Out with the Old, In with the New
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to source, validate, and stack multiple signal(s) to hone in on your ICP and engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform itself can be a bit challenging to learn should someone be new. However, once you understand how the flow works it's all a filtering system. Should this person do X then comes Z, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Predictable Revenue model has now officially been outdated.
With access to information and internal lower-based employees having a say of yay/nay to solutions; it's a buyer-led era. With CommonRoom, you're now able to hone in on precise targeting to help generate pipe.
e.g. You have a list of 100 contacts, would you rather reach out to someone who downloaded a white page; OR, target someone who was on your pricing page 5 times + follows your company's LinkedIn page + engages on key target topics?
with CommonRoom, you're now able to do so.

Great help with aggregating community users and identifying opportunities
What do you like best about the product?
Commonroom has been a great help with aggregating community users from various sources and helping identifying opportunities.It has a nice UI as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's missing some functionality for tying the data into other adjacent tools (e.g. behavioral data with CRM)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps with lead generation and visibility.
Powerful insights that help me meet the moment with key contacts
What do you like best about the product?
Common Room has been a game changing asset in my tool-kit as a CSM. It surfaces insights into key contacts at pivitol moments. It saves so much time on research/prioritizing my outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would enjoy a bit more intuitive navigation, particularly when enrolling in workflows to integrated apps like hubspot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Champion development / multi-threading
One tool for all relevant info
What do you like best about the product?
Centralized users and usage data. It ensures that no important updates are missed and keeps the team aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to be able to create customer health scores or engagement scores. Improvements in this area would make the tool even more effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer have to be logged into 8 different tools to see all the relevant information. This visibility helps us tailor our interactions and improve community satisfaction.
Prospecting 3x faster
What do you like best about the product?
Common Room makes it much easier to discover and prioritize users to reach out to. It offers better visibility into user activities and signals, indicating when they are ready for a research or sales call. It's saved a ton of time allowing us to see this information 3x faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the product is quite efficient, it could be improved with a 'suggested people to reach out to' feature. This would further streamline the process of identifying key users for outreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit is the ability to see user activity at a glance, including projects created, hours of product usage, and their most recent active date. This comprehensive view saves a significant amount of time, allowing us to access this information three times faster than before.
Pulse on Key Accounts
What do you like best about the product?
Common Room helps me get a pulse on accounts in my territory by providing buying signals across various channels. This comprehensive view aids in understanding customer behavior and interests. Either you'd have to build a sophisticated DIY project to achieve this or Common Room can make it a much more seamless process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I occasionally use Common Room. What's preventing me from using it more would be out-of-the-box features catered specifically to sales could increase its utility for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit is gaining insights into channels that I previously had no visibility into. This expanded perspective allows for better-informed decisions and more effective outreach strategies.
Get the full picture with data enrichment
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite is the ability to create segments based on buying signals for targeted outreach. It ensures that no important updates are missed and keeps the team on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to edit segments that have auto add/remove rules. Speed improvements in this area would make the tool even more effective.

Common Room offers valuable insights into prospect behavior within the Apache ecosystem. This information helps tailor my outreach efforts more effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Enhancing it by providing contact information for prospects would significantly increase its utility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Common Room offers valuable insights into prospect behavior within the Apache ecosystem that are otherwise difficult to find.
Automated Sequences for Seamless Outreach
What do you like best about the product?
I find it very easy to put people into automated sequences for mass outreach. The account research aspects are also valuable, although I often need to validate with the main data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Common Room can be a bit slow to use and doesn't always appear well-configured. This has resulted in a wide range of usage across the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Common Room connected all of our siloed user data into one place, which made it 10 times easier for sales reps to do outreach and find power users / executives. This increased pipeline generation meaningfully and reduced the laborious work of validating contacts.
Holistic View for Hidden Data
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to see a users behavior which allows me to create relevant content for outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't automatically remove everyone once they leave an organization

It brings together data from sources I would normally have to either check individually or have no visibility into at all.
