Multiple Reports
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can customize reports and have them emailed to me when they're ready. Info stores online so it doesn't take up a lot of space.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems super slow sometimes when there is a lot of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to see mass amounts of information in different formats.
Learning Curve, but Powerful
What do you like best about the product?
I like that tableau can create amazing visuals for marketing data that I pull out of Marketo or Hubspot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it can be difficult to use at first. It definitely has a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating Marketing data visuals to show our executive team.

I teach this tool to students in their first semester of business analytics. It is so easy for them to understand the power of visualizations in data analytics.

It is not easy to write sql codes inside the tableau.

Great way to organize your sales prospects

The ability of SF to sync with so many other programs- Pardot, Outlook, Gmail email, etc.

Not the easiest user interface- can be complicated to use

Many! Managing journeys for all sales prospects, emailing our members and leads, etc.

Makes your life easier, but you'll probably need an IT team to properly implement it for your company.
One of the best data analysis softwares
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of external integrations you can connect and the way you can merge, mix and cross multisources of data is phenomenal. Also you can export the data into different formats and use them with other softwares to complement and increase the power of Tableau

The graphical output could be improved in terms of visual information. Sometimes the graphical options and the user experience, you have for representing complex data are not the optimal for your requirements
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Tableau as the main analytical tool for reporting and creating insights by connecting our internal database, google analytics, and other third party sources

Tableau is undoubtely a very good option for data analysis. The learning curve can be hard at the begining but after the juice you can extract is valuable for decisions based on data

Not easiest to just figure out on own.

Mainly using for client reporting to demonstrate performance of digital advertising campaigns, as well as insights for internal use to optimize the campaigns. It is very good and helpful for dealing with a large quantity of data and visualizing it for ease of interpretation.
Tableau Server is fantastic

The ability of people in a variety of roles to access reports and interact directly with the data.

ability for developers to edit via tableau server is still limited, though great improvement over last couple of updates.

automated updating of reporting and ability of viewers to filter data multitude of different ways.

Tableaux is simple to use, has a great user interface, and is great for visualizing many different kinds of data

It can be slow to load pages and the data filter settings are clunky.

Perhaps one of the best data visualization software on the market, gives you the ability to perform data visualization in an intuitive manner. Software support is excellent, customer service is amazing. Community of users is very large and engaged, helping other users with any and all questions

It comes with a learning curve and requires a bit more advanced IT skills, especially if you have minimal IT experience.

Solution that gave us the the ability to create powerful data visualization, easier learning because of the user community and Tableau support
