Secure and Accessible, Perfect for the Password Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I use it to create long and different passwords for each site and it solves the problem of forgotten passwords, so I no longer have to try to remember different passwords for each site. I appreciate the fact that Bitwarden is open source and public, because it means that security experts from all over the world can constantly check it for vulnerabilities. Additionally, it was very easy to set up initially.
What do you dislike about the product?
The aesthetics are a bit dated and sparse compared to competitors like 1Password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to create long and different passwords for each site and solve the problem of forgotten passwords.
protector
What do you like best about the product?
Bitwarden is incredibly easy to use and gives me peace of mind knowing my passwords are stored securely. I like how it works across all my devices and makes logging in much faster. The interface is clean, the autofill feature is reliable, and it has everything I need in a password manager
What do you dislike about the product?
Bitwarden is a very good app, but it may feel a bit less intuitive at first compared to simpler password managers. Some users might also find the interface more functional than polished
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden helps me manage all my passwords in a simple, organized way. It makes accessing my accounts day to day much easier, and, most importantly, it makes me feel a lot more secure.
Fast, Secure Password Storage with Clean, Convenient Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it safely and conveniently stores all of my passwords so I don't have to fumble around with forgetting any. It provides peace of mind, organization, and clean functionality. It performs quickly and effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn’t like a recent update that made me click a “fill” button to enter my login information, but it has since returned to the original functionality. Now I don’t have any issues with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the issue of me forgetting passwords and benefits me by increasing account security and not requiring me to memorize different passwords for each login.
Seamless Cross-Device Syncing, Reliable Autofill, and Trusted Open-Source Security
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly the most compelling feature for me is the cross device syncing. On my computer I add an item and it automatically appears on my mobile device and although it seems obvious now but my previous account management tool didn’t do this very well. The browser extension has worked well for me, and autofill never conflicts with me as some other tools will. Additionally, the open source development model allows developers to review the code, and that’s something I value more today than I would’ve valued two or three years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function isn’t intelligent enough either; when I have a large number of items in my vault, and I’m trying to find a specific entry by name I get tired of waiting for results. Furthermore there is currently no way to view logins across all devices or through multiple collections, making clean-up easier than it is and although minor, importing items from another password manager wasn’t as seamless as they say.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Bitwarden I was storing passwords in both a note taking application and sometimes even emailing them to myself which is probably as bad as it sounds. Bitwarden provides a single location to store all my passwords with real encryption, and I don’t need to remember 40 different passwords or use the same password for every website. Sharing passwords with a small group without sharing via slack works great with Bitwarden. It simply does what it promises and has not yet failed to perform any critical functionality.
Intuitive UI, Seamless Bitwarden Integration, and Responsive Support
What do you like best about the product?
I was thrilled to see multiple pricing models (teams and enterprise as well as a custom option). The demo showed us exactly what this tool could do and was well worth the time. The web UI is intuitive and required no real training to maneuver. Integration wise we were able to make use tof the API and plug Bitwarden into our workflow seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We honestly don’t have any complaints or negatives. Between the ease of use, the breadth of options, and the very responsive customer service team, we’ve had no issues with deployment, day-to-day use, or ongoing maintenance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn’t have any password management in place before Bitwarden, and we’d reached a point where that simply wasn’t realistic anymore. Bitwarden was the knight in shining armor, giving us exactly what we needed, with performance that matches anything else we’ve seen—at a lower price.
Unbeatable pricing for small businesses, though not without flaws
What do you like best about the product?
The pricing structure is unbeatable. For a small company like ours, being able to use the Family plan is a total game-changer. It allows us to manage our credentials securely without the heavy overhead of enterprise software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The billing system is quite rigid. Even though I had enough credit on my account balance, my account was locked simply because I didn't have a credit card linked at the moment of renewal. It’s frustrating to be locked out of your own data when you've already technically paid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden solves the problem of secure credential sharing within a small team without the high costs of enterprise-level software. It allows us to maintain a high level of security and 'zero-knowledge' encryption while keeping our overhead low by using the Families plan for a small company setup.
Efficient Password Management for Large Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the shared vaults work well for a team with over 50 employees, making it unnecessary to consult the IT manager or use insecure Google Sheets. I also appreciate the browser extension for its seamless integration and the autofill feature that works without friction.
What do you dislike about the product?
the UI feels a bit dated honestly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to manage passwords across my team, stopping the chaos of sharing passwords over Slack. The shared vaults remove the need for consulting IT or using insecure Google Sheets, and the Chrome extension's autofill is seamless.
Effortless Password Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Bitwarden helps in organizing and securing all my passwords across all devices. I particularly enjoy using the complex password generator and the copy/paste feature. I appreciate the ability to share my notes or passwords securely externally. The initial setup was quite easy, and I'm able to use it on both desktop and mobile.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the delegation of account access could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden organizes and secures all my passwords across devices, generates complex passwords, and enables secure sharing of notes externally.
Secure and User-Friendly, Needs Better Sharing Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like Bitwarden because it allows us to share passwords securely and generate secure, long passwords without needing to memorize all of them. The password generator is great for managing different passwords. Saving OTPs is very nice, making it easy to autofill and saving time, instead of pulling up another device. The initial setup was very easy for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing passwords is not very good, we have to copy the password and send it via a secure note rather than just sharing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden allows us to share passwords securely, generate long and secure passwords, save OTPs, and autofill credentials. It saves time by not having to memorize multiple passwords or use another device for OTPs.
Affordable with Handy Features, Needs Interface Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Bitwarden as a personal password manager at work, and it does the job honestly. I like that it's cheap, and the OTP feature is really handy, especially in the Chrome extension.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bitwarden is not very intuitive and looks old school. Sometimes it doesn't collect passwords properly when I insert them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden as a personal password manager at work to prevent forgetting and to share passwords with teammates securely.
