Super Easy to Report Data
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to show data in a variety of different ways - from graphs to charts - so that everyone can understand. It is pretty easy to teach as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how in different windows, it is hard to have multiple charts to more easily compare the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The big problem Tableau is solving is the issue with excel. When you have a lot of data in excel, excel is not always as efficient or will crash. Tableau helps because you can link the data to excel and make charts without the application crashing.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to love data and how easy it was to create graphs and visualizations using tableau. It made cleaning data much easier for me and reconciliate in data from multiple sources,
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve was very deep and I wish there were more training materials available
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was trying to sort through a lot of data and it was from 20 different sources. I was trying to gain insight on what the data was telling me but had a hard time doing it in excel because the data set was too large. It was great for crushing and cleaning up data
Awesome visual experience for viewing data
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboards are interactive and easy to use. I have no problem sharing data with colleagues and the response time of the system is fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a lot if you're implementing it at your company for the very first time. It can also be difficult to create a dashboard with out an understanding of sql and sqal.

Although it is good at what it does, it is complicated and can be complex to implement. If you are looking for something simple, this is not the best choice.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Tableau is it's drag and drop feature which enables the user to quickly create reports and visualization and further breakdown data in case you want to deep dive and find insights useful for business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the latest versions come with bugs which gets fixed in the latest release. However, the latest release itself comes up with new bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helpful specially to find data anomalies and business insights which if done with Excel or any other visualization software, might take a lot of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tableau although is costly compared to other tools available in the market but once you get addicted to using it, you won't find any other tool that matches Tableau
Best Dashboards for Reporting and Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Navigation, tracking, reporting, workstreams, and dashboards are very user intuitive and there is a lot of flexibility for customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Product works well with Microsoft Explorer but I'm unable to run it on Microsoft Edge web browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Different types of Technology Remediation Execution (TREX) Reporting is being streamlined within the bank. Tableau is working to transition into more BAU and automation pocesses.

Tableau is a great product for streaming ad-hoc Reporting throughout various lines of businesses within an enterprise.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau's ability to interpret large, complex data and make sense of it visually. It has a fantastic workflow to display interactive tools and communicate complex ideas elegantly to a layman person

A little proprietary in terms of program language and requires some data science knowledge.I believe it is fantastic and if customers did not have a barrier of learning yet another interface lingo, there would be a larger acquisition scale.

Major datasets dealing with socioeconomic issues on a regional scale tackling issues on health, income, budget, real estate opportunities, and others.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Sales Analytics which allows me to see the rate of profits, the latest profits, and the average amount of offers I make from the sales obtained in an organized table of my company which offers marketing and advertising services.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only feature that would improve this platform is its mobile function because it is a little difficult to manage is more welcoming the desktop function

Salesforce Sales Analytic has allowed us to integrate our sales files in the cloud, upload and download sales data directly from our company's server, and configure the platform so that the data displayed has all the management indicators we need to make decisions, in terms of costs and profits of projects in the area of marketing and advertising, in organized tables.

I recommend this platform to companies and individuals who provide a service or sell a product or goods to organize in numbers the sales made by such companies and individuals.
Easy way to visualize data
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many options to help you visualize and make a point in a meeting! Our was struggling on ways to visualize our graphs other then using excel. Tableau helped us to be more creative.

There's a bit of a learning curve. The way its set up is comparable to sap bi.
