Altium 365 importance in my work.
What do you like best about the product?
Altium 365 plays very important role in my work as i use this software to learn and implement my skills of how to make PCB, FOOTPRINTS, SCHEMATICS ,ETC and implement also its have many features like footprint wizard, 3D mode , etc . This software makes my work easy and helps me a lot . It is easy to use and reliable . and customer support is also good they provided me student license to use and learn .
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes i get stuck in many place like in footprint makjng because in Altium some footprints are not available so i have to make them by myself
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Altium 365 is providing me a platform to learn and practice my PCB designing skills and it also provide learning portal to educate me and help me in any problem which occurs while using this software
Altium has proved to be a strong ECAD tool for electronics product development
What do you like best about the product?
The seamless integration between schematic, PCB, and version control tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve and occasional UI quirks slow down new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Altium 365 solves the problem of PCB design workflows by centralizing schematics, layout, version control, and library management in a connected environment. This allows for an improved collaboration aspect, reducing errors, and accelerating development.
Powerful Cloud‑Based PCB Collaboration with a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
Real‑Time Collaboration: The cloud platform lets multiple designers and stakeholders review and comment on schematics and PCB layouts simultaneously, eliminating version‑mismatch headaches.
Centralized Data Management: All design data—including libraries, version history, and supply‑chain information—is stored in one place. I never have to hunt down the latest file.
Built‑In Supply‑Chain: Part availability, lead times, and cost tracking live right alongside the design, so I can catch procurement issues early.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limited Offline Access: When I’m traveling without reliable internet, I can’t review or comment on designs unless I remember to export them beforehand.
Initial Setup Complexity: Getting my team’s permissions and folder structure dialed in took longer than expected; the admin UI can feel overwhelming at first.
Pricing: Some advanced collaboration features (e.g., enterprise analytics, fine‑grained user roles) are only available in higher‑cost plans.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross‑Discipline Collaboration (ECAD MCAD Firmware)
Problem: My mechanical team and firmware developers need accurate board outlines, pin‑outs, and net lists to mount PCBs inside the robot chassis and assign GPIOs in code. Exchanging exported STEP and CSV files via email is error‑prone and slow.
Benefit: With Altium 365’s unified project workspace, MCAD models and BOM data sync automatically with the latest board revision, while firmware teams can pull down up‑to‑date connector assignments straight from the cloud. This tight integration cuts days off our iteration cycles and avoids mis‑wiring bugs in the lab.
Disparate Design Data & Version Control
Problem: In a multi‑discipline robotics project, schematics, PCB layouts, firmware mappings and mechanical models often live in separate repos or file‑shares, leading to “which revision is the latest?” confusion.
Benefit: Altium 365 enforces a single source of truth with built‑in versioning and branching for ECAD projects. I can instantly roll back to a previous board revision if a new change breaks my sensor interface

Finding good example and help nad training online
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many details that need to be understood
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing complicated multilayer PCB without any donflict
Programmatic access to data like components and projects.
What do you like best about the product?
It has been helpful to build custom integration or automation tools. Also has git like versioning for PCB design. In development we have been using ECAD software licences to review schematics, PCB layouts and BOM's
What do you dislike about the product?
API might not expose to all internal functionalities that dev might want to automate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can integrate this with PLM systems, Jira and other connectors.
Best tool for designing and with great options in mechanical
What do you like best about the product?
It is an amazing software for working with PCB designs in real time. it is very easy in switching between design boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The library has great options. However there are some Git errors while modifying PCB
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has mainly helped me in Mcad. The data can be easily pulled from electrical team. This allows us the electrical team to rectify the design errors while we export the PCB design.
All rounder software for all kinds of electrical, electronics and even mechanical CB developments
What do you like best about the product?
It has impressed me with its integration with any ECAD or say MCAD.
I am playing around Few features and liking them - Circuit boards units power testing, analysis. Etc.
