What do you like best about the product?
I have been thoroughly impressed with the software. The schematic development environment is top-notch, making it easy to design and document circuit diagrams. The PCB routing tools are also fantastic, allowing me to create accurate and manufacturable layouts with ease. But perhaps the feature I appreciate the most is the ability to collaborate with my team members. Altium Designer includes a range of collaboration tools, such as real-time design synchronization and team collaboration features, which have made it much easier for us to work together on projects. Overall, I highly recommend Altium Designer to anyone in the PCB design industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a user of Altium Designer, I will admit that the learning curve can be steep at first. However, the software's excellent documentation goes a long way in making the learning process easier and more enjoyable. The documentation includes a range of resources, such as tutorials, user guides, and online communities, which provide valuable guidance and support. While it may take some time to become proficient with Altium Designer, the thorough documentation makes it well worth the effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a user of Altium Designer, I have found the software to be an invaluable tool for product development. The collaboration features, such as the online viewer and offline editing capabilities, have made it much easier for my team to work together and ensure that we are always working from the most up-to-date designs. The ability to view and collaborate on designs in real-time has been particularly helpful, as it has allowed us to identify and resolve issues more quickly. Altium Designer has truly been an integral part of our product development process, and I highly recommend it to any team looking to streamline and improve their workflow.

I like the documentation and how easy it is to design new schematics and pcbs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you need to learn how to do things but once you know it, it's pretty straight forward.

What do you like best about the product?
Closely coupled libraries management, schematic capture, simulation and PCB layout that maximizes efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhat heavy and sometimes slow responding even on top PCs as well as lack of support on other platforms (linux/macOS)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Close coupling in design combined with powerful ERC/DRC checks minimizes chances for design errors. My design errors have been reduced by at least 15% since transitioning to Altium, even without fully utilizing all features.
Modern, fast, collaborative PCB design software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to get started, simple library management, clean project structure (not thousands of files with different extensions for each pad or via hole as in Allegro)
What do you dislike about the product?
support seems to be a bit slow in fixing critical bugs (needs to go through BugCrunch and you have to convince the Altium community that the bug is important, this is a no-go for me)

The most helpful thing in Altium Design:
The Schematic design with block and all this stafe.
The control impedance and the excellent view of 3D.
The interface is so easy, and there are many open projects you can found it.
Also, many big companies use Altium for HW design.

What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest
Altium is the best hardware design I used in my life.
But I think you can update, for example, tools for calculating like a buck, boost..., and some recommendations for DDR4 or DDR5 design.

Altium design can:
Save time for design.
Save the cost of BOM.
Very good support.
You have many open-source projects you can inspire from them.
There are many tutorials for the beginner engineer.

The user interface and the extensive training materials.

The import/export to other packages such as Cadence.

Getting high-quality, dependable PCB layouts done in a short amount of time.

What do you like best about the product?
I find the outstanding aspect of Altium is their support. Altium designer is a complex development environment and having quick support helps to reduce time lost.
What do you dislike about the product?
No programable logic development with the increased use of programable logic it is an import part of schematic development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work as a consulting engineer providing development services. In this space time is money wasted time is lost income. Altium support helps me to minimise my lost time.
Altium Designer help my business to grow
What do you like best about the product?
Altium Designer help me to manage my hardware projects and speed the release of documentation for the PCB production and PCB assembly. The tools and 3D protypation decrease production error and reduce drastically the time to market.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope that Altium consider to release in very near future a version for Windows on Arm and Apple MacOS. Also tools for iPhone and IPad are missed, that can help work.

Altium Designer help me to manage all the project and production process of electronics product and also permit to release and simply maintain documentation for the PCB production and PCB assembly.

Altium has a few quirks related to snapping components that could be a bit more precise and fine controlled.
