Good digital product for business expenses
What do you like best about the product?
Our company uses Brex in a plethora of ways, from covering office expenses to reimbursing employee perks. It's easy to use, and I've personally added it to my apple wallet so I don't have to carry another card just for business expenses. It's easy for management to increase or manage the spending limit as well. Brex facilitates work expenses. No more bulky business receipts and lengthy processing times.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile experience could be improved. Whenever I upload a receipt by phone (text message), it's somehow applied to another expense and not as seamless as it could be. This requires me to end up logging in to the site to repeat that action.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to use, easy to make notes. It makes work expenses super easy.

My job requires a great deal of travel and I hated using my personal credit card for reimbursement. Using Brex credit card is the best thing ever!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is the easiest company card I've ever used and reconciling receipts is a one step process!

What do you like best about the product?
We use Brex cash and the Brex Credit Card at Rillavoice.
I've had to open business bank accounts before with traditional banks. It took me about 7 trips to the bank branch, a total of 6 hours of me and my co-founder's time, and a lot of annoying paperwork.
With Brex it took me less than 5 mins.
Managing expenses with traditional bank accounts was almost impossible, because it wasn't feasible to set up spending limits even with debit cards. With Brex it's just a button.
And the fact that I get to get points just by doing our regular startup spending, and get returns on our cash while it's in the bank.
This is probably one of the best products I've used as a startup founder.

They don't have checks and don't allow international payments from some countries, which means we have to keep other bank accounts open.

Earn points on the credit card which would've otherwise just been spent by a business debit card.
Invest our cash without having to do anything instead of just leaving it sitting there without generating anything.
And most importantly. Not feel so annoyed any time I have to use an online banking portal.

Brex is great for building business credit

The ability to earn points for monthly business expenses

Would like a detailed statement sent to my email vs. log-in to the portal

I run an eCommerce business and can realize cash back rewards on my card transactions. This works well for me because I pay my vendors by card always.
Working remote has its challenges! We're all learning through this pandemic!

Great credit card, easy to track business expenses
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can take pictures of the receipts and add it to each charge in the app. The security features are great, where it double checks your identity through your phone and email. The fact that I can use it via Apple Pay makes it a great addition to my wallet. Strongly recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not see a downside of the feature the card provides. No issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes I forget my card at home. When I do, I love the fact that I can retrieve my card information through the App or Website, so that I can use it electronically and safely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is great, very flexible, do not need to carry your card. You can access the information easily. It is great when expensing business expenses. It allows you to add pictures of the receipts to generate a travel expense report.

What do you like best about the product?
Great to be able to create new credit card numbers for different uses. Cash account is handy to have. Overall UX in the app and web app is enjoyable and easy to navigate. Promotions offered with their partners are compelling for startups like us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their credit card works like a charge card, so can't retain balance month-to-month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of expenses is easy with Brex. Not worrying about charge limits month-to-month is great.

What do you like best about the product?
The email receipts function is really convenient! I can just setup a macro to automatically forward receipts and then I don't have to worry about attaching them for electronic purchases. I haven't had any instances of a receipt failing to pair with an expense so far, and PayPal receipt emails work, so I could use that for many things if there's ever an issue. The split virtual and physical cards are also really convenient! It's also really minor, but I really like the aesthetic of Brex's websites and apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app is a bit annoying because I have to log in every time I open it. I also have to set my notifications preferences for every login as well. It also sometimes takes me a bit to remember how to find specific pages on the website (it has a divider right above a new line on my laptop, so options are hidden). Other than that, though, it seems to work pretty well!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily only make purchases and don't really worry about reconciling them, but the parts of Brex that I work with are really nice overall! It's really nice to be able to check expenses on my phone, and adding receipts is really convenient, as I mentioned before. As we start hiring more people, I'm sure that Brex's capabilities will be really convenient!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I was not involved in the process of comparing Brex to other options, but I fully trust the person who did make the decision, and I have not had any complaints so far! We're a new startup, so there are certainly features Brex may or may not have that will be more important as we grow. However, Brex has been able to meet our needs so far!
