New and sleek tool to visualise data
What do you like best about the product?
The 14 day trial and the student options when one need them
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep price, but unlike other software options at least there is something for you for the money, if you make money with tableau at least it shows nice graphs and visualizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using it for my MSc thesis to check the visualisation options developed in my own python code.
Efficient Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Basic graphics made with an easy drag and drop interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not super user friendly when data “pills” need to be modified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data visualizations, allows me to sync and update a dashboard automatically which I enjoy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Expensive but great opportunity provided.
Tableau is incredibly useful for data & business analytics!
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to visualize all of the data based on customers, sales, costs, etc. It really helps us figure out what is working best and/or what needs to change.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems a tad difficult to get specific graphs for specific data, but once you figure it out it's fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are taking all of our internal data and improving our marketing techniques by figuring out what is working best for us.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of adding multiple data sets. The "pill format" and the relatively quick computing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to move around multiple worksheets at a time (in a dashboard). Can't copy and paste worksheets in a dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Summarizing schedule data in a visual way. Can create gantt charts in tableau.

Find a tutorial online to learn the basics.
Very simple system to utilize

Everything is in one place from the time the event is booked - all transactions, meeting requirements, phone calls, and finally, the BEO and banquet check.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any downsides currently that I could note.

The system solves the issue of having to use multiple systems to book, plan, and execute events.

I dislike to see people who do not know this software and say negative things when it really is a good work tool

The types of inflexible graphics. They are of better quality and I can rest assured knowing that your data and analysis are accurate and governed and protected.

I can attest that this software programmer is really very good

We have tons of data that we can never seem to capture but with tableau you have all of that and more quickly available at your finhertips.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to figure out what information to pull abd sort by to get the answers you're looking for but even then sometimes in those reports you find new gems that everyone can use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trending deficiencies. Now we can trend data and isolate problems on a much larger scale. Not just but site or region but enterprise wide.

This is a great tool for mining data that is entered into you systems especially when you enter a lot of it routinely.
Great Visualization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I believe the visualization graphics the salesforce offers is outstanding. This allows me to clearly present the key focus areas of my business to our customers
What do you dislike about the product?
At times I find the drill down capabilities are not as flexible as I want them to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tools allows me to develop impactful presentations.
Needs a better mobile option.
What do you like best about the product?
Robust option for data and number analytics. Easy to use and "drill down" layers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile. They need a better mobile option thats more conducive to people who travel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple people are now able to access our data in cloud and be able to drill down to micro levels.
