Best business workflow automation app EVER!!
What do you like best about the product?
after reading Tim Ferris 4 hour work week, I looked at all my process and needed to save time and work smarter. I hunted high and low to find out about web hooks and how to build them. I then found Zapier!!! The best part is really its ease of use. It is SO easy to start and Zap and work through the interface and refine / construct what exactly you want to happen. The list of apps you can connect is growing every month. The additional work flow is fantastic and enables even greater flexibility. One Zap actually saves me 80 hours a month in data entry time. AMAZING!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike when my zap doesnt work. That's usually my error. I am being very picky but I would like even more channels and even more flexibility of process. But I know the team at Zapier will make it happen. Its grown so impressively over the last 2 years its brilliant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Administration. Data entry. Parsing of information. Back up, Reminders etc all on auto pilot. All tasks that are repeated the same way, more than 5 times are automated with Zapier. Our processes are run on auto pilot. Saving me time to do the more important parts of my day job.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
More accounts to connect to and greater functionality within these accounts. More video tuition and helpful hints and tips video library "showing you". Otherwise you are pretty perfect.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the number of software connections that zapier offers. Too many to name
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the dashboard layout. Clicking into different folders is one step too many
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it with intercom and Infusionsoft to update members information with tags. We are also using it with pipedrive to automate our sales process and sending of emails

What do you like best about the product?
Zapier enables non-technical folks to connect various apps. I was able to set up a "zap" between MailChimp and Intercom. Works like a charm. Support was fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
It did take quite a bit of time to set up properly. It isn't automatic. Lots of back and forth with Zapier support over the course of a week, but they hung in there with me and made it work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed to move customer properties (the fact that they signed up for a webinar, the date they did it) from Mail Chimp to Intercom. No more downloading from one app, uploading into another. Saving us time!
Works well to automate marketing initiatives
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up and use immediately. The ability to test also makes it so you don't need to continually log in to make changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Linking with google calendar did not work very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to automate a lot of our marketing efforts. Zapier cuts down on the time we need to spend on small tasks.
Don't burn your Dev time - do it yourself
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple it's easy to use and best of all in couple of clicks you can do what you need. No coding skills are required and no dev team on standby. Support team been able to answer every single complicated question we had and so far we are thrilled using solution.
Price tag is also great value.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some integration which just work one way and it's extremely problematic to have to way synchronization. Usually you are forced to push that through another app and back to where you wanted it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We cut mutliple dev hours on getting things done on our end just the way we wanted having limited coding skills. At the same time application saved us hundredths of hours of manual work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It will save you huge amount of dev time especially if you want simple task/problems to address. If you want two way synchronization try using free plan to give it a try.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to automate workflow from one app to another, specifically from GrooveHQ to Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a coder and some of the triggers are a little confusing for me.

This has been a huge timesaver when it comes to automating some of our data flows from one app to another.

Minimal usage with the HubSpot integration
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the product to use it specifically how your company needs it to function instead of being constricted to certain formulas. We used this when running an event in Eventbrite.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some programs were not available to integrate with. I am sure some have been added since I last used this program though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were solving a data quality problem. When you are running an event or otherwise in a program outside of your CRM software or Marketing software it's vital to pull that data in to keep it all in one place. This product saved us a lot of time since we didn't have to transfer data.

Try it out! It's easier than it look when you get started on the function that your company needs to use it for.
Zapier - great for business and personal
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability for a small business to be able to automate certain business tasks. I've used zapier for two different careers. First as a restaurant general manager, and it helped to automate communication between myself and my management team. The second career is as an insurance agent. And being a one man agency, using zapier has helped with organization and filing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about zapier, Previously, composing zaps required a little bit more time but Zapier has made creating zaps much easier with their user interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned before, automating and structuring communication between myself and my team was one of the greatest benefits that I have realized. Also, keeping my business organized using zapier has been great.

When starting a new business, zapier can truly help you to systemetize your operations. By taking the time to compose a zap you are understanding the steps involved in your processes and this will help you to be a better operator.

The learning curve can be tough. Would be helpful if someone from your organization had prior knowledge so you don't always have to rely on support.

Try and have someone who has already used Zapier as part of your team so you don't always have to rely on support. Also, be prepared to watch YouTube videos to learn.
