What do you like best about the product?
The UI is clean and easy to navigate, even for non-technical users. You can monitor large-scale environments with minimal friction
What do you dislike about the product?
While installation is relatively easy, populating the system with meaningful objects (hosts, services) can be time-consuming without automation tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pre-configured templates and a dedicated data warehouse make KPI reporting straightforward.

What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about Centreon is how it gives me one clear view of everything in the infrastructure without having to juggle multiple tools. The dashboards are easy to tailor, so I can quickly see what actually matters. Plus, the huge range of connectors makes it simple to plug in different systems, and the distributed setup scales well as the environment grows. It just makes monitoring feel a lot more organized and under control.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the hardest part with Centreon is the setup and upgrades—they can be a bit technical and time-consuming if you don’t already have experience. Some parts of the interface also feel a little old-school compared to newer tools. Once it’s running it works really well, but getting there takes some effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centreon gives us a single place to keep an eye on everything—servers, networks, and apps—so we don’t waste time jumping between different tools. It helps us catch problems earlier, cut downtime, and overall makes the team’s job a lot easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Centreon is a great monitoring solution, with multiple ways to monitor endpoints. It is easy to use and implement and has a lot of integrations by default.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some plugins don't work like expected, and therefor i'm unable to monitor some devices i would like to monitor.

What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I don't have many negatives to think about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before implementing Centreon, our infrastructure had no centralized monitoring solution. We were relying on manual checks, reactive troubleshooting, and fragmented logs — which made identifying and resolving issues both time-consuming and inefficient.

We selected Centreon after a thorough evaluation, and it quickly proved to be the missing piece in our operations. It provided immediate visibility into the health of our on-prem infrastructure — including servers, network devices, storage systems, and critical services.

What convinced us was Centreon’s ability to deploy rapidly, integrate easily with SNMP and custom plugins, and deliver real-time, actionable dashboards. It gave our team a clear view of the entire estate, significantly reducing blind spots and alerting us to issues before they impacted users.

With no monitoring previously in place, Centreon brought structure and confidence to our IT operations. Its intuitive interface, powerful alerting system, and extensive customization options allowed us to adapt the platform to our exact needs. The team quickly adopted it and praised how easy it was to use and extend.

Today, Centreon is the foundation of our monitoring strategy, and it’s hard to imagine operating without it. We highly recommend it to any organization looking to establish a robust monitoring framework — especially if starting from scratch. It’s a true enabler for operational maturity and proactive incident response.
