Centreon Monitoring tool

What do you like best about the product?
Our primary purpose for Centreon is monitoring. We use it to view the status of all our pollers, manage them, and configure them. We manage around 30 Centreon pollers.Our team is operating multiple security services (digital signatures, 2FA, secure storage, etc.). We are taking care of everything (hardware, network, hypervisors, VMs, OS, applications, security patches, backup, etc.). Centreon is used to monitor the health of each component and alert us in case of failure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Providing trending of network data over time.Supporting algorithms designed to predict future network statistics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its use for our host monitoring and data maintain.

Nice tool help to monitor IP and customer data

What do you like best about the product?
Use to check whether the Access layer devices are up or down, no need to check it physically by command line.Can check the Up/downtime of device by Live monitoring. Able to check the detail information about particular server. separate section which shows how many devices are currently working. can search with name and ip address. its user friendly easy way to learn. single dashboard no need to open multiple windows for every single device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it shows up when the devices are actually down. disabling the monitoring for specific server while using different system is quiet difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring access and distribution layer devices Status whether its working or not. checking the last login of specific devices. checking the Status information section with the ping, packet loss and RTA of that device.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best Monitoring tool for your infrastructure network. Better way to drive performance.

What do you like best about the product?
Centreon is a best tool for monitoring the dedicated leaseline customer's links.This is a best tool in todays IT sector. We can see live monitoring in this software so that so that we can demand full visibility and and sophisticated metrics across the board.We can also see live monitoring whichever cust goes down we can troble shoot the link of customer from our end too
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets very hang and the tool takes to much time to get refreshed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using this tool if any customers link goes down we call them from our side.Use it till the best it will definitely help you in all your needs........

very reliable monitoring tool

What do you like best about the product?
our organisation have been using centreon for more than 7 years and we are using it to monitor dedicated leased line links of our clients and our ip devices, and the performance of this tool is quite satisfying. as it properly and immediately reflects which link or device has gone down and helps you take further actions accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
there are not many things to dislike i this software but surely the user interface can be made a bit more friendly also the responsiveness or the triggering system should be improved as it does not reflects the issue sometimes, rest the software is perfect and reliable
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
our whole monitoring department depends on this particular software. and and we we able to inform to our clients from our side if any issue pops up, which provides ample amount of time to solve the issue and helps run the process smoothly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if you don't have more than 5,000 entities to monitor, then this is a perfect software

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is pretty clean, it functions, but only to a point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Buggy, some important features don't work, like currently unable to put devices into maintenance mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wouldn't say we're at that point with the software yet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared for a pretty long and arduous implementation, setup isn't exactly a cakewalk.
