Easy PDF Editing and Templates That Keep Document Work Fast and Consistent
Reviewed on Jul 16, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I often receive PDFs from clients for design approvals, quotations, and project requirements, so being able to edit them without converting the file is what I find most useful. Adding text, marking changes, inserting signature fields, and sharing the updated document can all be done from one place. I also like using reusable templates for documents that follow a similar format, which saves time and helps keep everything consistent. The interface is easy to understand, so even occasional document tasks don't feel complicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform covers most document tasks well, but working with large or heavily designed PDFs can sometimes take a little longer than expected. I would also like to see smarter AI features for extracting information from forms and organizing document content automatically. That would reduce some of the manual checking before sending files to clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using a single document platform, I usually had to switch between different tools to edit PDFs, collect signatures, and send final files. That made even simple approval workflows slower. With pdfFiller, I can update project documents, send them for signatures, and keep everything organized in one place. For design proposals and client paperwork, this has made the process more structured and reduced the time spent managing documents instead of focusing on the actual project.

I really like that pdfFiller allows us to sign documents online so we don't have to print them out. It's very easy to use, and I can do just about anything with a PDF. It's nice and quick, helping me get things done and get them published and out efficiently. The setup was very easy, and I appreciate that it resolves the needs that caused us to move away from DocuSign.

There's a bit of a learning curve. If you take the time to learn it, it does everything that you need it to do.

I use pdfFiller for creating and adjusting PDFs, sending them for signature without printing, and it's easy to use and quick. It handles anything I need with a PDF efficiently.

Keeping every PDF task in one place has simplified my workflow

What do you like best about the product?
One of the first things I notice is how easy it is to edit PDFs that would normally be a pain to work with. Updating text, adding images, creating fillable fields, or getting a document ready for signature only takes a few minutes, and I can do everything straight from the browser. More than once we've had to make last-minute changes to a proposal right before sending it, and being able to update it without downloading or converting files has saved us a lot of unnecessary stress. I also end up using templates all the time. A lot of our contracts, proposals, and onboarding documents are almost identical from one client to the next, so instead of copying old files and hoping nobody forgets to update something, we just fill in the fields and move on. It saves time and cuts down on those little mistakes that always seem to sneak in. I also like how easy it is to share documents, send them out for signature, and keep track of where everything stands. Instead of wondering if someone has reviewed a contract or signed a document yet, I can check the status in a few seconds. Having editing, OCR, eSignatures, redaction, and LinkToFill all in the same platform means I rarely need another tool to handle documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only area where I'd like to see more progress is AI. The current tools are useful for filling out forms and speeding up a few editing tasks, but I think there's still plenty of room for smarter data extraction and automations that reduce even more of the manual work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One thing I deal with on almost every project is everything that has to happen before development can actually move forward: contracts, approvals, change requests, onboarding forms, and all the other paperwork that needs to be completed before anyone starts working. For a long time, that part of the process slowed us down more than it should. Documents kept moving between emails, people were reviewing different versions, and keeping track of what was still pending became harder than it needed to be. We eventually moved that entire workflow into pdfFiller using templates, fillable forms, and eSignatures, and the difference was immediate. Clients receive a link, fill out the information, sign the document, and everyone on the team can instantly see what's completed and what's still waiting without sending reminder emails or checking in manually. I remember one project where all the paperwork was finished several days ahead of schedule, so the development team was able to start exactly when we planned. Since then, I've realized that keeping the administrative side organized is just as important as keeping the technical work organized.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that pdfFiller is easy to use. I can create custom stamps effortlessly, and the colors I choose stay as defaults, which is great because with other programs, every new document would revert to the default color and size. Setting it up was super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lately it seems to be glitching a lot and I have to close and re-open to be able to upload or download a new document. The recent slowness/reloading is a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use pdfFiller to grade and annotate student assignments with check marks, X's, text boxes, and highlighters. It keeps my custom stamp colors as defaults, unlike others.

What do you like best about the product?
I can alter pdf documents and can get my clients to sign my contracts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The verified signature date isn’t shown in the UK format (dd/mm/yyyy), which is important when I’m signing legal documents.
Also, there’s no measuring tool. I work with architectural drawings, and it would be really helpful to be able to measure the height and width of a drawing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to redact documents is really useful, especially since Adobe charges a fortune for it.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that pdfFiller is cloud-based, allowing access anywhere, which really suits my needs. It has very powerful features, especially the robust electronic signature feature, which I find incredibly useful. I appreciate how easy it is to collaborate with my team members within the same organization. The platform even allows separate sections for personal files and teammates, providing a secure and personalized experience. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward, with plenty of tutorials available to help get started quickly. I also enjoy the integration capabilities with Google Drive and other applications, which work quite well for our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is just the desktop app experience. Many people still would like to have a desktop app. So that's just the only thing. Aside from that, Cloud Volley still works for me. But the desktop app would also be nice to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use pdfFiller to manage and send documents for electronic signatures, saving time and ensuring security. It lets us store files on any cloud and send them quickly across different locations, reducing time from weeks to minutes.

User-Friendly and Intuitive, But Needs Improved Form Editing

What do you like best about the product?
I think pdfFiller is user friendly and very intuitive. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just dislike that when I tried to edit a fillable form and also ask for signatures, it wouldn't let me slide the signature and initial field over to the text boxes. My workaround was that I saved it as a PDF, non-fillable, and then I uploaded it again, and added the initial boxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
pdfFiller helps with document PDF editing and managing signatures.
