Automate, organize, save time

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to build the zaps. Super simple for anyone to use. Simply choose apps you want to connect and it walks you through building your zap.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the custom and advanced settings inside zaps can be a little confusing at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have mostly used Zapier to connect marketing tools that do not have native integrations, copy and paste data from one place to another to keep reporting in sync, and for organization tools like trello/calendars/basecamp etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
out of all the web app automation tools I have tried, Zapier is most user friendly and has all the apps that I have ever wanted to connect with.

Zapier Makes processes simpler!

What do you like best about the product?
Zapier is the link between so many software solutions, it can help teams automate tasks that use to have to be so manual (unless you're a developer and can develop integrations). Most of us aren't developers and don't know how to get information in one system to feed into another. Zapier is our solution!
What do you dislike about the product?
Still a new company, so apps are still be added. The more, the better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
automating what used to be manual processes for us.

My favorite new tool of 2017

What do you like best about the product?
Zapier is honestly the best new tool/service I found in 2017, and possibly in several years. It has saved tons of hours of development time by giving us an easy and reliable way to hook together multiple APIs. They have an easy to understand - yet customizable - system to build "zaps", which are automated tasks. They're able to generate useful reports on your tasks, including the data that goes in and out of the individual APIs, and also shows if any tasks failed and why. And yes, it's reliable. This service wouldn't be worth if it the automated tasks weren't reliable, but they are.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike. Some of the API integrations are limited with the triggers they provide. That's probably the only complaint I can think of. Just keep expanding your integrations and options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier has saved us a lot of time and energy. It has helped us with many automation tasks, such as emailing new customers, updating mailing lists, verifying charges, tracking where customers came from, generating internal reports and updating our back-end database.

Endlessly useful

What do you like best about the product?
Speeds up a lot of more complex requirements we have in the marketing team by enabling us to build more integrations ourselves without having to wait for development or external resources.
Really love the new Zapier internal apps like formatter and filters - makes zaps almost function like little computer programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really - only issue we find is that some partners have less complete integrations than others, so sometimes you can't build things out quite as you expect.
One thing I do wish we could have is the ability to make different branches to a zap (ie rather than a filter just saying continue/stop if we could send down different paths based on a filter)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating systems across different parts of the business. The integration work would normally take a lot longer and cost a lot more if we didn't have access to Zapier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jump in and get started! It's almost addictive, once you start, you'll find all sorts of things you'd like to automate!

What do you like best about the product?
I like how incredibly easy it is to automate my data transfer! I would normally spend days and days transferring data in Trello but this made it easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how data gets corrupted at times as well as the fact "can I trust that all the data was transferred properly"? Because their reporting and tracking is super easy to verify
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automate and transferring data. Many, many hours of work saved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can imagine it, you could probably solve a problem with Zapier

Good data exporting platform

What do you like best about the product?
The steps it takes you through to set up data exporting is easy to follow. Also it is very quick to set up a new zap.
What do you dislike about the product?
More functionality would always be nice, ie setting up multiple zaps at the same time. And integrating with more platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
exporting data from platforms to google sheets. Also data from email inboxes to google sheets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you do a few test runs of the zaps you set up to get familiar with the process. Sometimes data would zap in unexpected ways.

Integrating services has never been easier!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to literally connect apps within minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don't have any dislikes. Functionality, pricing, and support are all top-notch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For the multiple websites I run, I need to be able to send data between multiple services. Zapier allows me to setup automations without the need to program something custom.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many copycats trying to compete with Zapier, but don't be fooled. No one can compete with the number of integrations, ease of use, pricing, and support.

Timesaving and simple automation

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Zapier takes different programs and ties them together, creating smooth workflows and interactions that would otherwise require several steps to accomplish, thus saving TONS of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback is that some programs I use have not yet been included in the huge list of Zapier programs. I'm not too concerned, though because at the rate they add new programs, it's only a matter of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running an international events calendar website requires a lot of cogs to turn to stay current. With Zapier, I add events to an Airtable base, and those events automatically get added to the main calendar, from which other calendars pull the info to put onto our website. When others submit events, Zapier sends them a nice email thanking them, and then adds the event to our Airtable database, which then moves it elsewhere appropriately. It saves me HOURS every day!

What do you like best about the product?
Almost everything about zapier is great, easy interface, very user friendly, and easy to use. The customer service is amazing and more than helpful. They usually even respond fast on the weekends!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the longer wait time on some apps like "SurveyGizmo". There is not one other thing I can think of that I dislike about Zapier/
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier is the trigger to all my business automations. Connects all the different tools I use for me.

What do you like best about the product?
With Zapier you don't need to do hours of programming for linking one service with another. Even without having a technical background you can create zaps that will connect 2 or more services that you use with each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limits that they have on the number of calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to spend less time on integrations programming.
