With Zapier, Anyone Can be a Programmer
What do you like best about the product?
Connect things that wouldn't normally work together. Save on the cost to hire a programmer to connect two things you use together. Zapier works with tons of different websites and apps. Super easy to use and master.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could integrate with more things. Zapier already integrates with lots of stuff, but could be more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving email contacts from one ESP to another. Importing new sales from Shopify into Google Sheets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! Zapier makes it easy to connect two things together.
Zapier makes me happier
What do you like best about the product?
That it automated a time consuming function
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost for the premium apps to connect. Maybe do a minimal cost share across many apps instead of charging so much for a select few.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time savings is the key with zapier
Hugely versatile with huge potential
What do you like best about the product?
Removes the need for tech and is incredibly easy to use, with many platforms offered and a huge range of actions. That's made multiple teams move faster without needing to rely on dev/tech to create the same functionality. It's also easy to edit and update.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like the platform (not Zapier) is responsible for setting up their integration, so if you're stuck with a limited platform your changes of getting them on Zapier is also not great.
Also, probably for the same reason, the FAQ/documentation for specific integrations is usually very light and not in-depth enough to give you the info you need. This usually means you have to contact support for both Zapier AND the platform, which is time consuming.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting multiple platforms together instantly to add new web leads to SalesForce, send new customers to BirdEye to request reviews, alert teammembers in Slack when a new lead/request/action is taken.. and WAY way more.
All without using up valuable tech/dev resource (which also means you don't have to wait for them).
Multiple business departments are using it, including those who aren't tech savvy.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If a platform you're working with is considering Zapier, actively give them feedback on what actions you want them to integrate in on your behalf. Zapier is still pretty new, so you have an opportunity to shape what they work on to your benefit. I had success with SendGrid on this.
Zapier is the perfect solution!
What do you like best about the product?
We have implemented a Zapier connection for Assessment Generator so that our customers can connect their assessments to any of the over 1000 services Zapier provides. So if you want to add your assessment taker's contact information to, for instance, Aweber, you just create an account at Zapier, connect it to your assessment and you have your list.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything I've used works for me. I would like to see more examples.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting assessment user information to contact management services. I also connect my blog to automatically display on FB and LinkedIn every time I write a new blog post. Saves so much time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I recommend it, especially with Assessment Generator which is how I mostly use it.
Excellent automation tool
What do you like best about the product?
I can connect different apps and automate the whole process from someone signing up to sending out thank you emails and integrating them into a certain list. Zapier has hundreds of apps you can connect with each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot encrypt my surveys as Zapier is unable to read the information to add to my email list. I have to leave my surveys unencrypted. That leaves open some vulnerabilities for me as encryption is an extra security measure, especially for a cybersecurity company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I could not integrate my survey app with my email marketing I used Zapier to connect them so when someone fills out the survey their information gets added to my email list.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There should be an app for everyone to connect with Zapier. It is an excellent workflow software.
A lot of integrations and functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the huge list of possible integrations
What do you dislike about the product?
That there are 5-15 minutes between zaps. Would of cource have been nice to have them instantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With integrations to Intercom, Mailchimp and Pipedrive, we have made it easier to follow our user journeys
Great integration tool for web apps
What do you like best about the product?
It fills in the gap for difficult API connections, allowing faster more effective web app development that scales with high uptime and performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing, except maybe that sometimes you can't find a Zap for obscure services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting API's using relationships.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It can be a great connection tool, but sometimes it is more cost effective to roll your own solution in-house.
Zapier is Amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the multi-zaps and all of the integrations!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a bit hard to find what you are looking for when integrating with everything that they have to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation and taking me out of doing everything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As with most programs - you get what you put into it. Make sure you use it! It will save you time (and a ton of it)
Great Solution for Sharing and Compiling Form Submissions
What do you like best about the product?
We use Zapier primarily for compiling and sharing form submissions from users of our products into Google Sheets. I like how easy it is to use and compile information. We literally use Zapier every day across many departments. It does what we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit of a learning curve. If you're not familiar, it might take a little while to get used to using it, as it's not something normal people use regularly. Only a few of our staff know how to use it efficiently. For example, you need some background knowledge about how columns sync with Zaps in Google Sheets, and if you change anything slightly, it will delete information. But this shouldn't scare anyone. It's really a good solution that we use all the time. Just make sure you have people that know what they are doing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a way that all of our staff and customers can view public information without giving them too much login credentials. Zapier has helped us transfer information instantly without having to give to much info to the public.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend that you don't have too many people in your organization using Zapier. It could complex things if too many people are using it. Limit to just a few knowledgeable people that know the basics. But it's not hard to learn and get started. Definitely a must-use solution for most organizations out there.
Connecting the dots
What do you like best about the product?
Zapier picks up where a lot of SAAS products leave off. This is by far the best go-between I have found for automating processes between multiple programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of revisions. After updating to try a different solution and failing, you have to build the original from scratch. Also, the user interface is not my favorite to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Updating new clients from our CRM into our accounting program. We also print product labels after a client approves a product for production.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great solution for connecting multiple SAAS platforms. The webhook features make almost anything possible.
