What do you like best about the product?
Features outstand from all features as per my own workings experience would be always designing automations, Circuit diagram simulator.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rendering takes time some times may be due to my own computer hardware specifications.

My experience has been with Altium Designer has been smooth and amazing form beginning of this tool use till now.

Initially faced problems but Altium Designer support team is there.

EDA and CAD
It works very well and I like how you can see online comments in the software

The fact that people can add comments anytime

The worst pare (not even bad) is having to save to server. Adding a feature to do it automaticlly would be nice.

It solves the problem of having to share the schematic via email everytime I update it.
Excellent software and support
What do you like best about the product?
Altium has a great interface that provides the user with all they need for PCB design. You can define your board however you want based on your needs and limits with just a few clicks. There is an automatic implementation of parts, where if you need a specific component you can just drag and drop it in the design. Great simulation tools and workspace environment. I love that no matter the level of experience, Altium provides you with all the tools to step by step learn PCB design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much honestly. It takes sometime to learn but it provides all the tools to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing boards quickly, producing BOM, quickly importing components in the design and simulating the overall circuit.

PCB designing automation, PCB layouting and prototyping are the most useful features as per experience working PCB Development and Designing projects.

Complexity for beginners. But step by step tool guide is there.

Easy to get started, many guides and tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be overwhelming considering the amount of functions. Although it it an expensive tool to have (luckily we have a University-wide license).

I use Altium mainly for prototyping.

Provides smooth transition from other tools to altium. Lot of training tutorials available for students and professional.

there is no option where the design can automaticaly save to server , when ever a change is made

there are some suggestions that I send to open ticket but nobody reply to me. Suggestion could be usefull to the PCB designer. It is important to take into account the suggestion of end user.

there aren't problem solved. Instead there are a lot of PCBs made and designed without mistakes

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ''History'' feature of Altium the most, where you can go and view past versions of your project, as well as the server feature, which allows you to have all your work organition's project and library in one place, which eliminates the need for Github.
What do you dislike about the product?
The occasional but rare crashes, the ruler (CTRL + M) that sometimes doesn't snap correctly in the center of a footprint or at any useful part of the circuit and how long it can be to import a footprint/symbol.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Altium is helping us create printed circuit boards at a professional level and easily import the 3D files of the boards in a mechanical assembly.

The integration with other design tools and the ability to manage components effectively are also standout features that streamline the entire design process.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Altium 365 is its occasional lag and slow response times, especially when working with larger and more complex projects. Additionally, the initial learning curve can be steep for new users who are not familiar with cloud-based design tools, requiring a significant amount of time and effort to become fully proficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Altium 365 has significantly improved our design team's ability to collaborate on complex PCB projects. Previously, coordinating design changes and ensuring everyone had the latest updates was a cumbersome and error-prone process. For instance, on a recent project involving a multi-layer PCB for a new consumer electronics device, team members from different locations were able to simultaneously review and edit the design in real time. This not only reduced the risk of version control issues but also sped up the design process by 30%, allowing us to meet tight deadlines and bring the product to market faster. The integrated component management system also ensured we used verified components, reducing the risk of production delays due to sourcing issues.
