Credit card for startups
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to get my Brex card (no personal guarantee) but what I like most is there are no annual fees and it comes with generous rewards. It doesn't hurt that their web portal is top-notch. It's very modern compared to other major credit cards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, we did not have automated synch with our accounting application (Xero) so that required extra work on my part to download CSV files and upload them into Xero, but now that has been fixed and everything is work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My primary suppliers bill my Brex card for materials they furnish to us and Brex's payment terms very generous which helps our cash flow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a startup looking for a credit card with no personal guarantee, flexible payment schedule, and great rewards, Brex is for you.
Great enterprise Credit Card
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use! I use my credit cards for work and it's very convenient to add the receipt and memo directly from my phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really! I love it! I would recommend it to any employees that travels a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to never spend my own money anymore for work trips!

AMAZING
What do you like best about the product?
The app that allows my team to avoid filling out time-sensitive expense reports. I also really like the reporting, executive dashboard, and other tools that help me manage my team!
What do you dislike about the product?
Mastercard is limiting at some vendors and I feel like a switch back to Visa would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expense reports and toil associated with it and eliminating the need for per diem. Brex has given me huge transparency into travel spend across teams, allows me to give discretionary budget to my employees for enablement tools to keep my headcount lower, not manage receipts with my accounting team, etc.

Get on Brex and stay on Brex. it is the best way to manage your team and expenses

What do you like best about the product?
Virtual Card and Physical Card (2 different numbers linked to 1 account). All vendors and expenses for the office can be under 1 virtual card number so if the physical card gets lost there's no interruption in business.
Also, I love that you can receive a text with each purchase with the physical card. You can reply to the text with a photo of the receipt.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that oftentimes I experience issues when attaching receipts in the web version. PDFs are required and sometimes the site simply doesn't save them or they do save them but when you try and open it and review it, it's 'corrupt'.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I don't have to submit an expense report, it just tracks everything for me. Way better than expensify.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure there is a ton to dislike. I know that as an admin its a much different experience and not as favorable.

What do you like best about the product?
Brex card provides more or less all of the features of a highly regarded business credit card, but it is a lot better for following reasons. They work with startups and your chance of getting a credit card as a funded startup is higher and a lot easier. Plus, they keep improving, adding new features every few months. Their website and expense tracking/filing is intuitive and easy, they offer multi layers of protection and convenience (online cards etc). For life science companies there are additional discounts they secure from major vendors. Support team is "real time" responsive or quick via email. You do not need to shout to a voice recording 10 times "I want to talk to a representative" or waste hours. My impression over the last one year is highly positive!
What do you dislike about the product?
No cons compared to all other cards I have used from other top providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It adds another layer of protection compared to using debit cards. Expense tracking, exporting, management along with receipt submission matching etc is easy. They offer an online card for online transactions (makes online form filling a lot easier). They are motivated to help and grow with startups. We like that they are interested to hear what we (customers) like and not.
Highly recommend Brex for startups and small businesses !
What do you like best about the product?
The initial startup with Brex takes no time whatsoever and the user interface enables easy management of expenses without any worries. My favourite part about the software is being able to upload receipts using my smartphone.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to say because this software is so unique but one thing I would like is more freedom in the categorization of items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a startup it's hard to have a team of dedicated administrative staff and Brex streamlines a lot of the work for our current members and decreases the amount of time we need to spend on expense reports.

This is great for small businesses and there is an app which makes doing expenses so much faster !

What do you like best about the product?
They will issue cards to startups. Startups are largely ignored by traditional brick and mortar banks and they make it difficult getting credit cards usually. Also, they have really great technology compared to banks. They sweat the details on how their app works and take a lot of the accounting burden off of my shoulders which is appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a bank account. This is the final piece that would really make me happy, as we could then completely disengage with our brick and mortar bank.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing cash flow and expense management. It integrates well with our accounting software which is great. We click one button and our accounting for expenses on the card are completed.

Brex is simple and easy to use. It makes it easy to manage payments, earn rewards, spin up virtual cards, and share expenses across the team.

No auto-billing at a dynamic threshold (to prevent hitting a spending limit)

We are pushing all of our corporate spend through Brex. This has streamlined our expenses.
