What do you like best about the product?
I use MSG91 for its reliable message delivery. I like how easy it is to integrate the APIs, which simplifies messaging across channels without complex implementation. I also appreciate the multi-channel support across SMS, WhatsApp, and email that simplifies communication workflows. MSG91's reliable delivery ensures critical messages like OTPs and alerts reach users on time, improving trust and engagement. The integration process was straightforward and quick, thanks to clear documentation and simple API onboarding that made it easy even without extensive technical support.
What do you dislike about the product?
A couple of areas that could be improved are more advanced built-in analytics reporting and more transparent pricing tiers for high-volume use cases making it easier to plan and optimize costs. MSG91 could enhance its pricing for high-volume use cases by offering clearer volume-based slabs, custom enterprise plans, and upfront cost visibility for SMS and WhatsApp usage.

MSG91's pricing is friendly and economical, making it a good fit for my needs. Additionally, I find the subscription, WhatsApp integration, and onboard assistance beneficial, making things easier to manage. Overall, I find it a reliable service that meets my expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was confused about the Phone Number Tab, specifically regarding the use of international numbers. It needs a clearer explanation that international numbers are for API Testing purposes only.

MSG91 helps with subscription management, WhatsApp integration, and offers onboard assistance, making implementation easier in a short time.

The product offering, security and usability of the platform and the methodology of OTP service is excellent. It is easy to implement and integrate. The support team is proactive and quick to respond and give easy to implement resolutions.

Nothing about MSG91 is bad. It is a very good platform.

The ''Segment to campaign" feature allow us to group student and send tailored SMS/WhatsApp with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
The monthly quota reset timing is sometime confusing (UTC vs local).

We send class cancellations, event reminders, exam schedules. Using MSG91, faculty no longer has to manually text each student . It's saved hour per week in admin work and improved attendance
