Simple Integration, Clear Docs, and an Active Support Team
What do you like best about the product?
The product integration is simple. Helper documents are easy to understand & the support team is very active.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product interface could have been better. Analytics especially for whatsapp campaigns could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of whatsapp OTP with SMS fallback mechanism & whatsapp marketing.

What do you like best about the product?
I find the dashboard of MSG91 easy to use. Also, the guidance provided by Pratyaksh sir has been really helpful for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I got messages in the template, but the variable didn't pass due to a version issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use MSG91 for SMS and WhatsApp API to solve the problem of sending SMS messages efficiently.
Easy to Use but Slows Down at Times

I find MSG91 easy to use. It was very easy to set up.

Sometimes it is slow, particularly when receiving OTPs.

MSG91 helps us verify users through OTP and is easy to use, though sometimes the OTP takes time to receive.

Handling SMS and WhatsApp from a single platform without much hassle is a big plus. The automation of customer communication and ensuring messages are delivered quickly and reliably at scale are features I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard can feel cluttered, pricing is not always very clear, and WhatsApp onboarding approvals take time. Improving UI simplicity and pricing transparency would help a lot.

What do you like best about the product?
MSG91 is easy to implement and integrate with our scheduling system. Pricing is affordable and transparent, which makes cost management straightforward. SMS delivery is reliable and messages usually reach users on time, which is important for reminder notifications. The platform is simple to use on a daily basis. Customer support has been great overall. Karan was very responsive and helpful whenever we needed assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes webhooks do not get delivered properly, and in a few cases it is not very clear why an SMS failed. The error details could be more descriptive. That said, some of these issues can also be due to carrier-side problems, so it is not always in MSG91’s control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MSG91 helps us reliably send SMS reminders to users for scheduled bookings. It solves the problem of timely user notifications without adding complexity on the implementation side. Because delivery is reliable and pricing is transparent, we can run reminder workflows daily without worrying about failures or unexpected costs.

The APIs are reliable and scalable, the documentation and support are helpful, and it handles large volumes of messages with low latency, so we don't have to worry about managing separate services for SMS, WhatsApp, or email.

Some parts of MSG91 could be improved the dashboard can feel cluttered and confusing at first, some advanced features aren’t very intuitive, and occasionally message delivery reporting and pricing details could be clearer
