Excellent Modern EDA Tool for Every Designer
What do you like best about the product?
Altium 364 easily allows us to share designs and schematics between both our ourselves and our production operatives.
Design review and release is effortless and the online component library makes managing parts used in our designs a breeze.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to keep track of who has the latest version of the data if multiple people are working on a project.
A better way of locking files so that people don't overwrite each others work easily is needed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing people to collaborate while working remotely is the greatest benefit. Keeping a record of changes and release data in a central database helps avoid errors.
As you would expect from Altium, an intuitive and seamless experience with many additional benefits
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to send out links to other colleagues and the ease at which reviews and collaboration are carried out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to say there is nothing that I don't like about it. It is constantly improving with each new release and has become a part of my workflow.

Allowing others without Altium, to be able to access my work seamlessly and the ability to leave comments

What do you dislike about the product?
I think Altium 365 could benefit a lot from an integrated, Trello-like project management tool. Combine it with the comments. Also, integrate it with Altium Designer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick hardware design for small quantities. I can save an insane amount of time with the new part management (cloud, schematic reuse, manufacturer search).
Working on the cloud has made it very easy for me to work for my customers.

How easy it is to install it and set it up. The ability to add comments and share projects with other is a big help for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are too slow, but I guess that's part of working on the cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a library on the cloud and the ability to share the entire project with my customers and have all the comments on the same platform.
Good but costly
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and very user-friendly. Complications while designing can be reduced to an extent

Price. Way too costly. Compared to other brands it is on the higher side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many in built functions to avoid the most common mistakes while designing. Have good tool to analyze expected board performance.
Altium Nexus from the admin perspective
What do you like best about the product?
The customizable workflows and processes and the component database. In general this extra way of customizing our design proceses
What do you dislike about the product?
The Nexus client is still buggy. They release a new version very often just to fix bugs, I have the feeling the SW is not widely tested before release

It improved our team cooperation, our components database is much better organized now
User Friendly and Easy to Learn
What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly and easy to create designs for PCB Boards. It was the first time I started learning Altium for my University Course but I found it very easy and a great tool for designing various components and chips.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion finding a 3D-model to design footprints is sometimes hard on the internet there should be also a way to find 3d models easily so we can design our components much faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Altium designer is cheaper compared to other softwares in the market and it can handle upto 5000 components so its a very big deal and the software is also very famous in companies across Austria. It is also great for students who are starting to learn PCB Designing. It also has design rules which helps to ensure we don't make errors while making the schematic or the layout design.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend this product to others who are just starting to learn PCB Design or whoever wants to learn PCB Designing as it is very user-friendly and easy to learn. You can also find a lot of support from Altium if you are stuck with some problems on the forum or support.

it is the best of the PCB design where student can easily learn PCB like it is actually work in professionalism and become expert in the PCB design

Limited period of license for student and expensive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is some desktop resolution problem, if I work in 14.7" inch laptop vias size different and if I workin 17.9" desktop vias size is different which is making serious issue if I store my work in cloud then next time work on different system.
Friendly CAD
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to understand the features, easy to work with and you can learn it very fast. I used it for PCB modifications and exporting the ODB++/master drawings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still has some bugs inside him, unfortunately. At the ODB++ generating, sometimes it misses some components files. The same experience is when you try to generate a table, sometimes the information is not the one that you were expecting to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it mainly to create new versions of the existing PCBs or even new designs. Also, some people use it for layout inspection. For sure the business performance increased with it because it is easier to start working with Altium instead of Mentor, for example.

I like the ability of Altium to make it easy to collaborate on designs with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features in on-site hosted Altium Nexus are incomplete, such as the ability to create tasks from comments left in designs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to create workflows, shared libraries, and have non-electrical team members comment via web interface.
