A Powerful Integration Platform That Greatly Extends Our Product’s Reach
What do you like best about the product?
As a developer building both triggers and actions, what I appreciate most about Zapier is how it empowers our customers. Through Zapier, they can easily connect our triggers and actions with hundreds of other apps and platforms, greatly expanding what they can achieve without needing to write code. Zapier also simplifies the adoption of our API endpoints—users can configure and use our integrations directly through Zapier’s UI, which significantly improves the overall user experience.
From a developer perspective, I really enjoy Zapier’s Platform UI. It provides a clear and intuitive interface that makes configuring triggers and actions straightforward. I also remember that during our first submission for Zapier approval, the review process was fast, and the reviewers provided many helpful resources and guidance, which made the onboarding experience smooth and positive.

What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge we still encounter is how Zapier handles more complex API payloads. Some of our endpoints return deeply nested JSON objects or arrays, and these structures are not always straightforward for Zapier to inherit or represent in trigger/action field mapping. While it’s manageable, better support for complex data structures would make the development and user configuration experience even smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier helps us solve the challenge of enabling seamless integrations for our customers without requiring them to understand or interact with our API directly. Many users want to connect our product with the tools they already use, but building and maintaining custom integrations for every platform is not scalable. Zapier fills this gap by providing a unified automation layer.
By offering our triggers and actions through Zapier, customers can connect to hundreds of other apps through a simple UI instead of writing code. This reduces the support load on our team, improves adoption of our API, and allows customers to create automation workflows that match their unique business needs.
For our development team, Zapier also reduces the complexity of building individual integrations. We can focus on improving our core product while still giving customers powerful automation capabilities. Overall, Zapier helps us deliver more value with less engineering overhead, and greatly enhances the flexibility and usability of our platform.

Very happy with this software
What do you like best about the product?
We mostly use Zapier to automatically transfer data from our donation platform to Salesforce and Mailchimp. This eliminates the time consuming manual data uploads and keeps our data current in real time. I like the platform and it fulls a big need in our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is the implementation was difficult for some platforms because it required several steps to set up correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The current donation platform we are using has no built-in integration with other platforms. They suggested Zapier and it really was the only option. Once in place, this 100% automates all incoming donor info to both SalesForce and Mailchimp eliminating the need to do any manual uploads.
Essential Automation Tool for Every Skill Level
What do you like best about the product?
Zapier truly acts as the glue that keeps my business running smoothly. In my experience, it offers as much complexity as the user requires. Beginners can easily create simple workflows, while more advanced users have the option to dive into the underlying code or even add their own customizations if necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that can be challenging is the up-front learning curve. It takes a few hours to get comfortable navigating everything and learning the terminology. That is to be expected with any robust software that is worth using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have fewer manual steps during my client onboarding and servicing. All my databases are kept up to date with fields relevant to my workflow and I have peace of mind that I am not missing opportunities.
Effortless App Integration That Saves Time
What do you like best about the product?
This tool makes it easy to connect all the different apps we use, saving us time and effort. It's very useful because it allows you to link two separate apps together with minimal setup. Overall, it's an excellent tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost can add up if you need to perform many actions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We connect so many apps that I've lost count. This tool helps us every day by streamlining our work, making our workflow smoother, and significantly reducing the amount of manual labor required.
Unbeatable Value for Streamlining Funnels and Automation
What do you like best about the product?
It's helped us streamline all our funnels, at a cost so low it is negligible. We manage all automated communication from lead generation to client intake.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing lol. Even the AI is very helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were missing out on leads because our call center didn't reach out fast enough. Now with Zapier, all initial contact is automated, on everything- Facebook, website leads, etc.
Effortless Macro Setup with Intuitive Drag-and-Drop
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy way I can set up macros without needing to know how to code. Very drag and drop and plug and play.
What do you dislike about the product?
You (or Microsoft) deprecated the Microsoft Ads connection for reports. That was an essential vendor I was hoping to get access to set up alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to get timely alerts of my ad spend by the hour. Zapier allows me to set up push notifications to Slack so I don't have to login to each ad platform to and see the spend.
Removes tasks I used to do manually and it works... Every time!
What do you like best about the product?
The main thing I like about Zapier is that it runs reliably after set up. There was a little but of a learning curve to get things working exactly how I wanted but, once tweaked, it just runs. I use zaps to transfer information between different systems. ,, Multiple systems, actually. I spent some time learning and tweaking and then discovered there waas already a pre-made option that performed a function I was seeking. Between the pre-made options other people have worked out plus the countless integration options, I am able to sync information between systems to streamline my work and automate a task out. super useful and incredibly reliable so far after multiple months of running.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just like any new system, there is a learning curve. Zapier provides a wizard type AI helper to help along the way. Beyond that, there is lots of documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to automating tasks with zaps, I was having to do manual copy/pasting from one system to another so that I could send messages to customers. Zapier helped remove a tedious manual step and now it just works. I don;t even have to think about that task any more. I've been finding far more advanced options that this opens up too. Really looking forward to digging in further and automating even more.
Easy way to create custom systems and custom tools for your business.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use. And because it's easy to use, it's very economical, as it allows me to connect multiple tools without paying for an additional tool or paying a developer to implement custom solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found that a lot of the integrations have limited "action" options, like I can easily integrate tools but there will be a limited list of things can be done. I'm not sure if that's actually a Zapier thing or if it has to do with the tool it's integrating with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zapier to connect tools and create custom systyems for my small business. This benefits me greatly by allowing me to create custom systems, products, etc. without having to pay for additional tools or hire a team (which is just not an option at this point in my business, so Zapier really helps make things possible at this stage in business for me).
Making Your Day-To-Day Tasks Simpler With Zapier
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use, especially now with the AI-assist features. You can describe what you need, and the AI will preset everything for you. Zapier is honestly a lifesaver, allowing you to automate tedious and repetitive tasks with ease. It's the best tool to use for lead generation. It keeps me and my clients updated in real-time.
Whenever you need assistance, their customer service team is always ready to help. They reply fast and are always very helpful.
Whenever you need assistance, their customer service team is always ready to help. They reply fast and are always very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. The only thing I'd note, maybe, is having a better time and date format when updating a lead's subscribe date. Just a simple MM/DD/YY would suffice; the signup time isn't as important. They may already have this feature, and I haven't explored it yet. Again, it's a very minor thing. I'm overall happy with the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There's a lot to mention. For starters, sending new lead email and text notifications to myself and my clients as soon as a new lead opts in. Additionally, the lead's information is added to a Google spreadsheet, which aids in organization and facilitates our clients' follow-up and sales strategies.
Wish I had discovered this sooner...
What do you like best about the product?
Zapier is the invisible backbone of our automation stack. It allows us to connect everything from Stripe to Google Sheets to Slack with zero engineering time, so data flows seamlessly between marketing, operations, and product. What I love most is how quickly I can prototype and deploy new workflows - one hour in Zapier can replace days of manual integration work. It’s reliable, intuitive, and scales with our growth. For a small team trying to operate like a much larger one, Zapier is a total force multiplier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main limitation is cost and scalability at volume. As automation counts grow, pricing can escalate quickly, and debugging complex multi-step zaps sometimes requires trial and error. I’d also love to see more flexibility in branching logic and native support for real-time data syncing rather than polling intervals. That said, those are trade-offs I’ll take any day for the speed and leverage Zapier provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier has completely eliminated the need for manual data entry and repetitive admin work across our startup’s ecosystem. We use it to connect our website, CRM, Google Sheets dashboards, Stripe, Calendly, and Slack - so every new signup, payment, or call automatically syncs across our systems. That single source of truth saves hours of manual updating and drastically reduces human error.
For us, Zapier bridges the gap between marketing, sales, and operations - turning what used to be disconnected tools into a cohesive, automated workflow. The result is faster response times, better customer tracking, and the ability to scale processes that would otherwise require extra headcount.
