Great tool for managing project/client information. Easy to use once properly customised.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to search/sort existing accounts/projects, but with a nice birds' eye view across your wider business with a lot of data conveniently visualised.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with most business tools, interface could be a little nicer. Not sure how much of that is due to sloppy customisation, and recent updates have made it more pleasant to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helped us get a better overview of outstanding issues and potential further sales. Additionally, it saves time to have everything available in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep in mind the up front cost of customisation can be substantial.
Analytics Cloud is great as a BI visualisation tool for specific SF data
What do you like best about the product?
Compared to other BI tools, this tool is more specified to the data that Salesforce holds. In this way it is much easier to actually get value out of the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not as advanced as other visualisation tools (Tableau etc)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting more insights in current sales figures.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you first check whether the SF Analytics Cloud meets your expectations for getting specific analytics on your (sales) data. If this is not the case, you would be better off with for example a Tableau. If this is the case, this is a cheaper alternative.

It is intuitive and easy to build a dashboard on top of your data

Very useful to track business operations. Data suppliers always updated and super handful when working with collegues at work. Perfect so evaualte how your team is performing

It is not really friendly user. A bit old look and feel. Needs restyling

What do you like best about the product?
The vividness and simplicity of the program. The graphics and photos in a circle. And the blue background, I think, is a complete success.

There is really nothing I don't like, I can't say anything negative about the program/app.

It is helping me make a large number of correct decisions that help me earn a lot of money.

Tableau has a great data engine that makes combining multiple data sources easy and fast.

The Tableau licensing cores can be expensive

We use it as our primary data analytics tool and make all reporting easier
I largely use Salesforce to catalogue and explore marketing proposals and ideas.
What do you like best about the product?
It's organized neatly and the way it links out to Box is helpful for storing decks and other files with their respective projects. As a member of the sales team, the marketing team can work independently and place ideas and proposals in Salesforce (which could then be tracked with analytics). We can then go in and see what's available (or what's being pitched to other clients) in order to know what's pitchable to our own clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit overwhelming at times, and the way everything pops out when you click on it slows down my computer from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we need to consider which marketing options we have for various shows, it's a one-stop-shop for all ideas and decks, as well as showing who these ideas have been pitched to. It's nice to be able to see who created everything and who's modified it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take some time exploring the home page and all of the options. There are lots of pages within pages that can get lost, so once you have a lay of the land it can be easier to find exactly what you're looking for.

The ease of use and easy import makes tableau desktop effective

Tableau falls short on the business intelligence capabilities and versioning

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very comprehensive client, order, and file management software, better than the old ones, simpler and more intuitive, allowing for the management of different divisions indistinctly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the main flaws I find with this software is that it does not fully synchronize correctly with previous customer management software like CRM or Investcold, and sometimes it causes delays in work and issues with orders and files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, there was no way to record in the same order or file the management of another member from a different division. For example, the shopping mall division can now document the claim or resolution of a file regarding an online order.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good tool for managing orders, files, and claims on a large scale and has almost instant synchronization.
My favorite BI tool!!
What do you like best about the product?
EVERYTHING: Easy setup, customization is doable, embedding BI graphics, crosstabs, etc is easy. Ability to blend data from multiple sources while report building makes things fast and easy!!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. After using Qlik and Yellowfin, Tableau is still my most favorite BI tool ever!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated Cogen, Pulp/Paper mill KPIs with SQL and Excel as data-sources: Steam rates, MW/hr rates, water and chemical utilization over 24 hour cycles.
