Boost your engineering team
What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to the use of ValiSpace, the System Engineering tasks, such as the definition and monitoring of the requirements and the creation and monitoring of technical budgets, are easier to perform and, even better, are more visible to the rest of the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface tool is not useful. It would be much better if some specific parameters or documents could be attached to the interfaces (links).
The tool has a problem with refreshing, and very often it is necessary to refresh the page manually in order to see the last changes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The definition of requirements, the relationship between them, and the monitoring of their compliance have become much easier with this tool.
The team has much more visibility of the system engineering documentation, and the model can be used as a single source of trust.
The management module is also very useful for the monitoring of current activities, through the use of the tasking and scheduling features.
The availability of variables associated with components (the parameters that define the model) is very powerful to compute some quick analyses during the early stages of the program.

Easy to share libraries/PCBs
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing libraries and PCBs in Autodesk Eagle requires using git or library.io, which are difficult to use.
With altium 365, sharing libraries and PCBs is very easy.
There are no complicated operations and no need to install source tree with Eagle.

What do you dislike about the product?
- I have a problem with my edited files sometimes not saving correctly to the server.
- I can't check Altium365 in the browser on my iPad.
- When viewing the PCB 3D in the browser, I can only rotate the PCB and cannot use the key bindings available in Altium Designer.

No more need to install non-CAD software such as sourcetree to share PCBs and libraries with the entire team.

System data & requirement management centralised
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use: all engineers are able to use it quickly out of the box. It is easy to add/copy elements and link between requirements and system data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool does not support branching: with branching, it would be easier to track baseline and handle change proposals. This would allow us to check changes and implement a process to accept them and bring them to baseline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All data is centralised and we can link them together and create a single source of truth. Especially the link with requirements makes this very valuable, as we always have the latest information in the spec.
It is really a great SW for aerospace engineering.
What do you like best about the product?
The whole way, how Valispace is structured. Sum of children, modes, dependencies etc. I was even able to build a warehouse within it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calculations and updates take sometimes too much time once the structure is bit more complex.

We needed some place where to design our system and this is just the right one.

The fact that everything is packed in the same app, and It is constantly updated and visible to everyone.

What do you dislike about the product?
There a lot of bugs that can only be detected by carefully analyzing each data, ad it makes me double or triple check each action. Also I would appreciate a better integration with Word and Excel to be in line with the company's template
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making easy to implent and iterate on new projects using a template with the main aspects we use in the project, yet this could be improved further with a database-like option

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to relate concepts from project engineering and governance gives us the confidence we're on track and the data to prove it.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, it's the lack of understanding of what I could do with the CLI API coding interface. Some real basic-level introduction videos to that would help me.

Ability to coordinate the scope of prooving a complex new product should pass due diligence

A fundamental routing tool

Exceptionally easy collaboration tools and properly documented features/tools

Altium 365 can be quite slow to connect to the servers that it requires to function

Altium 365 allows for fast development of PCB hardware while collaborating effectively with team members
Streamlined and easy to use interface. Recommended it to several coworkers sucessfully
What do you like best about the product?
Interactive routing, labels on the nets. Seems like simple features but they make work flow so much better than with the older ECADs we used at my firm. The internal parts library works wonders as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. The UI can be confusing to use at first but it becomes easy to use fairly quickly. I was used to using a command line like in Eagle CAD but got use to the new system quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Forward backward compatibility with the MechEs. It's super easy to push models between out teams whereas before we would have far too many numerical erros introducted in file exchanges.

I have use altium from last five years, Altium UI makes the difference from other tool , it's very user friendly and lot of tutorial available on internet.
What do you dislike about the product?
If altium can make the bom management better than existing.

Production file management like job file & assembly file & variants makes essay the production with different different varieties in process.
