Altium greatly accelerates PCB design time

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature by far is the integrated manufacturer and supply chain part search.
What do you dislike about the product?
None I can think of, everything is great so far
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrated viewing of both the schematic and the PCB, which used to be in two different software programs. Integrated manufacturer part search is great for saving time.

Deep dive into PCB design

What do you like best about the product?
The atomicity and the level of depth with which I could design a PCB. There were also plenty of shorthands that made things quicker. I have used Eagle before. Eagle might have had a simpler interface but Altium was miles better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding footprints. If we accidentally moved the footprint files to another location, it was a massive headache to set it right. Better resources and help online would be nice. A lot of the user interface is somewhat dated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing a schematic based on design and seamlessly generating a PCB. The whole drag-and-drop, pick-and-play approach made it easy to use as first-time designers. Overall pretty fun.

What do you like best about the product?
The seemless integration between PCB design and schematics. Smooth OS and overall really enjoyable experience. Very good for my university work, would recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all, I love it! I've used it for my university and extra curricular work and haven't encountered any issues!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PCB design for my formula student team. I also use it for my own electronics coursework and it helps massively.

Best Designing Software for Beginers to Learn

What do you like best about the product?
The best user-friendly user interface and tools are available to create our PCBs.

I used this software to complete my final year project (the part where I had to make a PCB according to the specifications).

Visualizing the layers of the Conductor, Semi-Conductor and Insulator is helpful for beginners.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used this software in my college lab while trying to install it on my pc; I was shocked by the pricing.

The unexpected freeze or crash of the software is the most horrible thing that could happen when you are about to finish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basic PCBs are readily prepared using sketching and etching, but complex PCBs require digital designing, and precision is a must. Altium Designer is a breath saver on this one.

What do you like best about the product?
Overall Altium has everything we need. Library management is easy with Altium 365 and the collaboration with mechanical is well integrated. Good tutorials online.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a higher learning curve as there are a lot of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Altium helps us get our projects to market faster with all the tools available in the software. Altium 365 is helpful from the collaboration side of things and makes library management easier.

The range of tools available is staggering, and it's basically the only thing I need to take a board from design to manufacturing.

User interface can be difficult to navigate.

Powerful PCB Tool

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to do most anything you would like to do. Sometimes to a fault. Overall compared to other platforms this one is hand's down the best schematic capture and pcb layout tool I have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I have is that while there are many useful tools to use, they aren't always the easiest to find. There are multiple instances, at least in my case, where I didn't know about a tool that would have saved me a ton of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to design and layout custom PCB's from top to bottom, and the capability to realize that product from start to finish and view the product in a real world application

What do you like best about the product?
Everything is straightforward and organized reasonably. Altium's youtube channel is super useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Placing a polygon is a bit confusing. However, I'm almost figuring it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think it's the most user-friendly software for PCB design. They have thought of anything you might need before!

What do you like best about the product?
It makes PCB design super super simple. It allows for easy design bringup
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the crucial settings are well hidden. I would appreciate an easier layout for some of the more critical settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a program to design critical medical electronics and Altium was our best bet since it is an industry-leading program.

What do you like best about the product?
Altium is used to design Printed circuit boards and many other electronic devices. It has a user-friendly interface, advanced design features, and real-time collaboration capabilities. Designers create high-quality PCB designs efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Altium Designer is a complex software with many features and capabilities. Differential pair length tuning is complex in Altium compared to other software. The highspeed signal constant seat is difficult.
And a powerful computer and a high-speed internet connection are used to run smoothly and efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Electronic devices have complex, and the design requirements for PCB have become more intricate. Altium Designer helps designers meet these complex design requirements by providing advanced design tools, such as differential pair routing, length tuning, and high-speed design features.
As designs become more complex, the ability to visualize and verify the procedure becomes more critical. Altium Designer provides advanced visualization tools, such as 3D visualization and clearance checking, that help designers identify and resolve potential mechanical conflicts and clearance issues.
