Brex has extremely dishonorable business practices
What do you like best about the product?
I used to be able to recommend Brex due to their generous rewards points, modern interface, and online support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not able to recommend Brex anymore due to their extremely shady business practices. For example, several months ago Brex devalued their cashback points with ZERO notice to customers. We only found out when redeeming points a couple months later. What used to be a 1-1 conversion was devalued to 1-0.6 conversion - with ZERO notice to users. We could've switched cards to maximize our points, or cashed out early, but clearly Brex has no interest in serving their customer's interests, only their own.
Another example, Brex's corporate card is touted as having no foreign transaction fees. This is a lie. The truth is they mark up the conversion, such that the Foreign Exchange rate has a mark-up of 3%. This is the same as Chase and other banks, only that Chase has the decency to tell you. I'm not sure why it isn't illegal to omit this on their website or other info.
There are other beefs - such as a recent change to their website UI that is entirely non-intuitive, and bank transfers taking up to two weeks to process - but these are the main ones.
I cannot recommend Brex anymore.
In short:

Great System
What do you like best about the product?
I love the user friendly interface. It doesn't matter if im on the App or the website it's easy to manage and switch between different budgets. Uploading receipts are easy via text.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel overall the brex platform is great but maybe one area we could improve is adding balance alerts for low balance or daily balance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up 2 budgets help alot. Having 2 pots of money to pull from helps manage where the money is going. This is more productive and time saving for me and my team.
Brex makes it simple to make purchases on the fly and account for them with our BizOps team
What do you like best about the product?
Brex has helped make it very easy for me to make purchases for my home office and acts like another credit card for me, so I can save it as a form of payment in my amazon account. I used to have to use my own cards for purchasing and would have to do a lot of extra work to pass along receipts, so Brex has streamlined this for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know if I have any issues with Brex at the moment. It's a Visa card, so it's pretty much accepted everywhere and often times will auto-categorize expenses making it easy for our business operations team to keep up with my spending. Overall I'm very happy with Brex.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think for our business Brex is making it very easy for our employees to spend company money like it's their money. We're able to move a lot faster when it comes to booking customer dinners and outings and overall it's made my life as an end user a lot easier because I have to do way less accounting for purchases than I've had to do in the past.
Excellent support
What do you like best about the product?
The customer support! Very friendly and efficent support channels that always have a solution. Additionally their portal is intuitive and easy to navigate. Saves me time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was a a small training segment of the portal. There is so many useful tools I figured out, just wish I figured them out sooner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy way to add notes to reciepts. Also easy refund request with quick return deposits.
Brex is awesome
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact I can get coffee for free :) it's simple to use and is very handy to have and an awesome per for my employer to provide.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing the card and system is completely user-friendly and the hardest task I have had thus far was uploading a receipt which was super easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brex makes it easy to give employers the tools to gift employees small amounts of joy each much with a very easy and managable way to do so.

I like that the app is simple to read and understand. All the major info is right there on the first page when you open the app. It's rare I ever have to look for something

Really have no dislikes, it does what it's suppose to do and I have no issues.

I use Brex almost every day for business needs. It is so easy and convenient.

Their customer service is unmatched, I had to call one day and the gentlemen was more than helpful. The app and online is very seamless to use.

At the moment, I do not have any downsides to speak on regarding Brex; this resource is beneficial

What do you like best about the product?
Great self-service portal, that's easy to use and makes switching reimbursement accounts easy and instant! Love that you can add to your digital wallet, use as online card and physical card too. Physical card arrived super fast and haven't needed it yet, but seems like it would be easy to topup company issued accounts when limits are hit.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I'm not sure about is the receipt management and auto-coding, seems this still requires some manual attention. Likely I just need to spend time using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Paying for travel and expenses and computer accessories as a remote employee. Brex has made it seamless to meet the needs of my job without being out of pocket waiting for reimbursement when using personal funds.
