excellent system requirements repository
What do you like best about the product?
The GUI is quite intuitive.
The system provides many features for managing the requiremnts and their traceability.
The support team is highly responsive and colaborative - both in early implementation and also for usage support and product customization.
Great value-for-money

What do you dislike about the product?
missing te ability to add and edit the document.
Integration to other tools (for example JIRA)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Valispace has proviided my system engineering team a huge benefit by allowing us to manage our requirements and their tracebility easily.
Great concept but still many bugs
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is much simpler, cleaner and easier to use compare to other software solutions. Compared to using a spreadsheet you get many additional features like version tracking, tracibility, formula based requirements etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I still experience many bugs every day, especially in the front-end. The testing module has never received much attention and is barely useful in my opinion. I am missing some key features:
- Custom requirement identifier numbering (also separate identifier per section)
- Placeholder for deleted requirements to block the identifier number
- An easy way to share a requirements list with non-Valispace user
- A proper testing module
- Better formatting in the requirements text editor

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organised way of managing requirements
Valispace creates a true single source of truth to keep my team and our partners on the same page
What do you like best about the product?
Valispace has an intiutiive system in place for linking requirements, components, analysis, and verification together, and it exists live in a web browser that lets me and my whole team look at and work on the same thing at the same time. The best thing about them, though, is their amazing customer service that responds blazingly fast whenever I have issues or comments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vlispace can take a bit of time to administer. It is also not the most flexible tool around, there are limitations in what kind of columns can be created to represent data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Valispace solves the problem of making sure my whole team has access to the latest set of requirements in a dynamic program where these things are constantly evolving. It saves me a lot of time finding things for other people on my team. The parent/child relationships are also really valuable when reviewing requirements later, to know what will be imapcted by any changes as well as where numbers came from.
A365 Review
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best and best features about A365 is that vast numbers of components available and custome electronic components and layouts and PCB designing. We can manage our own library for custone component.
New electronic part making with A365.
Amazing for electronic projects R&D.
It makes our PCB designing projects seamless and easy.

What do you dislike about the product?
No nothing can't tell anything about this one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business problems I would say for PCB layouting and editing
Helpful Tool for Organizing Spacecraft Design
What do you like best about the product?
Task tracker; the way that formulas can get calculated from sub component up to full assembly; formulas for power and mass; the document generation feature that links directly to your project; verifying program requirements; visual mapping of subcomponents in an assembly
What do you dislike about the product?
Valispace is a software based program so formulas are not as straight forward; documents are limited in design; copying subcomponents can be cumbersome and cause Valispace to have to think a lot; could improve on electrical board design capabilities for pinouts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Valispace has helped us to keep our assembly components and their corresponding formulas/calculations in one location and be able to branch between multiple departments (mechanical, systems, electrical, etc.) to complete spacecraft design according to customer requirements.
Valispace Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Valispace is an intuitive tool for the project develop, in particular focused principally on the requirements managment but not only. It is possible to define it a sort of System Engineering tool, where it is possible to develop simulations, priliminary budget and mange the requirements from the first relase to the verification
What do you dislike about the product?
It has not major weaknesses. Sometimes some little bugs could be detected but the Customer Care resolve any issue in a very short time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is possible to manage the requirements in an esay way and it is possible to share the requirements with the teams, discuss on that, create new tag, create new fields basing on the Customer needs. In addition, it is easy to export the requirements in excel or word format in order to deliver the document to the Customer.
Great tool for system engineering
What do you like best about the product?
Valispace is a great tool for system engineering. It is easy to use and implement in your pipeline and is made according to industry standards. We use it daily mainly for our requirement management and as a single point of truth for our technical budgets. Those two features are great! The AI tool to help you redact requirements is also an asset as it help you spend less time on the redaction while focusing on the true value of the requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still work to be done on the user interface to make it user-friendly. It can be slow sometimes and not easy to handle, sometimes also too constraining. It could be improved by giving more freedom to the user. Even if they are great ideas, we are not using some features because of that like document writing and the test features. If it was more versatile and stable it could avoid us using other tools for the rest of our work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single point of truth for both requirement and MBSE that are linked together.
A User’s Perspective: Reviewing Altium’s Design Software
What do you like best about the product?
The interface offers a neatly integrated environment where all the functions are easily accessible.
The constraint manager makes it very straightforward to handle rules in one place.
Updating the layout after a schematic change is very straightforward.
The generation of manufacturing data is made really easy, as are the 3D functions of visualization, case model integration.
Learning to use the software is quite easy with a large amount of training material available.
A lot of effort was put into customer support.
But most of all it allows to concentrate of the important thing, schematic and PCB design.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functions are overly complex, such as the interactive BOM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows to design PCBs with a straightforward design flow and concentrate on the aspects that matter most.
A very powerful software for pcb and electronic product design
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is well organized and functional, all is integrated and you don't have to switch between multiple software to capture your scematic, transfer them to the PCB and document your product.
I also like the possibility to design multiboard product and document the design with draftsman.
This saves us from use other tools just to document the mechanical requirements to send to the fab to build the case for the boards.
We are exploring the new harness capability but I haven't yet used this capability in real project. Seems to be real interesting and moves the product in the direction that helps to use the same software from the idea to the documentation of the entire design.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some feature that we need and that has been required from multiple users a long time ago and that has not yet been implemented.
What we miss is the possibility to design an asymetrical pcb stackup like you need to do with aluminium board.
