Fast OTP Delivery and Easy MSG91 Integration

What do you like best about the product?
Our software product uses MSG91 for login verification and alerts. What we found most beneficial is the speedy delivery of OTP, which makes the login process more seamless.

We found the integration aspect to be appealing as well. The initial setup was completed reading the documentation which does not take much time as connecting SMS API from the backend was easy. When we manage backend with Supabase then we did not face any major issues adding MSG91 here.

Furthermore, you can monitor which OTPs have failed or been sent, which is useful for troubleshooting – another good feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard UI is not very friendly. Looking for some things takes a while, especially in the reporting section.

Although the delivery is mostly on time, there are delays that you will notice while doing OTP verification. In fact, they haven't always responded right away. In some cases, I have had to follow up.

The pricing structure is easy to understand, but the cost rises sharply with usage which makes long-term forecasting somewhat precarious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier, we tried administering the OTP on our own which resulted in inconsistent delivery and issues with gateway handling.

Since we have started using MSG91, we never had to worry about external SMS infrastructure anymore We merely utilize API calls, and they carry out the OTP. The system undergoes a significant reduction in the development effort and is easy-top-maintain.

The user verification mechanism has stabilized, as failure rates have decreased. It’s always reliable but may have some delays.

Fast, Reliable OTP Delivery with Smooth Shopify and Zoho CRM Integrations

What do you like best about the product?
I work for a medium-sized e-commerce business (team of around 51–200 people), and we mainly use MSG91 for OTPs and order updates.
What I liked most was the speed of OTP delivery most of the time, it reaches users within 2–3 seconds. This means there are no hassles with the login or verification process. The dashboard isn't very complicated; even new users can quickly get to grips with it. We integrated with Shopify and Zoho CRM both integrations went very smoothly. Our developer didn't need much time to set up the API. Once, during one of our sales, traffic suddenly increased, but message delivery remained stable. This was important to us because, at that time, if the OTP failed, the conversion rate would have dropped.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although everything is generally working well, there are still some issues in certain areas. Occasionally, OTPs are delayed for some numbers, especially in remote areas. Although it's not a huge issue, it is noticeable. Another thing is that some of the reporting options on the dashboard seem a bit basic, if you want to carry out a detailed analysis, you have to export the data and view it separately. Support is generally fine, but it takes a bit longer to get a response at peak times.
I think it would be good if the support team's response time was a bit faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have problems with OTP delivery; the codes would often arrive late or fail to arrive. We can now send OTPs quickly using MSG91, which has made the user login and order confirmation processes much smoother. As a result, the pressure on our customer support team has decreased, and our conversion rate has also increased slightly.

Smooth API Integration and Centralized OTP & SMS Messaging with Fast Deliveries

What do you like best about the product?
We mainly use MSG91 for order updates, OTP verification and customer notifications. What we found most helpful was being able to manage multiple communications from one place - both OTPs and transactional SMS messages. This means we don't have to maintain separate services. The API integration process was smooth for us. The development team managed to set up the basic flow in a very short time. In particular, it has become easy to trigger order confirmation SMS messages. Another positive aspect is that deliveries are fast most of the time - customers receive updates quickly, which has led to a slight reduction in support queries. You can track issues by checking the logs on the dashboard, which is useful in practice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface of the dashboard is not fully intuitive. Finding some options can take some time especially the first time around. The reporting section must be focused clarity. The delivery will not miss an OTP or notification that needs to be delivered urgently. Although, at times the delivery is getting delayed in most of the cases it’s good. At first the pricing was something we could manage. But as we started using it more and more we found it becoming expensive. The support team is helpful, but not always on time. I had to follow up on several occasions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past, we used separate tools for notifications and OTPs, which was difficult to maintain. We had separate integrations and separate tracking - overall, it was very complex. Since we started using MSG91, we have been able to manage all our communications from one place. As a result, the backend has become simpler and maintenance work has been reduced. The order notification flow has improved - customers are receiving updates more quickly, which means we are receiving fewer queries about 'order status'. Although there are occasional delays, the overall process is now more organised than before.

Fast OTP Delivery and Easy API Integration with MSG91

What do you like best about the product?
We use MSG91 within our SaaS app for user verification and system notifications. What I like the most is the OTP delivery speed. Most of the time the users get the OTP within a few seconds. This helps to keep the onboarding flow smooth.

Integrating the API was easy. The SMS API setup was done in no time by our development team and the documentation is clear. You can look at the logs that show the SMS sent and failed from the dashboard.

Moreover, in addition to OTPs, we can also send transactional alerts (like account updates or payment confirmations) from the same platform, which has multi-use support. This means you will not even need to use a different tool, thus simplifying the workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, I found the dashboard to be very annoying. The interface is filled with many options but I do not need to select all options. The organisation in the reporting section should be a bit more clear and more organised.

Generally speaking, it is quick but may have delays. Messages may not reach the delivery channel (user’s mobile) which hampering OTP flow. User is unhappy and said code delivery was late.

In the beginning, it was affordable but after that, the price skyrockets as the long term planning doesn’t get easy when gets breakdown. The feedback you get may not be fast. You may occasionally have to follow up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, we used separate services for OTPs and notifications, which was cumbersome to manage. Maintaining integrations and tracking delivery - everything had to be done in different places.

Since using MSG91, we've been able to manage OTPs and transactional SMS from a single platform. This has simplified our backend and reduced maintenance.

In particular, there's been an improvement in the user verification flow. There used to be more delays and failures; now the success rate is comparatively better. This has slightly increased the sign-up completion rate.

However, not everything is perfect-delivery delays mean we still need to have a fallback for critical cases. Even so, overall it has made our communication process much more organised.

What do you like best about the product?

What do you like best about the product?
Having SMS, email, and WhatsApp all in one platform makes it much easier to plan and run campaigns. The analytics provide a clear view of engagement across each channel, which helps me understand what’s working. I also like the flexibility to create targeted campaigns based on what I need. On top of that, the usage-based pricing is a helpful option.

What do you like best about the product?
MSG91 allows us to automate order confirmations, shipping updates, and post-purchase follow-ups via SMS and WhatsApp. The automation flows are flexible, and delivery tracking gives our operations team confidence.
