Enterprise level security now with advanced features at an incredible price point

  • August 01, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The addition of passkeys has been an essential improvement. Along with that, the security alerts have assisted me in the last month with updating possibly compromised passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX, although very light, feels slightly outdated and could probably do with a refresh.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden as a backup vault for all of my passwords from various other password services (Google, Samsung, iCloud). Because of the open-source nature of the service, I have a greater level of trust in the security of the product. For that reason, I chose Bitwarden as the backup for all my other services.

Interesting Password Manager

What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration with macOS, Chrome/Brave Browser, iPhone, and iPad. This password manager is compatible with Apple Keychain. I like the password generator tool. I like I can organize my password in folders: like work, personal, finance, education, fitness and other stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the synchronization feature because I have to remember to sync the bitwarden app on my other devices first, so, I don't like this issue; I don't know if it is a feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From where I am standing, it is a password management tool. It allows you to care less about your passwords, bringing to you strong password generation and keeping it organized.

The best password manager, Bitwarden.

What do you like best about the product?
I like its ease of use, the ease of easily generating strong passwords, its compatibility with other platforms, its wide range of features, and two-factor authentication options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no reason to complain, Bitwarden is a very safe platform, with low prices, very attractive design and a free level with all the functions available to everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden offers an interesting free level, which allows us to synchronize all our passwords on all our devices completely free, in addition, its paid version provides secure storage in the cloud, as well as more sharing options and 2FA.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Bitwarden is one of the best password managers, works really well, improves our online security, offers 2FA identification, cross-platform accessibility on any device, is available in almost 40 languages, is low cost, the Directory Connector feature is amazing, integrates seamlessly with Active Directory, Google, Okta and others.

Great for password management

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to save my passwords via the browser extension. Really saves me time!
What do you dislike about the product?
That you have to remember your master password, otherwise you are really locked out of your account! It would be nice to have a forget your master password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great password protection and easy to generate new ones!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend you have trainings for the whole company on how to use the password generators, etc.

Try it today! This is the Password Manager for me

What do you like best about the product?
Remember only one password from here on! 4 awesome features are my favorites:
1 With true strong End to End Encryption (E2EE), you can rest easy that all your passwords, sensitive documents, addresses and more can be conveniently and securely stored in:
2 a simple browser extension or native app on any operating system.
3 the interface offered is simple and easy to understand without compromising the robust and powerful security.
4 Open source, auditable by any security expert to keep the team honest and robust.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike but I'll reach for some:
1 I'd like a simpler plausible deniability vault: one that looks like its my only one but only has some innocuous social media passwords etc. that CANNOT see any other vaults which may hold more sensitive material
2 I'd like more robust session management understanding tools, and an ability to ask for immediate notification of new login attempt that is outside my normal parameters - ESPECIALLY if they have my master passphrase but lacked my Yubikey (or other MFA) - but come to think of it, notify me when theres a brand new successful login on a new device/extension/browser etc. too!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1 The need to remember multiple passwords
2 the need to securely store info and synch it across devices
3 the need to securely share passwords/access with collaborators
4 a way to allow team mates or spouse or others to recover my logins if I am incapacitated
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it today! their free plan is powerful.

A very good password manager

What do you like best about the product?
It's free, transparent, it works well across multiple platforms, is very secure and is very configurable. The premium option is also very cheap and competitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't always correctly identifies passwords/usernames and the autofill integration isn't always seemless. Also the identity should include expiry and issue date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to only remember 1 password, allows for cross platform password management and allows me to share password through vaults. It's also safe!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Let's start by the fact that's it's free. It's by far the best ans safest password manager. The premium option is also very cheap. It works across mltipel platforms and allows you to share passwords and files (premium) securely.

The needed software for all

What do you like best about the product?
Bitwarden now suppots passkey management, through which the login process is more smooth yet secure compared to other options. Also the email alias support is best feature that any password manager may have.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sharing feature still doesn't have anything in control with user. For example if I have option to add my key to encrypt the data being shared , it will give more confidence over default key provided by company for the sending file or password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First thing first, Remembering passwords for all my accounts and securing them with unique password with highest difficulty level is the core problem that Bitwarden has solved for me.

Creating and managing strong passwords securely made easy

  • May 26, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It makes logging in to services much more easier. I used to reuse password, now I have strong passwords everywhere. Not to mention that I don't have to worry about losing a password because my devices broke.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app does look a bit dated when compared to modern applications. It could use a good brush up. Also, I would prefer to have a generate username and password option overlay on the signup form itself. Switching between the app ruins the experience. Also sometimes, when filling in forms, especially in signup forms, the forms are filled with the wrong values (email address got filled in password field and password in confirm password field).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden helped me stop reusing passwords. It was rather easy to import all my old passwords. From there I knew what services I signed up for and what passwords I had to change. Did I mention that it also allowed me to save the recovery keys for MFA?

Love bitwarden and its transparency

  • May 23, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that they're open source and have been audited to verify the validity of their claims.

I also like the fact they seem to care more about their users than competitors, indicative by the fact they allow unlimited devices on their free plan, and the fact they don't do an affiliate program which could potentially make it such that users would have to pay more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the desktop application, there's no easy way to autofill credentials on desktop applications.

I found an autotype extension, though that requires keybind(s) to be pressed. It would be nice if Bitwarden were to add autofill capability to desktop app.

Also, it'd be nice if Bitwarden were to add autofill for 2FA on their browser extensions, or add the ability to use a variable for the 2FA code value in custom fields. Since sites can implement 2FA very differently sometimes..

Lastly, it'd be nice if there were more payment options. I feel they could attract fare more customers if they accepted cryptocurrencies via a service like CoinPayments for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the issue of myself being vulnerable to hundreds of password stealers made for Chromium (this includes Edge, Brave, Opera, Chrome) and Firefox made publicly available on GitHub. I'm also solving the issue of losing 2FA access in the event I lose my phone or it dies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend you try out Bitwarden's free plan. It's very easy to import passwords from in-built browser password manager to Bitwarden. And then if you like it, you can buy premium to obtain features such as emergency recovery and ability to store 2FA secrets.

A safe and reliable password management client that we trust.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Bitwarden offers a secure way to save logins securely. Also, I appreciate the cross-compatibility between any type of device that I own. Also, I enjoy the ability to share with a co-worker if needed without risking compromise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price point per-user cost can be somewhat spendy especially if you have a bigger staff group or a small budget. I also dislike the limited features that are on the cheaper programs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In-house security and identity management. Bitwarden increases efficiency by having browser plugins that remember big, complex passwords. We also have greatly reduced the need to consistently reset forgotten passwords.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compared to others Bitwarden seems to have Enterprise in mind.
