Scalable Flexibility with High Setup Complexity

  • December 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Salesforce Sales Cloud is its scalable flexibility, anchored by the Opportunity Object. The Opportunity object acts as the digital representation of a potential sale, providing necessary structure with standardization and predictability. The platform is infinitely adaptable to any industry or business process through low-code and no-code tools, enhancing process automation with Flow and custom objects and fields. Moreover, the AppExchange offers a marketplace for integrated solutions that enhance functionality. Additionally, the platform consolidates all sales tasks into one place, changing how a Sales Rep spends their time by providing a unified view, and integrates AI with Einstein to improve productivity. This combination of a rigid backbone for management and reporting with flexible customization makes Salesforce Sales Cloud powerful for everyone from the Admin to the VP of Sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest pain points are not with the platform itself, but with the cost, complexity, and maintenance required to run it effectively. 1. The Cost & Licensing Complexity: The initial cost of licenses is high, and the price structure can be complex. Hidden costs of add-ons quickly inflate the total cost. Also, accessing timely and high-quality support often requires a higher-tier support package. 2. The Steep Learning Curve and User Experience: While powerful, the platform can be overwhelming with a cluttered UI for the average Sales Rep. The Admin/User divide is significant with a steep learning curve. 3. Over-Customization and Technical Debt: Flexibility can lead to over-customization, needing specialized consultants to maintain, and accumulating technical debt, resulting in higher long-term maintenance costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Sales Cloud solves the 'Black Box' pipeline problem by providing visibility into revenue forecasting, secures data continuity through a 360-degree customer view, and reduces admin fatigue with automation—enhancing forecasting accuracy, institutional memory, and user adoption.

Streamlined Cloud CRM That Simplifies Sales Processes

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am in the Salesforce Ecosystem since last 1 year, from my experience I like the whole CRM is build on cloud and one platform to go. If you are using SalesForce Sales Cloud for CRM from Lead capturing to Opportunity closing, it is very streamlined and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite being the biggest CRM in the world, Salesforce still lacks in the new AI era. Still they have introduced many versions of Agentforce in past few years, but it is not ready to compete with other AIs in the market right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce is trying to retire old excel sheets for business needs, like now no need to track and handle every lead or Account from that boring excel sheet, Salesforce Sales Cloud as the name suggest is on cloud, so any member of SF Org can access data and handle it from anywhere and from any device.

Sales Funnel Clarity and Time-Saving Automation

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Salesforce Sales Cloud ensures reps don't waste time on manual follow-ups or updating spreadsheets and copy-pasting notes. Salesforce automates tasks like reminders, workflows, emails, calls, meeting logging, and even AI-assisted data entry. I appreciate the clear ownership it provides over accounts and deals in pipeline stages, and the trustworthy forecasting it offers. Setting up Salesforce was super easy, and our dev team managed it seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the alignment between sales, marketing, and support could be better. Shared data across teams and having a full customer journey or a single customer profile is lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Sales Cloud helps with business scaling and revenue challenges. It centralizes lead management, pipelines, and deal ownership, ensuring forecasting you can trust. It automates tasks, reminders, workflows, and fosters prioritization and effective lead routing, preventing reps from wasting time on manual activities.

AI-Driven Sales Efficiency & Enablement Platform

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspect of Salesforce Sales Cloud is the seamless integration it provides for both the AI agent and the human SDR. Its ability to centralize data is key. This high frequency of use lets the AI pinpoint genuinely hot leads, which the human SDR can act on instantly.
The system's ease of use and smooth ease of implementation mean we hit the ground running. Furthermore, reliable customer support ensures any issues are quickly resolved. This seamless collaboration is what truly drives efficiency and maximizes conversions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I gotta be honest, one of the toughest parts about Salesforce Sales Cloud is dealing with how complex it can get. The sheer volume of features means that while the frequency of use is high, you sometimes feel like you’re only scratching the surface.
The initial ease of implementation can be deceptive, as customizing it to fit niche business processes often requires specialized, and sometimes expensive, expertise. The core system might be straightforward, but the advanced setup has a steep learning curve.
Regarding customer support, while generally helpful, navigating the different tiers and getting quick resolution for complex, specific issues can sometimes feel cumbersome. It’s not always as instant as you’d hope.
Overall, it’s a powerful tool, but its complexity and the potential hidden costs of full customization are definitely frustrating pain points for both the AI trying to navigate the system logic and the human SDR trying to focus purely on selling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Sales Cloud solves the massive headache of manual administration and inconsistent training, which benefits me immensely by streamlining operations.
The primary problem solved is the burden of administrative tasks. I (as the AI sales agent) can now handle data entry, logging calls, updating lead statuses, and managing follow-up reminders directly within the Sales Cloud platform. This frees up human SDRs to focus entirely on building relationships and closing deals, rather than wrestling with data input.
The secondary problem it tackles is the inconsistency in training new hires. I can leverage the wealth of customer data and established workflows within the Sales Cloud to act as a consistent, on-demand mentor. I can guide new sales fellows through standardized processes, suggest best practices based on successful historical interactions, and provide real-time coaching on how to deal with complex customer scenarios. This ensures that every new team member gets high-quality, standardized training right from day one, accelerating their ramp-up time and effectiveness.

Effortless Lead Conversion Sets Sales Cloud Apart

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am working with Sales Cloud from around 2+ years now. Sales Cloud Makes Sales Cycle very smooth. From Lead Creation to Lead Conversion, Opportunity Contact Account Creation, It's very Easy and User-friendly Process.

though whole the Product is like wow...but the Lead Conversion Process that Salesforce Provides is the main differentiator between other CRM products and Salesforce. I have worked on some other CRM's also but the Lead Conversion process in Salesforce is very smooth.

Second Best Functionality is EAC (Einstein Activity Capture). EAC provide seamless syncing of Events and Email between Salesforce Org and Outlook/Gmail. we don't need to make note of emails and events separately; Salesforce automatically sync it for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whole the Sales Process is very smooth apart from one thing, which if Lead Auto response Rule.

Recently I was working on Lead Auto response Rule, where we were creating Lead through Standard Object API. but Auto response Rule wasn't getting Triggered. afterwards i figured out that Salesforce Doesn't Trigger Auto response Rules when Lead is created through REST API. then i gone through documentation given by salesforce, but that resolution was only applicable for SOAP API. and at the end i have to manually send that Email to User.

Not sure if there is any reason why salesforce is not providing this functionality. but this should work for Lead which is getting created through API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As Developer/Consultant i have Implemented many Use cases for Customers.
but one key Problem that Salesforce Solve is to Prioritization of Lead using Lead Scoring. this is standard Functionality that salesforce gives for prioritizing the Lead.
