Relatively easy to get started
What do you like best about the product?
Overall I like it as it is, and how it works. There's lots of short-cuts and not so many icons. 3D view is well working and a lot of good output options. There's pretty good Help by pressing F1 and lots of small "how to" videos
What do you dislike about the product?
In general I like to work on grid, and Altium sometimes doesn't work as expected in that matter. Especially when parts already routed is moved. But it might be a matter of setup

Not solving problems as such. Just doing layouts to the projects I'm involved in. No benefits that couldn't have been acquired by other pcb design sw

Compared to other pcb layout systems I've used I find it very easy to get started. But it helps if you've got experience from other systems. You know what you're looking for and have an idea of where to find it
Altium designer is an amazing tool fairly similar to PCB with multiple functions.

What do you like best about the product?
I would definitely recommend the Altium Designer highly to my friends and colleagues. After learning other similar softwares which were complicated and restricted usage, I started learning Altium Designer because of the fact that majority of the companies had started working on this. Once I started I could easily figure out how to use this software. That's how easy it was.
What do you dislike about the product?
Generation of Netlists was the only thing I didn't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design of multiple layers was really easy and simple. The layout would be really easy to design.

Best software for PCB design in the market that I had used
Great tool to integrate all steps in one including schematic, layout and fabrication
What do you like best about the product?
DRC rule checker helped me clear issues quickly. Compred to other tools, this made life easier by highlighting and showing issues in a very efficient way. Another thing I love about the tool is that at an academic level it made collaboration with my teammates very easy and the file structure was very easy to understand when sharing files with professors and peerz alike
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the components being placed were a little confusing due to the setup. The toolbars can be setup more intuitively to make design quicker also can have better shortcut options. As while big designs it becomes somewhat tedious to use the toolbar and i would much rather prefer small key movements on my keyboard.
Another thing I would like to see improved is just the startup experience, it sometimes takes a while to lod up. This maybe because of my backend server issues or altiums startup scripts but fixing this would greatly reduce the down time

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing PCB boards. Greay reduces time to move from schematic to layout to fabrication. With high frequency PCB Design the main thing is to tun simulations as well on the PC board stack up to ensure good isolation and minimum cross talk and with altium running simulations on my design was made extremely easy as well
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is fairly similar to ither PCB Design tools, the same setup and same layout. Only thing that is better is the rule checking so good luck as it makes life easier. If you are using this solely for schematic then i would use some other tool, but if this is being used for the complete board design then this product will make your life much easier

What do you like best about the product?
The very best PCB program in the marketplace is actually Altium Designer. I love the software most since it allows you to layout, edit at the convenience of yours and mimic everything you're presently performing with very little margin for mistake, which means you eventually have an exact outcome of what's required for the work of yours. What do you dislike about the product?
The program itself does not have serious errors and I've absolutely nothing bad with it. It's absolutely no faults, but a pc which operates complex simulations with absolutely no faults is exactly what it takes.

A good advanced tool for PCB layout.
What do you like best about the product?
I like it because it is an easy to use tool and with many advanced features to design it has been absolutely amazing to send the PCB fabrication service online without any hassle, it goes well with everything and its set of tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not noticed any serious problem, however we have had problems with some functions that are somewhat difficult to use, but it is not serious, the only thing is that its price seems very exaggerated, but I could say that it is worth paying it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a great help, we are totally satisfied with this great tool, being able to use it for multiple functions and being able to design professional PCB and diagrams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a tool that I would recommend to anyone in an electronics environment in a large scale company, because it is easy to use and very good for PCB design.
I use AD to design PCBs. It is the best software I used so far.

I love how easy it is to generate files of the design on the outjobs.

It has bugs, and I wish it had a feature to use the same footprint and schematic symbol with different manufaturer part numbers.
