Migrating from Mentor with ease
What do you like best about the product?
There is a ton of videos, explanation and the documentation is very done. The software is easy to use, I use on a weekly base doing review with a large team of engineer.
I love the home page and learning center section with easy access to the community and support. The educational videos are well made and the host Zach Peterson is great ! The implementation of the vault is pretty straight forward using the documentation and the 365 web access to share design between team is a must and the possibility to joint the PCB and mechanical in the same software is simply awesome.

What do you dislike about the product?
Integrating part libraries from a different software can be difficult or from previous version and requires some work to be imported correctly without errors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a large team of engineer all around the world and we are working on multiple aspect of the product CAD, PCB and mechanics. The cloud base Altium 365 is great in our context.
Simple to use and all in one
What do you like best about the product?
Altium allows me to easily bring the design files to a manufacturable product. The integration with Draftsman and the AutoBOM allow for manufacturing documents to be made with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times that the sheer amount of possibilites within altium can become confusing and difficult to utilize. It may be a training thing, but some menus are difficult to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for us to build in house PCBA designs, integrating the schematic, pcb, and manufacturing files all in one.
Altium designer software is very user friendly and advance
What do you like best about the product?
Short keys, libarary, Altium training video also provided in there side, altium designer website
What do you dislike about the product?
There is issue in cam document, when you import panel Gerber file there is issue generated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cam document
Great CAD tool
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Altium is its intuitive interface, powerful design tools, and seamless integration for PCB design, which streamlines workflows and enhances productivity, making complex projects manageable and efficient to execute.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Altium is that it does not allow modifying PCB library footprints directly from a design. It should enable opening the original logic symbol or footprint and updating it seamlessly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design all sort of modules
A great assistant for PCB layout engineers
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Altium 365 to design the schematic and PCB of communication module products. For our platform based design, Altium 365 can quickly modify the schematic and export the PCB. We use it almost every day in our work. For complex designs, it can also be divided into different modules for design and is easy to integrate. Experienced engineers rarely make mistakes, which ensures the delivery of our products to customers. Even if there are problems encountered during use, customer service personnel can patiently help solve them。
What do you dislike about the product?
It's also related to my own software usage ability. I think setting PCB routing rules is quite complex and involves some programming, which may not be very user-friendly for beginners. However, after learning and proficiently using it, it will be much better. Of course, I still need to strengthen my practice
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use Altium 365 for the schematic design and PCB layout of our products, as well as the output of design and processing files. It is an indispensable part of our product development and production
A super smooth and intuitive app
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is super easy to use, I could spend hours and hours using altium without getting stressed. I totally recommend
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if there would be more brands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Altium 365 has completely changed the game for me in PCB design. Having everything centralized in one tool makes the whole process so much smoother and more efficient. I used to waste time juggling between different programs and files, but now everything I need is right there at my fingertips.
10/10 Platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Upsides using Altium designer are many as per experience. The features that I found useful for our projects are 3d view of boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Great support from team.
All good.
Easy to use.
All good.
Easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simulation of newly designed circuits.
Right now, the best tool for creating printed circuit boards
What do you like best about the product?
The power and simplicity of use, without being burdened by its origins as happens to other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all other electronic CAD tools: the lack of a component definition standard and a standard file that would allow easy exchange of board designs between CAD tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design of printed circuit boards for their integration into our products.
I was previously an experienced Cadence Orcad user but found teh transition easy
What do you like best about the product?
I found it easy to migrate from Cadence. Customer support was good when I needed it on one occasion. I use it most days and when I need to find out about a new feature tehre is plenty od on line help. It works well with my CAD package as it can import DXF and step files. I was up and running in a few days from cold.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far it has all been positive experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As well as design tool we use its cloud storage which is a great benefit
Improvable experience
What do you like best about the product?
Integrated and customizable environments
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of bugs and customer support not always efficient
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Schematic and PCB design
