Amazing Experience and Amazing Account Managers
What do you like best about the product?
Cost control as well how we can import to our ERP. Also when there is a question we have a great support in helping us.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing in Brex to dislike. Only concern from the employees is signing up to Plaid
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Spend Management. Reviewing the expense and providing accountability to the employees using the cards
Implementation team is not that great but the product does well with some small issues
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to use and the process of doing expences is smooth and we have multiple options on the admin side to set up mandatory data that needed and expecations on what is required.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process to get this implimeted was not smooth and the person we worked with did not seem to care about our timeline or what our needs were as a new users to a expence platform. I found to skip my personf or implimentaiton and directly speak to support was easier to do and faster.
Also the way the expences come in vs expences that need to be reviewed are a little not set up in the most smoothest way. There seems to be a high level of human error - if I don't set up the correct rules I'll miss en expence that might be a red flag. I was hoping there was some support we would get on on budgets to provide guidence and review to see if we did everything correctly but that does not seem to be something that we have the option on. But over all the platform is a learning curve we are learning something new everyday.
At the end of the day the implementation process and the training was extreamly dissapointing. For training it was not clear or easy and on top of that the mobile view of the app was never shown which is what people use on the day to day. You would think the team would know that's important to use.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the platform. Theplatform is very user friendly and it syncs seamlessly with netsuite for extreme ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would dislike is that when I make transfers between accounts I have to make a manual entry in netsuite to reconcile the bank statement instead of being able to sync the transfer from Brex directly to Netsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps keep all our employees with expense reports and credit cards in compiance. It allows me to have all my banking and credit cards on one platform.

We like that customer support (both technical and business development) is always available.
The portal and app have a lot of information. Approvers can use the same app and login to manage approvals as well as process their own expenses, which is an advantage over other platforms we tested.
For employees, it is very easy to use. It was adopted quickly.
The reporting dashboard is informative.
Several entities or subsidiaries can be managed by one admin, which is very convenient.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are frequent changes. Some of the changes are confusing. For example, with the recent addition of spending limits, it now takes two steps to assign a budget to an employee where in the past it was one step.
Custom fields currently cannot be used with an API, and for that reason our integration of Brex with QuickBooks requires manual steps.

We manage our physical and virtual cards, as well as recurring accounts payable, via Brex.

What do you like best about the product?
Adding memos in the platform page to allocate expenses as well as ease of issuing cards with limited budgets. Easy to run compliance with this features. Slack integration for recipets is also a great feature.

The travel has gotten better to book with spotana but traditionally we haven't used the playform bc it isn't the most easy to use.

Compliance for spending policies and reciept tracking.

What do you like best about the product?
Brex simplifies paying contractors, consultants, and vendors. It also does a great job allowing me to manage employee spend via Brex cards.
We also appreciate the ease with which Brex integrates with Quickbooks Online. I prepare the transactions and then our outside bookkeeping firm syncs Brex with QBO and is able to quickly and easily prepare our monthly financials.
Customer support has been a strong point for Brex as well. I can easily connect with support and get the answers I need for my questions.

What do you dislike about the product?
About 1 year ago I began to use Brex Bill pay. It didn't do a great job of recognizing invoices and correctly identifying invoice number, payment amount etc. Recently, though, that feature has been improved and I've begun using it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brex solves two main problems. First, we needed an easy way to manage employee spending on travel, entertainment, etc. Brex has done a great job with this. It is easy for me to quickly and easily see how much each employee has spent and how much may be remaining.
The second problem is easy expense payment. A large portion of our expenses are international contractors. We are able to use Brex to quickly and easily pay these contractors in multiple foreign currencies.

Brex Banking
What do you like best about the product?
Brex is very user friendly, intuitive, has helpful and easy to use tools, offers high yield money market for unused funds and autofills bills fairly accurately with drag and drop upload of a pdf invoice. It also allows payments in foreign currencies. I found the few times I've had to use customer support, they were very responsive and able to resolve my issues.

I haven't experienced any real downsides.

Brex has allowed the company to eliminate the requirement of using another financial institution for foreign currency payments.
Good bank and easy to handle. A great option for international small companies.

Brex is incredibly intuitive and easy to handle, making it a great choice for international payments and purchasing flights.

Brex functionality is marred by slow customer support response times, and its permissions based on profiles are not optimal.
