Great Customer Service and Amazing Library of Courses
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the variety of courses that are included in the Plus membership, and the ease with the integration with our LMS. One of our biggest issues with our previous LMS was the lack of content and the need to procure courses from multiple publishers; OpenSesame has made this process so much easier because we can now procure courses directly through them.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the biggest issues is sharing chosen courses easily - we want to encourage employees to find courses to add into the LMS, but there is no good way to quickly do this without creating an account. Another frustration is with our particular LMS, we are unable to bring over accurate durations, so that has to be changed once uploaded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company has used many different courses from OpenSesame from compliance and safety to leadership and soft skills. It has people more engaged and more interested in going into our LMS and looking for additional knowledge.

Gratitude for Great Content & Services
What do you like best about the product?
I personally like the wealth of good quality publishers that I have access to, which provides employees with a plethora of choices & styles to suit their needs. I love the fact that there are different looks & feel to appeal to a multitude of preferences. I also like the fact that we have a choice of duration's too - some employees like quick bite size learning & others love going deeper into acquiring knowledge that they can apply in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike. I would like to see more compliance courses for the European regulations & audience & I know that Open Sesame are always looking to partner with great publishers. I think then they will have the full holistic view which will appeal to even more organisations. In particular courses that focus on the Quality ISO standards for internal & external audits/some certification routes too as these are always a plus point. & further Health & Safety content covering a broader range of topics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Open Sesame content/courses are supporting the business in a variety of ways. During these unprecedented times they are providing access to learning to help remote workers. They are a great resource that employees can access right away from the comfort of their own home or office. Ensuring any mandatory learning required from a compliance perspective can still be completed within reason. Plus there is a multitude of content that employees can access if they choose to, to complete self directed learning.
Open Sesame is a well - rounded resource for professionals
What do you like best about the product?
Open Sesame is easy to use for the end user when searching the catalog; the pricing is reasonable and the customer service IS EXCEPTIONAL and quick to respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our organization is in large part a retailer. There are not a lot of courses for our store associates around the topic of retail merchandising. It's a hard topic for virtual creation BUT, I am asked at least once a week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Open Sesame has been a HUGE addition to our resources, especially during pandemic. We have used their resources to teach MS Teams to our head quarters population. We have also been able to build development requirements into our work performance reviews which are allowing us to train up our teams and grow from within.

The variety of content to suit all learnign types and so many courses to select from

Sometimes too many pieces of content - choice paralysis.

Quality content at a reasonalbe price to help or people develop skills and capabilities
Incredible Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
Open Sesame has the best customer support of any vendor I've worked with.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides to working with Open Sesame. They have incredible content and are always suggesting new ways to engage with our learners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Open Sesame provides relevant content in a timely manner. They save me time by offering the content so I don't have to try to source it myself. If a learner has an access issue, Open Sesame steps right in to assist.

We couldn't be happier with our Open Sesame partnership. And they continue to improve the platform and bring in new content!

I like how easy it is to curate content, review that content, and incorporate it into our LMS.

There is nothing that I can say I dislike.

We've given employees many options they have not previously had to seek professional development and improve technical skills.
Best e-Learning Content Provider
What do you like best about the product?
- It offers a variety of learning options and activities.
- It allows you to assess your progress using quizzes.
- It is very simple to set up lists and import them to your LMS.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is high competition between course creators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to continue our internal learning for our employees and capitalize more by using OpenSesame due to COVID-19.
Great selection of courses, excellent customer service.
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service is fantastic. They really try to add value, answer questions quickly, and are very responsive. The breadth of content is impressive and so far we've gotten very positive feedback on not only the variety of course offerings but the quality and engaging nature of the training, too. We've struggled in the past to get our team to engage with online learning but that has not been the case this time. I'm very glad we chose to go with Open Sesame and highly recommend them.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only quibble is that way you can only swap out a certain number of seats a year. But that's minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had another vendor that provided courses we needed to deploy quarterly for our safety program whose courses kept failing when loaded into our LMS. Open Sesame's courses have worked pretty seamlessly and reduced the number of issues we've had to troubleshoot considerably. We have a number of younger professionals who need training on a range of general topics, and their content offerings have proved really helpful. Finally, we deployed one of the unconscious bias courses recently to help raise awareness and it went over very well.

Use your account rep! They really do have great ideas and want to find ways to assist you.

The OpenSesame Team is always quick to respond to customer needs it solutions that help close the gap on learning needs. They listen to what is important to the customer, give actionable alternatives, in a friendly helpful manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were an option between 100 courses and all courses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have rolled out a new competency module this year and they are helping map courses to our competencies.

Map out requirements your organization has, give to the curation team, and preview the content to ensure it meets your needs.
