Solid, Secure Free Password Manager

  • April 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Is a really solid password manager, especially for a free option. It’s secure, easy to use, and works well across devices. The interface is simple, though a bit basic, and autofill can be hit or miss sometimes. Overall, it’s reliable and definitely worth using.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface feels a bit too basic and not very modern
Autofill sometimes fails or isn’t as smooth as expected
Setup can be a little confusing for beginners
Some advanced features are only in the paid version
It doesn’t feel as polished as some competitors like 1Password
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden helped me solve the problem of managing multiple passwords. Before, I used to forget passwords or reuse the same one everywhere, which isn’t safe. With Bitwarden, I can store everything securely and generate strong passwords, so I don’t have to worry about remembering them or getting hacked as easily.

Intuitive and Reliable but Needs Enhanced Security

  • April 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Bitwarden because it's simple and intuitive. It's always reliable, and I don't have issues with logging in. The user interface is very clean and allows me to do everything I need in a password manager. The initial setup of Bitwarden was very easy, seamless, and straightforward, just like any other password manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been occasional times where my data has been leaked, which I'm not entirely sure is Bitwarden's fault. But it can be a bit of a nightmare to log in quickly, change details, and go back through and change all of the details stored on Bitwarden. Hopefully, they can improve the security features, as that has been an issue I've had in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden makes it easy to keep all my passwords in one place without remembering them all. It's simple, intuitive, always reliable, and the clean interface lets me do everything I need.
