Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience of working in SalesLoft is key to why the platform has become a vital part of our sales process. I'm especially impressed with the intuitive nature of the cadence structure to focus on the pain point of the sales process. Each time I can save 45-60 seconds in entering a record allows me to double the outreach I'm able to complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system is not built for opportunities in Salesforce. They system should be dynamic and allow a user to template all of the steps of outreach, including administrative tasks. Also, they tracking of meetings in the system does not connect to the Salesforce platform. While the meeting scheduling tools are robust and intuitive the meetings schedule on them don't translate into a SalesForce accepted category.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SalesLoft allows me to increase the transition between outreach to a new lead. By smoothing out my workflow and shortening the amount of time I spend on each lead I'm able to increase the speed out outreach and spend time on quality conversations, not administrative tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Investing in a sales process requires buying from all members of a sales organization. SalesLoft provides a streamlined workflow that is easy for large corporate teams and small startups to adopt, create team buy-in, and tracking the progress of the return on investment. Improving the efficiency of the sales team is core to the SalesLoft platform and its integration without sales CRM and lead research have made it the backbone of our outreach process.
I Can't Imagine My Job without This
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it shows me if a prospect is interacting with my emails or our website.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure that there really are downsides to this product. You can integrate so many features that if you are needing something more you can just add it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the issue of losing track of clients, client conversations, and just the general chaos that goes in to manually calling hundreds of prospects each week. It automatically sends emails out for me and lets me know when someone has booked a meeting.
Great prospecting system.
What do you like best about the product?
Automating the steps that people go through cadence steps means I don't have to track that kind of stuff myself. This frees up a lot more time on the back end, and helps to make sure that you're actually calling and emailing people instead of trying to figure out and remember the last time you called or emailed them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It glitches out with some regularity. You'll be dialing out, and you won't hear anything on the line until someone answers the phone (no ringing), as well as a few random glitches. Sometimes people won't load into cadences, sometimes people will be incorrectly linked to their lead in Salesforce, relatively minor things that pop up every once in a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to spend too much time manually tracking the progress of my prospects, trying to remember what and when I last emailed/called them, what I said, it saves so much time on the back end. Saving time on the back end, allows you to spend more of your time on the front end, actually calling and emailing your people people.

If you want to automatically track when and how you've reached out to prospects, this is a great tool to do so.

Sometimes SalesLoft looses track of my templates (especially when using dozens.)

I like the simplicity and ease of calling and emailing contacts. Being able to call with extensions and a great dial pad makes it so easy. Having the information of each contact in front of me for each contact has helped improve my approach to the customer as well as understand their role and where they are in the their institution. SalesLoft also makes it easier to see results and analytics form our emails, calls, and responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish SalesLoft could connect with more features from SalesForce and those would translate to the SalesLoft dashboard. I would like for SaleLoft to be able to show incumbents, contact list, and current assets being used from our SalesForce information. I also wish incoming calls could come directly into SalesLoft instead of using Cysco. When a customer returns my calls (after I have called them from SalesLoft), it would be a great feature to have the ringing via SalesLoft and the call be recorded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving prospecting issues with SalesLoft. We are able to reach more customers quicker and easier while being able to multitask. Being able to see the views of my emails and how they responded is a huge step for us in understand our conversions of email templates and responses. I have realized SalesLoft makes the process of selling our software much easier and that is the main goal of our company, which is to help others through the use of our software.

SalesLoft allows me as a manager to measure the volume and frequency of my team's outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Activation tools like SalesLoft can lead individual contributors to become complacent in their outreach. The ability to scale can bread laziness and thwart a person's ability and willingness to learn the basics (ie. Identify pain and add value, alter messaging based on persona, industry, perceived interest, go beyond the scope of your daily cadence to seek out quick wins through other mediums, etc).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is a direct correlation between output, responses/connections, and meetings booked. SalesLoft enables me to support this contention to my team and my superiors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
SalesLoft is unable to account for unique objects in Salesforce (ie. the LinkedIn messages and connections log, but SalesLoft is unable to record this activity on our unique "Sales Type" and "Sales Sub-Type" fields. Same with Direct Mail sends using Sendoso.
Apart from that and some other minor issues, SalesLoft is a powerful tool that can be helpful in determining team members' effort, success, and ability to adapt from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective.

Bot for recording meetings is a very helpful feature and makes it super easy to share recorded demos with customers

I wish i could do mass emails from Salesloft for large spreadsheets of contacts

The email tracking is great for understanding when customers are in front of computer and able to take a call. I also like the call function to dial from my computer.

Salesloft is Sales Automation at it's Best!
What do you like best about the product?
I like Salesloft's ability to customize your outreach strategy within each cadence to tailor your communications effectively. The ability to test different messaging couldn't be easier and allows you to focus on selling rather than spin your wheels with designing tests.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar scheduling functionality can be buggy at times. I have had prospects attempt to book time with me and experience issues getting to my calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of managing several different aspects of my business in one place. Using Salesforce open activities is messy and organized and gives you no feedback on effectiveness. Salesloft allows me to segment my activities based on each cadence. I employ cadences for prospecting, open pipeline, closed lost nurture, and case study requests. This allows me to come in to the dashboard in the morning and focus on the exact activities needed at the moment instead of searching through a long list of un-prioritized open activities to determine where I should delegate my time. I have a cleaner sales pipeline than ever, my activity is more productive than ever, and I'm closing more business in a timely fashion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend an ongoing service for help at reviewing analytics offered by Salesloft. Guidance on best practices and general coaching to go along with the solution could be really helpful as an additional paid service option.
Review of Salesloft from a tech perspective
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can easily create/send out email cadences. This is very helpful when I need to send out mass campaigns and am trying to reach dozens, if not hundreds of users. Salesloft makes it very easy to do this.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that the user interface can often feel very clunky, and often isn't exactly the most "user friendly". Also, they abruptly removed a crucial feature that I used regularly, and we had to reach out to them to get that feature back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest practical use I get out of salesloft is, as mentioned, the fact that I can streamline campaigns. I can reach out to hundreds of people across several different campaigns, customizing each of them, in a matter of minutes. I also can sync salesloft to salesforce to seamlessly integrate the two programs.
