Salesforce to Salesloft
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to view client engagement with emails and content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting setup, initial learning curve when trying new functions. It is not always that obvious what I need to do to make an edit, deletion, find a different screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confirm email reads. Centralizing client-specific activities. Including my meeting availability in my emails.
Great for automation - can be a bit clunky
What do you like best about the product?
Automated follow-up emails and the ability to automatically not send a follow-up to those that do respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling and setting up emails for cadences can be a bit clunky. The follow-up emails don't actually reply to the original email, they send a completely new email, so if a prospect missed the first, they can't scroll down to see it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficient prospecting and lead generation.
Hitting Sales Metrics through Cadences and Automation!
What do you like best about the product?
Cadences within Salesloft are easy to configure and drastically improved my daily activity metrics as a BDR. I had previously worked within a Google Sheet + Salesforce CRM to keep track of my activities per prospect which worked for over 1.5 years before I made the switch to Salesloft. Salesloft allowed me to automate cadence steps and keep track of cadence activity, whereas I manually had to keep track of where each prospect was within my cadences in my Google Sheet.
Salesloft has an integration to several Sales tools we used (Salesforce CRM and Zoominfo), which made it easy for me to add new contacts to my Hotlist on a daily or weekly basis. This also allowed me to add these contacts to different cadences for automated campaigns I ran when nurturing prospects or promoting collateral about our brand. Live tracking (clicks, opens, etc.) also aided in my success when sending out emails through the platform.
Another neat feature was the local dialer which translated into more pickups since the area code matched the prospect's. The call recording feature helped me (along with others) understand how well I handled specific calls and where I had areas of improvement to work on. Overall, Salesloft's automated cadences and daily cadence step tracking allowed for me to book more meetings by focusing on prospects that were receptive to my emails or spend more time on the phones rather than crafting a million emails per day.

What do you dislike about the product?
The live tracking feature wasn't the most accurate at times due to firewalls setup on prospects' ends. Even when it provided intel on the device/location the email was opened on, I was never entirely sure if the person read my email or quickly tossed it to spam upon marking as read. Tread lightly when it comes to this feature, as I have had several prospects message me back even though I never got an open/read receipt through the live tracking feature. Consider it more as a bonus rather than a key indicator to understand how engaged your prospect is with your emails.
When it comes to emails, the formatting was a bit odd at times (weird spacing) and threads the previous email in the cadence so when it got to the 3rd email it would be:
- response to 2nd email
- 2nd email responding to first email
- 1st email
From a prospect's perspective it made these emails longer and sometimes feel like it was automated if I did not manually delete the previous email in the thread.
Overall, these were minute details that did not detract from my experience with Salesloft.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: organizing and automating cadences while uncovering valuable insights into email & call success rates
Benefits: call recording feature improved BDR performance as we now had a tool to listen to successful (and not-so-successful) calls to continuously adapt our cold calling
automated cadences allowed for more time spent on the phones and less time navigating through CRMs / other software
metrics on email success rate showed which email templates worked more efficiently than others (open rate, response rate, success rate, etc.)

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Although I did not use the analytics section on a daily basis as a user of the platform, I would consider Salesloft to anyone who is looking to not only assist in organizing and automatic their cadences, but also improve their team through KPIs provided by the analytics section. These insights were a game-changer for me and my team as we were able to improve our success rates as we had more data to work with regarding email & call success. If you are looking for a one-stop-shop to improve the workflow of your BDRs/SDRs while also gaining valuable insights into their successes/areas of improvements, Salesloft is the way to go!

Cadences and how I'm able to see my contacts and along with my last touch quickly

Organized, ground breaking and sales oriented tool
What do you like best about the product?
I can keep track of all my calls and emails. This is extremely important as I can make sure I'm following up and not leaving anyone without a response. Every call matter in the Sales world!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to not have to create a "Person" to log a call. Sometimes, it is an important call but just a one-timer. So, having to create a person every time is just too much.

SalesLoft has helped me on keeping track of my potential customers. If it was not for the organization I have through SalesLoft, I would have fallen off in many good opportunities.
