What do you like best about the product?
Easy to search and find customers and contracts

Collaboration was hard, user interface was outdated, multiple entries for customers

Pipeline management and forecasting
Lack of integrations with 3rd parties leaves lots to desire

Not enough integration with major 3rd party companies etc.

It is hard to navigate and track open accounts leads etc. lots of issues with duplicates. No built in dialer.

Our finance department likes the reports it generates.

Some of the steps are unnecessary and are duplicate when adding a new prospect or lead

Open Source and easy to use. Quite a few features out of the box.

Needed to hire a developer for certain customizations.

Sugar is a great beginning CRM
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customization of sugar quite a bit. There is seemingly not alot to it, and it is relatively easy to pick up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to other products, like SalesForce, it is a bit lacking. However it is cheaper. So that is understandable.
Also, the upgrade process is quite a pain and can be expensive compared to how much the newer version offers.

We use it as our total CRM. We track all sales opportunities both upsell and outside sales.
Clunky and hard to work with...

I like the mobile app. It’s functionality may be better than the web portal.

Almost all of it. There are some bright spots, but sometimes I feel like it is lip service.

A great way to produce data management
What do you like best about the product?
The SugarCRM is a free data management tool customizable the same way any other CRM is - similar to an Access database with the ability to use it as a data warehousing to GUI reporting interface. It's easy to program and setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited to small business functions and connectivity

Small business data management & reporting of performance from these data

What do you like best about the product?
The best for me was the sugarCRM dashboard, Where you can customize and create a widgets to your business needs and see all of your shortcut and reports in one place. Also, the workflow functions are easy to manage and create.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I like the least about Sugar is the lack of mobile features on the Sugar mobile app. It has the main quick creates of your client accounts, log calls and meetings, etc., but you are not able to create reports and workflows from within the mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems that I use with SugarCRM to solve is to keep all of my accounts and meetings calls in one place so that everything is organized. Also, It provides me with the capability of creating detailed report as well as keeping track of marketing automations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation is to others that are considering sugar CRM is to first purchase a limited number of users for the software, instead of purchasing and user for every employee. Also, Designate an administrator to learn sugar studio and create the automated workflows that was sued the company’s need.
