What do you like best about the product?
Very effective when systems are unavailable
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to manage alerts when flood of alerts

BigPanda has helped my organization find immediately systems outages, disks full or presenting problems, slowness and more.

Big Panda helps with programatic event correlation and auto sharing to our ticketing platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Big Panda's GUI makes interacting with the console easy. Correlation Patterns have preview features that allow you to see what your change would do before making it live.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the GUI makes it easy to make changes, the logic that goes into how things like event correlation and tag ordering work becomes an increasingly steep learning curve. Additionally some features are not exposed to customer modification and require a CSM to make changes within the Big Panda system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Big Panda provides us a "single pane of glass" through which to view our alerts. It allows us to correlate alerts across multiple sources and automate ticketing into our ticketing platform.

User friendly while using correlation

What do you like best about the product?
The application for the most part on the surface extremely user-friendly. The analytics displayed are layed out in a way that could be shown to any executive and they should be able to clearly understand what the infographic means.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a little let down by the machine learning aspect of the Big Panda. The correlations we're getting appear to just be a large pivot table labeled out line by line. The system just appears to be taking the most common entities and listing them i'm not seeing where the learning is coming in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Big Panda is providing a singular point to funnel our alarm data for tracking incidents in a timely manner from a multitude of different integration sources into ours or our client's ticketing instances.

Big Panda takes observability and event management to a whole new level

What do you like best about the product?
It gives a holistic picture of the complete infrastructure. A well designed implementation will bring up the standard of observability and understanding of the IT infrastructure to a new level.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementaion details play a vital and to some extent a desiding role while unlocking Big panda value addition. There is a need for more guidence on standards to be follewed in the complete observability space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides the means to linking upstream events with more observable incidents. It has imence potential in quick diagnosis and surgical incident handling capability.

What do you like best about the product?
I work on the ServiceNow side of things more than BigPanda side, but do work with it that way. I like how configurable BigPanda is on the ServiceNow side; with easy access to all the components you can modify them fairly easily. They also have a fairly robust API.

Their support team is also very helpful; we were able to get hands-on help the next day after having a non-critical incident.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike. I would just point out that ServiceNow is capable of doing most, if not all, of what BigPanda does, so it's redundant to pay for both apps. BigPanda is easier to configure than ServiceNow, but the latter also gives you control over finer details and more options. It really comes down to how custom you need things to be; if you're keeping things simple go with BigPanda, if you need complex workflows off of incidents then go with ServiceNow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's essentially a monitoring tool that creates incidents for users to track, and in that regard it's pretty good. It's relatively simple to use as far as I can tell.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the support the best because I got to work with the same representative multiple times. I also like the Incident's interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
One factor that I wish BigPanda could have done better is to spend longer time during the support. Going off tangent, I think the tags and alert enrichment could be more straightforward and simpler
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BigPanda is a big help with combining all the alerts into one interface. It helps my team to quickly respond to possible issues, which usually ends up in a quicker time to mitigate.

What do you like best about the product?
Nice UI. Event correlation seems to work well.

Would like to see improvements to the dashboards.

Event correlation between a variety of alerting/monitoring sources, making RCA easier to track across platforms/environments.

What do you like best about the product?
The alert correlation assists our support teams to be able to quickly and easily identify the root cause, allowing them to reduce the overall time to resolution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all software, it's not devoid of its issues or bugs. Not to say they have more than any other software out there, but they do have the occasional bug that is run into, and can be a temporary frustration while it gets resolved. (In which BigPanda does work to resolve in a timely fashion)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BigPanda allows us to correlate events from multiple monitoring systems. This then bridges into a single actionable ticket for our support teams to be able to investigate and work to resolution.

Great product offering, but support issues are consistant

What do you like best about the product?
BigPanda has been amazing with the ease of configuration and onboarding. UI usability is great and presents data logically and clearly. It
What do you dislike about the product?
Support interactions have been very poor. Currently, over a dozen support requests pending resolution and some of those are 90+ days old. This is the same pattern of behavior that led us to move to BigPanda.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had to make several compromises in functionality during onboarding and submitted a few feature requests critical to our users. We have not had any movement on these features and trying to get status or ETA for our internal business planning has been completely missing.
