What do you like best about the product?
Enterprise edition allow a quick deployment thanks to templates provided.
Catalog of connectors.
Dashboard module is efficient and user friendly.
Connexion with other market solutions to get or provide data is quite simple.
Support team is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting module needs to be modernize, its GUI is old fashioned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First by getting IT metrics ans status about components of our Information System and provide an efficient way of alerting or display information.
Second by aggregating data and modelize Business Activities Models.

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity of host and service configuration thanks to the plugin and auto-discovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes features that no longer work during minor or major updates. But fortunately restored in subsequent patches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anomaly detection and notification.
Metric production.
Business, application supervision. SLA control. And production of application and infrastructure availability reports.

Pas de connexion native à l'AD
Pas de coffre fort pour stocker les mots de passe (ils sont en clair dans les scripts)
Un déploiement de tous les modules (Map, Ban, poller, central, ...) assez compliqué
Une procédure de montée de version pas claire
Un support peu réactif et assez faible en analyse

What do you like best about the product?
Centreon is extreamly flexible and works with everything we throw at it. Service and support is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
For now, we haven't had any issues with the product. Sometimes templates are not available but it's very rare and only for obscure products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
Accurately monitor devices when it goes up or down. The alert system is remarkable not only via GUI but also send an email to the respective team and management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost to purchase license for support. If they can only lower the cost to compete with the best monitoring toll in the market. I believe that most of the company will move in using Centreon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems that it solves is the accurate and timeliness of the alerting. It minimizes the downtime and impact to the network and servers and the business performance increased.

What do you like best about the product?
You can monitor lots of services from servers (windows and linux), network devices, storage and backup devices or any other device that has an IP
What do you dislike about the product?
Standard template is not that helpful, mostly just guide on the format of the script.

For custom application/infra monitoring it's hard to see plugins that are agentless
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Custom monitoring. Because it's open based, we are allowed to tweak things around and integrate the plugins or the scripts to monitor application or any services that deviates from the standard monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
Centreon is a very good monitoring tool. It covers all infrastructure-related issues and now also covers new cloud technologies like AIOps. It supports cloud augmented architecture and has excellent support services. The support team used to resolve issues within a defined SLA.
What do you dislike about the product?
The license of the tool is costly and higher than its competitive tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Centreon for 3 years and just switched to IMP. This tool is monitoring our worldwide infrastructure including our cloud environment. It gave us the opportunity to deploy new services with plugin packs. Since we integrate Centreon we had a better view of our infrastructure and a better response time. It's a good tool to be proactive and to know quickly the issues we have in our infrastructure. "
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Centreon is a good option for those who are familiar with the concepts of Nagios. Centreon puts a more usable interface in front of hosts and services and adds usability features, like templates and dashboards

What do you like best about the product?
In centreon will can monitor our network and store client details. We can he possibility to monitor service with different angles: service on the machine/port/result of a request (example HTTP). and We can easily make changes on a single dashboard with minimum time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not yet.....all features are working properly. Need to improve GUI interface more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improve customer relations/service, and live network device monitoring, create internal/operational efficiencies, centreon gives great scalability for network monitoring and make our network is reliable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are in a Networking Industry then go for it. It will fulfil all your needs surely. Highly recommended for large network monitoring.

What do you like best about the product?
This tool is widely used in every IT and Network industries to monitor their networks.In every ISP company they used this tool to monitor their network devices like switches,routers.This tool contains database like customer name & ip details. centreon helps to get real up & down time.when any device goes down they showing in red colour and after getting device up showing in green colour.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes centreon get delays to show up or down indication of devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using centreon monitoring becomes easy.we are able to check up and down time of our devices.

What do you like best about the product?
I am been working in IT industry since 2 years. We are using Centreon 2.4.1 as a monitoring tool to monitor our last mile devices such as Routers,Switches,Mikrotik and our clients.By using this software we get live Up and down time status of our servers and devices in monitoring session.It is very helpful tool for network and IT industries.The performance of centreon is good and configuration is also very easy.While monitoring we get to know exact downtime and date of our devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not to dislike about this tool but sometime it gets hang.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to do live monitoring of our lease line customers with multiple locations.are able to do live monitoring of our lease line.
