Best PCB design Software
What do you like best about the product?
There are plenty of things I like about Altium Design.
1) UI of software is nice
2) Feature Provided by Altium is really nice
3)Custom library option
4)Autoroute option is really amazing, works really fine.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive. Student can not afford if they would like to use.

I was design PCB for Power Circuit Board.
Powerful software but has bugs

Powerful integration from component selection through schematics and PCB layout.

Bugs pop up randomly and tech support has declined recently.

Best PCB designer on the market
What do you like best about the product?
Altium Designer is the best PCB building software from scratch on the market. What I like most about the software is that it allows you to design, edit at your convenience and simulate everything you are doing at the moment with very little margin for error, which means that in the end you have an exact result of what is required to the work. As manager and part of the IT support team, I use this program a lot to supervise the new schematic designs that our engineers build for us and I must say that with little knowledge in the use of Altium Designer, I can navigate it easily, which says it is a very powerful tool and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software itself does not have any serious errors and I have nothing bad to say about it. It does not really have deficiencies, but what it does require is a computer capable of running complex simulations without glitches. Device must be prepared for large PCB infrastructure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like all PCB design and implantation programs and electronic schematics, they solve and interact with the designer (in our case IT engineers and technicians) to create electronic boards and use them in our company. The simulation system is very precise, this benefits us greatly since before building the electronic boards we already have a good idea of the behavior and obviously everything must be well done beforehand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For all those curious users who are looking for a program for PCB design and implementation, I highly recommend Altium Designer since it is the best of its kind and allows you to do everything you have planned in the best way and with the highest quality, from university to large implementations in any type of companies. In addition, it has its 14-day free trial, which makes it a very attractive software for testing and subsequent use.

So far there is nothing that I find bad or strange in this software, their technical support is impressive and they are always there to help you with whatever you need
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to the implementation of Altium in my company we have attacked problems that previous administrations had been causing in terms of PCB projects. We have also managed to reduce the waiting times for the execution of projects by 45%.

I recommend Altium Designer to all my colleagues in the industry and I know that this tool will be very useful to them.
Doing PCB layout is easy now.
What do you like best about the product?
The program lets you gain knowledge the PCB layout very easily and also provides videos and materials for learning. Very user friendly. It facilitates 3D vision mostly and we show clearly how to change PCB on the mounting. The Altium interface principles are easy to learn and recall. Altium makes frequency connectivity with equivalent length very easy for multi-layer. This fan out that saves a lot of time instantly. It also allows multi-track dynamic routing at the same time. Generating Gerber is very simple in this app.
What do you dislike about the product?
So many glitches for Altium. Such problems on the bottom edition should be fixed. Occasionally bugs cause major problem in low version design once I produce schematic pdf to eliminate all netlabelling so it's a big issue when I share pdf for schematic checking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This supports 3D molds to set the PCB in its fixture and that we can layout all types of PCBs with the original mounting elements. Endorse for the production of the PCB step document with all 3D elements helping design the attachment.

It is rather expensive but that doesn't matter due to functionality.
Full-featured, but buggy
What do you like best about the product?
Altium (currently on version 19.1.5, but I've used it since it was AD10) is a one stop PCB design solution, so you don't have to export from Altium Schematic to import your design into Altium Layout. Everything is contained in one solution. It has lots of good features (length-tuning, design rule interface, BOM manager). It also has good support for 3D (step file import / export). Altium is very flexible and very powerful; I have yet to encounter a design or task that Altium could not handle in one way or another.
What do you dislike about the product?
Altium's product team seems to focus more on getting new features out, rather than making old ones more robust. Consequently, Altium likes to crash multiple times per day. The license manager is a joke. Our team shares 4 licenses, and sometimes one person will manage to accidentally grab all 4 licenses when simply turning on Altium for the first time in the morning. Multiple contacts with Altium's support team has yet to fix anything but the most minor of issues. It's analysis features / packages are severely lacking. There are almost too many ways to manage your library of components, which makes working between multiple designers extremely difficult unless you have a very robust process in place.

PCB designs of all shapes, sizes, and technologies.

It's a great program for designing PCBs when integration with a 3D MCAD program is a must. Consider your top priority, be it 3D integration, simulation, cost, or something else.

When project is too heavy 3D visualizations slow down the application and may cause the computer to crash
Altium has a giant library (but something is always missing), has a VHDL compiler for FPGA design (via source code or schematic), has a 3D plate rendering scheme (I haven't had a bag of learning to model yet) component in it), in addition to sewing back and forth, button buttonhole, congestion cure, shed, rescues fgts, cancels card, brings husband back and discovers cuckold, just use the program with faith that the rest is up to him.

BEST software for PCB layout design
What do you like best about the product?
Altium is the best software for PCB layout. It supports most off all PCB layout software file conversion that will really helpful to switch to Altium software. the most likely 3D view of 3D components that will use to make enclosers and we can analyze the design.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software provides signal integrity but that is still some problem so please develop that part. still the cost is too high for purchase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can design schematics, I can do placement add custom shape of PCB and do a layout to generate Gerber output for PCB manufacture.
Beginner PCB designer
What do you like best about the product?
Altium Designer is approachable and intuitive, easy to learn for beginners like me
What do you dislike about the product?
For some advanced use is a bit less flexible than expected and sometimes you can get some error without a good explanation on what the problem is

My entire work is actually based on design with Altium, i've upgraded some old CAD file using altium
