What do you like best about the product?
I liked the polls that were used to gauge how we used monitoring tools and allowed us to provide direct feedback
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the presentations were great but oftentimes, other data that wasn't being shared on camera was being discussed, so it got difficult to follow along
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BigPanda allows us to quickly and easily monitor alerts from a number of different tools so that we can quickly identify end-user problems and address them

What do you like best about the product?
We are able to send all of our alerts to BigPanda in order to perform event correlation before any initial triage is performed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Waiting for unified analytics, but it will be launching soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall event correlation helps save time when seconds count.

BigPanda serves as an unified platform for our alerts from multiple software systems. BigPanda support is great!

I haven't found anything I dislike so far.

BigPanda helps us monitor our devices and networks. It serves as an united platform for our alerts from multiple software systems. It makes system management a lot easier.

Do a POC to confirm value to your business.

What do you like best about the product?
The support team is amazing. The overall BigPanda team has helped our team with some strange things, but also without getting upset or putting us on a backburner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything so far. There are a few quirks with the environment, but I believe that's to be expected considering the variations and configuration with different organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring devices and networks. Correlating things in an automated fashion will make things a lot easier to manage overall. It removes some of the need for human interaction.

adding nodes can be a bit complicated, and not easy to use.

Well there are several things that I dislike, bees for example.

What do you like best about the product?
Have been using big panda for sometime, it is highly customizable and has helped in reducing alert noise, to a great extent. Interface is easier, environment creation is easy. Correlation has really helped administrators and team members to work only on actionable alerts. it is easy to identify flapping alerts and new change management integration helps in identifying alerts which are recurring over a small period of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately tags and environment misconfiguration are not easily distinguishable during implementation and we get to know if they didn't work as intended, after some time. Need early detection. And best practices from big panda. Slack integrations do not have bidirectional communication, which makes it difficult to integrate with slack. Some customizations are missing, like having an incident number to the alert, reporting based on same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
email based integrations, which can generate several thousand alerts per month, ended up creating 1000 alerts, which got correlated further and ended up as few 100 actionable incidents in bigpanda. something which was impossible to monitor with a small team, became easy to monitor. It is acting as a dashboard, no need to login to multiple tools, it save lot of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is easier to configure, it can solve complex alert management. However you should always consult vendor for best practice regarding implementation, as it can really help.
