Flexible for Complex Team architecture and/or multi-role teammembers
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility. Our company is very complex in terms of cross-functional team members who sometimes work across different teams and have different needs throughout the organization, and this obviously affects the credentials they need to use. BW allows us to include a person in multiple groups, manage group permissions per collection, and add a credential to different collections.
What do you dislike about the product?
The “smart” password-field recognition with the Chrome extension while browsing the internet is really frustrating. I ended up having to disable it because it was extremely annoying and worked very poorly, placing the Bitwarden icon in lots of fields that weren’t actually login fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multpiple teams with different roles and multiples roles withing a single team. For example, we use Airbnb: property managers need to access, commercial managers need to access, and Finance team need to access. Without BW, we were every day sharing passwords by chat. Multiply this situation by 100. Bitwarden is now key for us.
Secure and Easy Password Management with Bitwarden
What do you like best about the product?
I really like using the Bitwarden browser extension in Chrome. It allows me to share sensitive information securely anytime. I also find the temporary sharing of passwords to be incredibly convenient for securely sharing password information on the go. Additionally, setting up Bitwarden was very easy and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to send large files typically less than 2GB which could be images securely and temporarily. It lacks an option to attach files when sharing passwords.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to store and share passwords securely, especially with non-technical personnel. The browser extension lets me securely share sensitive information anytime. However, I'd like to send large files, like images under 2GB, securely and temporarily.
Fluid and Practical Chrome Extension for Managing Passwords
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the Bitwarden extension on Chrome. It's convenient because I don't need to install a third-party app, everything is at my fingertips. The extension is very smooth and practical, which makes it really pleasant to use. Moreover, the initial setup was very easy, it only took me 2 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had trouble connecting at first because I had to choose between 2 servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to remember all my secure passwords, which is very convenient at work. The extension on Chrome is handy, everything is at your fingertips without the need to install a third-party application.
Ease of Use and Security with Bitwarden
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of Bitwarden, especially the Chrome extension that makes access smoother without breaking my workflow. Additionally, I find Bitwarden Send amazing, as it allows sending secure links easily and practically, with configuration options like view limits and expiration. The initial installation was very easy and simple, and I was able to quickly set up my account and access the shared vaults.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Answer me well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden for managing internal and shared passwords within the engineering team. It facilitates the sharing of passwords and keys, and Bitwarden Send makes it simple and secure to send sensitive information. The Chrome extension improves the workflow.
Effortless Password Management with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Bitwarden for its cloud storage that follows me across devices, simplifying device migrations without needing users to understand complex technical details. The simple user interface is also a big plus, as it helps keep training costs low and boosts user adoption. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, thanks to Bitwarden's onboarding support and straightforward documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
If Bitwarden would add functionality for notifications of collection updates, or items in collections, that would improve the user experience and simplify some of the use cases we have for integrating Bitwarden into business processes. The only other thing that comes to mind would be making the vault sync function more obvious in the browser extension. It is kind of buried in the Settings menus now, and non-technical users have trouble finding it on their own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden provides an enterprise-wide password management solution, eliminating old paper-based security processes. It helps create secure passwords, simplifies device migrations, and has a cloud storage feature for seamless access across devices. The user-friendly interface minimizes training costs and improves adoption.
Reliable Password Management with Usability Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I use Bitwarden to manage all my passwords, and I love how reliable it is. It helps me organize my passwords and keep them secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be improved.. it is a bit basic. Some features could be easier to discover, they are not obvious at first. The interface could be easier to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to manage and organize my passwords securely.
Effortlessly Secure and Accessible Password Management
What do you like best about the product?
I use Bitwarden for accessing teams and services and love its cross-platform usability, allowing me to access my passwords from anywhere with a simple click. The extension works amazingly, making my virtual office entry seamless. I really appreciate the passkeys feature for being passwordless, especially on a MacBook where it's a fingertip away. It's fantastic that Bitwarden consolidates various essentials in one place, like passkeys, passwords, and 2FA. The initial setup of Bitwarden was super easy, like 1 2 3, and I find it perfect for both work and personal use. I highly recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was better integration with the Keychain on Mac, making it easier to use on Safari or my iPhone. Currently, the password apps available on macOS have everything I need Bitwarden to have. I want to easily access any app and see the password, or the 2FA on the keyboard right away. With just one click, I should be logged in. If Bitwarden offers that, it would be the most complete app I've ever used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden for easy access to all my passwords and shared company passwords. It's cross-platform, letting me login with a click, and centralized, holding passkeys, 2FA, and passwords in one place.
Affordable Password Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Bitwarden for personal use to manage and create new passwords. I like that Bitwarden is not so expensive and has a fairly good offering in the free tier. The initial setup was quite easy, which made the transition smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had an authentication function like the Google Auth, but integrated into the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden for managing and generating passwords.
Effortless Autofill and Secure Credential Sharing with One Master Password
What do you like best about the product?
It is great how good your autofill really is and I simply am not required to "think" about it. That was what I was looking for. One Master Password and the rest of the world is just automatically taken care of. Sharing my credentials with the group without having to send them my password via Slack (like an idiot) is another huge advantage. When I give them access they are able to log into whatever program they need and will never even know the password or see the string of characters. The ability to share works well for me and I am happy it does.
What do you dislike about the product?
The browser extension lags occasionally but it doesn't happen all the time but enough times that you notice it. A small thing but it would be nice if the password entry box was highlighted/autofocused once you had entered a password using autofill rather than you having to click back onto the box. Another small frustration but there is clutter in the interface when dealing with larger vaults and scrolling through hundreds of entries isn't enjoyable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to use three identical passwords for all of my accounts before I started using this and this means I was essentially begging for some sort of catastrophe to occur. Now each account has it's own unique and long password which I could not possibly remember whether I tried. If someone leaves the company we are able to remove their access instantly.
Fast, Friendly Support That Goes the Extra Mile
What do you like best about the product?
I'm always impressed when a large company still offers personalized customer support. Their support team is always fast and friendly. We recently had an issue where we hadn't removed some former employees from our account before our annual renewal. They quickly walked us through cleaning up the account and refunded the balance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Coming from Lastpass, it took me a bit to get used to the subtle differences in UI workflow. Not sure if it's user error but I sometimes have to manually "sync" to my shared passwords sync across our org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
being a small software and marketing agency, we need need an easy and secure way to share passwords across our organization. Bitwarden fits the bill.
