Senior engineer in design electronics units.
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing designs with the other engineers. Shared libraries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to say. I don't see such things now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cooperate with the other engineers (mechanics, electronics), and EMS.
I use Altium365 for sharing ongoing projects with team and for libraries sharing.
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me to get feedback from my team about necessary corrections in the design. Adding comments to schematic is very intuitional.
What do you dislike about the product?
Library items can not be locked for further changes. Team member is able to make unintentional change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The exchange of information between employees is faster and more precise. One component library for all team members decrease numbers of prototype desings.
I can`t imagine working alone, let alone in team, without Altium 365.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about the A365 is collabration. I appreciate the fact, that you can easilly access your projects, review schematics etc. This is not done so easily in other software. Moreover, I personally prefer to look at schematics in A365 rather than AD
What do you dislike about the product?
The components library is very unintuitive. I am lacking an option to block the edition of the compoennt. Also, I would expand measurement posibilities and visibility of some scheamtics features, for example: parameter sets are not visible in A365
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Sharing schematics is very easy
- Comments (most useful way of advice and design verification)
- design accesible from everywhere
- the project history and coming back to the revision is an absolute must have
Those are my four primary advantages

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Altium 365 makes collaboration a breeze for our team at Technica Electronics. The real-time collaboration features allow us to work together seamlessly, no matter where we are. It's been a game-changer for our productivity. Plus, the cloud-based platform gives us easy access to design files from anywhere, which is incredibly convenient for our on-the-go work and collaborations with partners. Overall, Altium 365's collaboration tools and accessibility have made our R&D work at Technica Electronics much smoother and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed that the user interface can be somewhat complex and overwhelming at times. It took a bit of time for our team to fully grasp all the functionalities, and some colleagues found it less intuitive than they would have liked. Simplifying the interface or providing more user-friendly guidance could help address this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Altium 365 simplifies project tracking, task assignment, and timeline monitoring, boosting overall organization and It enables secure sharing of design data with external partners, enhancing our supply chain efficiency.
A very versatile EDA tool
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple and intuitive interface for parts placement and PCB layout. Very comprehensive Schematic verification/simulation tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing model. Would prefer simpler licensing procedures
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Routine circuit and PCB design for our battery product and testing support
Easy to use even for a beginner
What do you like best about the product?
Good support & useful online guide updated after each version.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some intuitive features are lacking or not easy to figure out, for ex. moving around parallel wires that are connected on both side to component in SCH whitout having them collide and merge together. The auto-routing of tracks in layouts can also be very inefficient. Having the possibility to enlarge pictures of parts in the manufacturer part search panel would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Altium is my only tool to design PCB.
Easiest PCB design package I have used
What do you like best about the product?
Straightfoward design flow is easy to pick up. You can learn the details as you go along.
What do you dislike about the product?
In program help is poor, but there is plenty of online help out there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast and easy way to design PCBs.
