Highly Customizable and Secure Password Management

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Bitwarden because it helps me save all my work and personal credentials efficiently. The customization options stand out for me, especially the ability to organize my credentials by folders and collections. I can even customize all the permissions, which adds more security to the app. Additionally, the setup and integrations were really easy, making the transition to using Bitwarden smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like if the app was able to autofill the passwords and login into the site without user intervention, so final user can use the app without check the password
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to save all my work and personal credentials. It helps me have different passwords for all my logins and manage MFA in a single app, making my online security more organized and secure.

Secure, Streamlined Password Management

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Bitwarden because it is easy to use for storing and using passwords securely. I appreciate the ability to create collections to share secure passwords with coworkers, which helps teams and departments share passwords for multi-use accounts without needing to spread them in unsecure channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find new hires have a hard time understanding all the features of Bitwarden and teaching them takes time. The ability to manage employees in an organization or set up passwords on their behalf could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to manage passwords and reduce support overhead. It solves security issues by preventing users from writing down passwords.

Efficient Password Management, Needs Seamless Sign-In

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Bitwarden for work to keep track of various system passwords and credentials, and it saves me from having to manually remember all the different and complex passwords I use. I like how Bitwarden can add the two-factor authentication (2MFA) setup code and auto-generate the 2MFA code right at the system login page, where I can just click to enter without needing to navigate to another authenticator tool. This feature saves me time by reducing the need to switch between apps like Google Authenticator or email to retrieve 2MFA codes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the login with passkey method didn't just sign me in and still requires entering the master password. A password-less login method would be good. Also, there's a bit of a learning curve for setting up collections, collection permissions, and vaults correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to avoid manually remembering multiple complex passwords. It saves me time by generating 2MFA codes automatically at login, eliminating the need to switch between apps like Google Authenticator.

Intuitive Password Management, with Excellent Sending Features

  • February 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The management of Bitwarden is quite intuitive. The "Send" option is wonderful, as it allows me to send not only text like passwords but also executables, without unnecessarily using memory by using links. I used the "Send" function to distribute software to people with administrative permissions, which saves a lot of time. The Bitwarden support team quickly resolved an issue with a user who was not receiving the invitation email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Removing permissions from multiple collections can be improved. It is tedious to have to go one by one when there are many. It is true that there is group management and if the user is removed from the group, they no longer have access, but if those groups are synchronized with Azure, they would be added again, and sometimes they are manually added to certain collections. While I can select multiple collections and add those permissions to all the selected collections at once, I cannot do the same to remove them, or I haven't found how, so if it exists, it must be a too hidden option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden makes managing passwords more intuitive and allows sharing large files easily with its "Send" feature, which saves time, especially when distributing software.

Fully Open Source and Auditable Code

  • February 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s fully open source, so anyone can audit the code.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is functional but not as polished as some competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden solves the core problem of password chaos—too many accounts, weak or reused credentials, and insecure storage habits—by providing a single, encrypted vault that securely stores and syncs all your logins across devices. Instead of relying on memory, browser storage, or risky note-taking, it generates strong, unique passwords and autofills them when needed, reducing both friction and security risk. Its end-to-end encryption and zero-knowledge architecture ensure that even the company cannot access your data, which builds trust, especially compared to some closed alternatives. For someone managing multiple accounts across cloud platforms, development tools, and financial services, this means less time spent on password resets, fewer security vulnerabilities from reuse, and a cleaner, more controlled digital workflow.

Perfect for Family Password Management

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Bitwarden to be incredibly easy to use, which is a big plus for me. The app support is fantastic, especially the Windows app and Edge browser integration, which really makes life easy. Bitwarden helps me and my family consolidate passwords and even allows us to use randomly generated ones, which is great. Overall, it has everything I'm looking for in a password manager and I'm very satisfied with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its great no dislikes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden consolidates passwords and allows randomly generated ones for everyone in my family.

Bitwarden Send Shines for Secure Sharing and a Great Chrome Extension

  • February 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Bitwarden Send is probably the best feature in the app. Being able to send a link protected with a password, so I can share sensitive content more safely, is for me the standout feature. The chrome extension is also very nice. Being also able to share password with a team with group is also very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, the GUI and UX experience isn’t the best. For example, having to log in to the Chrome extension every time is quite annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets me share passwords within a team and securely share sensitive documents with someone when needed.

Easy Access, great encryption, secure & controlled sharing

  • February 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to access my saved passwords from both the mobile app and the browser extension. Requires to remember only 1 master password. It has been free to use for the last 5 years and the data encryption has never been compromised.
What do you dislike about the product?
The autofill feature in the mobile app sometimes doesn’t work. Another major issue is that when I update a password, Bitwarden occasionally saves the old password instead, overwriting the new one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it easier to save hundreds of passwords, especially banking/finance related sensitive passwords that require to be changed every 3 months. Also, eliminating weak or re-used passwords by generating strong alpha-numeric passwords for individual sites. Allowing secure vault sharing with authorised people is a major problem solver to use in organizations without having to share them publicly over messaging apps.

It's easy to manage through the mobile app, letting me access credentials anywhere. It provides high functionality and is easy to set up without technical support.
