and consumer trends. It has been helpful in predicting user behavior based on past actions and purchases.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have someone skilled in data management and analysis, this product would be great for you. Just make sure you are willing to commit the time building the sheets and maintaining data - so your results are up to date.

What do you like best about the product?
I like all the options for filtering through reports to find what I am looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find there are quite a few bugs when it comes to allowing me to change the stage the opportunity is in and it makes me reload the page a few times before it actually saves.

It keeps things very organized!
Easy to use Data Visualization software for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is an excellent Data Visualization software which does not requires much training. Anyone can use it with ease, just drag and drop functions to creat bar graphs, pie charts, trend lines etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data sets must be prepared in a certain way before it can be used by Tableau as it can not usually work with 2 or 3 dimensional data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working in an Operational Excellence team and I use Tableau for reporting KPIs in project management activities.
Underwhelming experience
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how user friendly the software is, anyone can use sales force in an efficient manner in a matter of minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many glitches, from scrolling to autofilling- despite multiple fixes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m able to see who and what my employees are servicing and at what rates. This helps me see the number of services I can expect to be done each fiscal year.
A tool for visualizing and analyzing your data.
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau offers incredible data visualization tools and the ability to parse massive data-sets in a very limited time. Its support for natural language query is invaluable. It helps people of all skill levels quickly discover actionable insights because they don't have to learn any particular language to get on-board with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau lacks some statistical functions. While taking the data from multiple sources, it hangs sometimes which sometimes crashes the whole system. It has no support embedded SQL. It is also very expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau desktop builds charts and graphics that are easy for even non analytical people to understand. It creates really good dashboards. Selecting the fields and metrics is quite easy. We can create the formulas for presenting any variable.

Everything is under its own tab, it helps us keep track oh things and take care of our customers better

There are a lot of steps for every single process. It can get frustrating with all the tabs left open.

We solved our follow up issue. We found that we were not following up correctly.

Great Data Manipulation Software
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to upload data from several different formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve, and some symbols are intuitive

Its easy to compile data from excel and create a variety of different dashboards
Versatile and professional data viz software
What do you like best about the product?
At its most basic level, it's easy to create and customize professional data visualizations. Tableau is also capable of more advanced and customized visualizations, but this takes more research and troubleshooting. Either way, the visualizations are polished and sophisticated, going far beyond what Excel, R, and other programs are capable of.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downsize is that it's expensive. Additionally, while the software is capable of many different types of visualizations, sometimes it takes lots of Googling to get your visualization to appear as you'd like, either because the tweak requires lots of troubleshooting, or the feature doesn't exist so you have to find a loophole. The online Tableau community forums are helpful for this.

Creating data visualizations in Tableau has been crucial for storytelling and putting a quantitative punch behind messaging.

Best Dashboard Software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy UI that can be used in any industry. Being able to combine that with Prep for data pre processing is very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are limited in terms of using Python to do automation, which is really bothersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to visualize trends so easy is one of the biggest problems I am solving.
