All in one PCB Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like having it all in one place for the design. The best part is having a lot of users and having multiple resources. Also, Altium has a wide variety of training resources which makes it more friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes its crashes when loaded with multiple files. It has some weird issues that are not repeatable but will get fixed by closing and opening the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
day-to-day schematic and PCB design for multiple projects. I like addons flexibility which makes the job easy. It all in one software.
Great for project viewing.
What do you like best about the product?
It is very convenient to view and check projects using only a browser. No powerful computer required. Very handy for team work. Allows you to check and discuss projects from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, there is no way to make changes to the project. You have to run AltiumDesigner to do this. I would like to add the ability to make at least minimal changes in the project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can check projects at any time. I don't need a high performance computer for this. All you need is a tablet. This adds flexibility to my work. I would like to see the opportunity to leave notes to the project, and to its individual places. Perhaps it would be nice to add the possibility of discussions.

As a unified and connected platform, Altium eliminates the classic problems of manual synchronization between different design tools compared to other software.
It is a very complete and feature-rich EDA software that facilitates and speeds up project development.
Updates always bring new features that expand the limits of the software and add a lot of value to those who use it.
It is possible to create projects with a high level of detail in 3D, in addition to allowing to work together with mechanical software very efficiently.

The price of this tool's license and subscriptions may be unaffordable for self-employed people or even small businesses.
The autoroot present in the software has its limitations and low efficiency in my opinion.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool added a lot of value to the company where I work.
I have been working with Altium for over ten years. And in my career, it was the work tool that evolved the most and helped me evolve. Over the years, project costs have been getting smaller and smaller as Altium has focused a lot on creating increasingly agile resources.

Easy Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like how all of the projects and library components can be viewed and accessed in one listing instead of needing to look for them in the typical Windows file format.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bugs, but they have been getting fixed. Bugs are never fun. Usually I can find a way around one, though. And, some things are much easier to accomplish through the web access than through the Altium application on my computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of collaboration. I no longer need to email everything to the people that I am working on a project with. The search functions in A365 make it much faster to find what I'm looking for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have been using Altium since it first came out and it is still my preferred platform. The ease of use, abilities, response from support make it the best from my experience. My background is in a service bureau capacity and I have used many other platforms over the years. There have been many times I have needed to do something in a different program and was not able to, but I was able to accomplish my task with Altium.

The ease of sharing projects with my team and looking at my projects from the browser

sometimes I have issues with the repository and how Altium handles all the project files

I am solving the issues of where to keep files on our servers and getting others to see the projects in one place.
I use A365 to share design with other engineers, for review and documentation purposes

user friendly, easy to navigate, easy updating straight from Altium Designer.

Not possible to change layers colors and configuration. Some bugs in software - not showing microvias.

Good platform for reviews of designs, no license needed.

more flexible viewer options - layer colors, switching between layers
Taking ECAD into the 21st century
What do you like best about the product?
Quick checking of things related to the design not only on my work computer but on any computer or even my phone is handy. This capability helps when not working on the design itself but during review or designing other system parts.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the main downsides for me is that multi-board support is missing. Multi-board is a feature we use a lot in Altium Designer, but you cannot see the interaction between boards online.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration has become a lot easier because I do not have to fire up Altium every time I need to know something.

Sharing made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing designs with consultants and manufacturers is really easy. Reviewing files together is now a walk in the park. I also like to be able to highlight a component in the schematic and directly see it at the PCB layout. Or vice versa.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have a comment field attached to the design as well, where you basically describe the design in a few sentences. Now I have to use the speec bubble comment within a design, and that is not optimal for these kind of descriptions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When all consultants are using Altium 365 i now know that I always have access to the latest version of the PCB design. Before we used sharepoint, and engineers "forgot" to upload their designs.

I am yet to explore all features in the latest version 21.6.4
However, the below suggestions might help
1. the addition of a strong PI and SI analysis tool would help
2. Size of backup files - there should be an option for "Auto-clean the backup file" - e.g. after x amount of days, the Altium backup will get deleted - maybe something like user can set it

1. A closely integrated tool with Schematic & layout
2. In today's scenario, the component availability is an issue - with Altium, while selecting a component, we get to know the availability in real-time
3. Easy interface and training are readily available; hence it is helping in resource development

What do you like best about the product?
Altium 365 Workspce, where my colleagues don't need to install altium but still having access to PCB Layout and schematics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Altum 365 Worksapce don't provide integration of the project with Windchill.

Many benefits like centralization of the component library, project, access to Altium project through web-browser, thousand of online component available with Symbol and footprint,
