Perspective of Salesforce Sales Cloud as a 10+ year Consultant!
What do you like best about the product?
I could almost write a book about what I like about Sales Cloud. Sales Cloud is the bread and butter of Salesforce CRM. It includes many out-of-the-box objects and fields that are ready for use for any small, medium or enterprise business. Of course, customization is needed to configure additional fields, business rules, automation rules, and security, but it can be easily done with a seasoned administrator or consultant. It is a flexible CRM with a powerful automation engine and an endless amount of apps you can add to your Salesforce with the AppExchange.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure. Companies new to Salesforce will need to understand and navigate the different license options available, which will impact the annual cost of Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales Cloud allows all my clients to track their key prospects (Leads), customers (Accounts & Contacts), and sales pipeline (Opportunities). It allows them to track their engagement with these customers with tasks and report on them.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that the tool not only allows you to track your leads and contacts but you can manage your pipeline and build reports to increase sales in collaboration with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that integration with salesforce from third party data and analytics can become very cumbersome if it doesn't follow the salesforce data model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps track of the client information and help manage the relationship with the client on a regular basis with sales information to back up the relationship. It also helps increase sales territory based on performance which help increase individual employee rating at year end.
Great building blocks
What do you like best about the product?
They system comes with so many out of the box features it makes the implementation process really smooth. Easily customizable to meet needs of various sales teams without requiring different applications. Very excited to get started!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the loading times have been a challenge. This may be product, infrastructure or a combination.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing lots of different data sources together in one managed source of truth. If it isn't in Salesforce, it didn't happen.

What do you like best about the product?
CRM, easy to configure and customised. Sales cloud can be used out of box or customised as needed. We integrated sales cloud w many 3rd party tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have a sf admin who is not skilled he or she can messed up the sf structure and very hard to cleanup and optimise
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage our subscription and ad sale processes, without sales cloud we cannot mange our customers and sales.
Sales Cloud as a partner manager
What do you like best about the product?
I leverage Salesforce sales cloud to manage incoming partnership requests, manage current partners, and track partner status. One of the most efficient ways I use sales cloud is at the account level under kanban view.
When a new partner lead comes in, I can create an account for it and easily track the partner life cycle from start to finish. Having to track dozens of partners this makes it very simply for me to manage follow up and action items to keep a partner progressing forward.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any particular dislike with how I use Salesforce sales cloud, but what would be helpful is tying our slack channel to Salesforce. A lot of my partner relationships are on slack today and being able to have slack and Salesforce connected to track partner agreements, new leads, or opportunities would be really helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce sales cloud is helping me track a large number of partners in one view and be able to easily track where these partners are at in their life cycle. Before, we were tracking partners on spreadsheets, manually uploading referrals, adding new contacts, and keeping partner agreements in personal devices. Now everything is uploaded into Salesforce and it saves our teams hours of time daily to focus on bigger initiatives.
Very useful tool with an enormous ecosystem of supporting products

Very useful tool. Integrates well with all business processes. Very large ecosystem of supporting products and solutions. Intuitive and easy to use but also infinitely customisable
What do you dislike about the product?
Design can be a bit messy at times. Requires some work to get the optimal customisation. The ecosystem of products could be streamlined and certain products could be merged

Single source of truth for all commercial data. Ability to visualise and summarise large data sets. Ability to set data governance and standards. Large user community

What do you like best about the product?
To have the salesfoce data as the source of truth and use this to grow the business and develop segmentation. To probide useful insights to the business. To be able to track sales activity
What do you dislike about the product?
The design can look like an internal sytem which can be sometimes making more sense but for when sales people have to use it would be good to have it more user attractive design

The sales data management side to higher the visibility to every single step of the sales pipeline and to keep the governance in place for future issues. And reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
The vertical integration through all Salesforce products. Continued access to training. Ease of use along with continued development on tight cycles

Ease of training non-technical users on new products can be hard sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outdated CRM and lack of integration with our other systems.

Good for a low code solution
What do you like best about the product?
Sales cloud is very adaptable to a variety of possible business needs. It's also very easy to administer with minimal coding knowledge so that you can customize a sales journey for your particular customer life cycle
What do you dislike about the product?
While non coding solutions are very strong, some of the more advanced features or apps require some amount of technical knowledge in order to implement. Adoption of new features can also be a challenge sometimes

Consolidated customer information for both leads and opportunities allows a sales or service agent to quickly see whatever information is more relevant to them and minimizing some of the noise that may be less relevant to their role
