The best out there
What do you like best about the product?
All the features are combined in one easy to use application, especially the really useful MCAD integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the amount of options available can be a little overwhelming, especially to new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PCB design for boards that interact with a mechanical design component are made much easier with Altium Designer.
One package for complete PCB Design
What do you like best about the product?
Altium help to complete the PCB designs without error. We can found most of the errors during the design as well as DRC.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rules priority not works some times. But, works good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software give good support.
Very nice software that has some annoying issues with Bugs.
What do you like best about the product?
Altium offers me a fast, efficient way to design boards for my work as an employee and for my selfemployment/freelancing.
I especially enjoy the fast work speed possible because of the great user interface Altium provides and the collaboration features that seem to be growing by the day.
The announced wiring loom design feature that is supposedly coming now is a very nice additional feature that I am very looking forward to.

What do you dislike about the product?
Altium has been relying heavily on an old codebase in the past. I don't know if that is still the case, but it certainly feels like it. It would be nice if Altium would spend more time fixing bugs instead of only giving out new pricing models and/or new features.
It's annoying if the software crashes out of some cryptic reason, which leads to you losing a few minutes of your work (thank god there is autosave).
Also, we have to talk about the pricing. It feels like it is getting more expensive all the time, but the quality and speed of development don't increase equally.
And why do I have to pay extra for essential features like the PDN Analyzer, but get stuff that I don't want for "free", like the FPGA features?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am designing automotive products for the railway industry and general IoT devices. Altium offers a comprehensive package to suit all my needs. Additional features like draftsman help a lot in documentation, which is made easy and quick with Altium.
Very impressed and grateful
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Altium 365 is the fact that it allows me to have all my work, libraries, and other files available to me no matter which PC I am at. Bonus is the ease with which your work output can be shared with others, even if they themselves do not have Altium Designer. This is the sort of power and convenience I have been waiting a long time for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't yet found anything I dislike about Altium 365, though I am fairly new to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Ability to work from work, home, or on the road with all my files and no thumbdrives or emails.
- No more multiple versions of what should be a single version.

Excellent support and a joyful application to collaborate and design pcbs with
What do you like best about the product?
I have been thoroughly impressed with the software. The schematic development environment is top-notch, making it easy to design and document circuit diagrams. The PCB routing tools are also fantastic, allowing me to create accurate and manufacturable layouts with ease. But perhaps the feature I appreciate the most is the ability to collaborate with my team members. Altium Designer includes a range of collaboration tools, such as real-time design synchronization and team collaboration features, which have made it much easier for us to work together on projects. Overall, I highly recommend Altium Designer to anyone in the PCB design industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a user of Altium Designer, I will admit that the learning curve can be steep at first. However, the software's excellent documentation goes a long way in making the learning process easier and more enjoyable. The documentation includes a range of resources, such as tutorials, user guides, and online communities, which provide valuable guidance and support. While it may take some time to become proficient with Altium Designer, the thorough documentation makes it well worth the effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a user of Altium Designer, I have found the software to be an invaluable tool for product development. The collaboration features, such as the online viewer and offline editing capabilities, have made it much easier for my team to work together and ensure that we are always working from the most up-to-date designs. The ability to view and collaborate on designs in real-time has been particularly helpful, as it has allowed us to identify and resolve issues more quickly. Altium Designer has truly been an integral part of our product development process, and I highly recommend it to any team looking to streamline and improve their workflow.
Great experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like the documentation and how easy it is to design new schematics and pcbs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you need to learn how to do things but once you know it, it's pretty straight forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm implementing projects and learning along the way.
Electronics Engineer, PCB Layout Engineer, CTO
What do you like best about the product?
Closely coupled libraries management, schematic capture, simulation and PCB layout that maximizes efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhat heavy and sometimes slow responding even on top PCs as well as lack of support on other platforms (linux/macOS)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Close coupling in design combined with powerful ERC/DRC checks minimizes chances for design errors. My design errors have been reduced by at least 15% since transitioning to Altium, even without fully utilizing all features.
Modern, fast, collaborative PCB design software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to get started, simple library management, clean project structure (not thousands of files with different extensions for each pad or via hole as in Allegro)
What do you dislike about the product?
support seems to be a bit slow in fixing critical bugs (needs to go through BugCrunch and you have to convince the Altium community that the bug is important, this is a no-go for me)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
designing everything from simple PCBs, to multi-layer designs, to printed electronics
Altium Design the way for success
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing in Altium Design:
The Schematic design with block and all this stafe.
The control impedance and the excellent view of 3D.
The interface is so easy, and there are many open projects you can found it.
Also, many big companies use Altium for HW design.

What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest
Altium is the best hardware design I used in my life.
But I think you can update, for example, tools for calculating like a buck, boost..., and some recommendations for DDR4 or DDR5 design.
