Salesloft has changed our SDR teams ability to prospect.
What do you like best about the product?
It helps the SDR team stay organized, while staying laser focused on the prospecting. With automated cadences and task logging we are able to send more e-mails and make more calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation rules are a little bit confusing to make. Keeping track of cadences and e-mail templates can be a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get more connections that translate into meetings and opportunities. The higher volume and consistent messages.
Much Needed Tool - Regardless of Industry Vertical
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to creatively put-together a cadence. Tailor it to my needs and drive results. I believe any organization, regardless of their size could greatly benefit from this tool. I really like that it tracks everything for me on a daily basis. Every sales man/woman needs to start their day with SalesLoft. It provides direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tools can always have more integrations. Wish it synced up with more of my daily-platforms, but that will most likely come in time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My sales team greatly required some direction and rhythm in their daily/weekly touch-points. SalesLoft has been able to confidently and quickly steer the ship in the right direction.
The attention and assistance often feels like we're the only customer!
What do you like best about the product?
Help whenever we need it from various folks at SalesLoft, tons of virtual training available. Ease of use, fairly intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some inability to customize means I cannot see exactly what I need to in order to measure my team's success, but completely understandable. Some of the downsides are limitations in analytics & reporting. Some of the logic - for example recording a call as a "success" is not customization in a way that I can apply qualifiers and only view, or primarily view (rather than as dictated by volume), successful calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Had a start up team and we all started using SalesLoft together. The ability to coach in real time, very easily, has helped us get closer to where we need to be, faster!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate what you are able to do, as well as unable to do. I would also consider the scope of use in the organization. We are a small component of our org using SalesLoft, so there are some minor challenges in that area.
Intuitive and Robust - All in one.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simple layout of SalesLoft. It's very intuitive to pick up quickly and I was able to get my team running quickly. I can very easily dive into the data, either in salesloft or salesforce and quickly coach my team up on areas that might be an opportunity for improvement. Everything is easy to access and laid out well. Cadences are especially simple to build.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more technical aspects can be a bit cumbersome to onboard. I didn't like that I had to wait on SalesLoft support for my Custom Domain - although they were very quick to respond. I was largely able to get most of my instance up and running without salesloft support, but I would like to be able to do it all myself or within my own org. I understand some of this simply isn't possible, given the technology, so maybe a kickoff call to cover those aspects would be valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is able to be much more efficient with their outreach across all major channels and this has allowed us to utilize some of the less well known channels as well. The ability to automate steps in the cadence and include intent intelligence is a game changer. This is the biggest benefit I see over all of salesloft's competitors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I was between SalesLoft and Outreach. Both tools are good (though I think SalesLoft has the edge with their roadmap), Outreach had horrific support in my experience. SalesLoft is entirely the opposite. Support is best-in-class.
Salesloft - The best Sales tool we have ever purchased!
What do you like best about the product?
Visibility, Automation, Cadences. It is such an essential tool for any Sales team. Having the ability to see where a team member is at any point is absolutely a game-changer. The integrations for various tools in use and on the "want" list made enabling Salesloft pain-free too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to use Zoom instead of MS Teams. I haven't checked the roadmap for Salesloft in a while, maybe they are working to integrate Teams since Microsoft has drastically improved their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to get that "speed to lead" so we can automate a response while booking an appointment at the same time. Also, providing the sales manager the ability to make sure their team is hitting their numbers without having to go digging for the data. It is right there and waiting for you.
Generally a good platform but have had frequent technical issues.
What do you like best about the product?
Cadences, view into my team's activity, calling with randomized local numbers, templates, Email tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
We've found it to be buggy sporadically. Our AM and support has generally been responsive but when your whole sales team calls off the platform, we really need 100% uptime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important use case here is logging all our emails, calls and activity, that solves the relevant obvious problems.
SalesLoft has made calling easier and more visible
What do you like best about the product?
SalesLoft has a lot of great features. We heavily utilize cadences as a way to engage with our leads & customers. The granularity on reporting in Salesforce and SalesLoft has helped us hone which cadences, email templates, and times of day work best for our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is tough to answer, the functionality, response time from the team/support, and overall product stability is significantly better than the previous product. We'd like to be able to skip steps automatically for people who don't have emails on their lead, but this is something that is in the works. There are no major pitfalls to the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the time to call leads, recording of calls, accountable follow up, personalization of follow up, and data metrics. We have realized that were using 4 tools to do what 1 can, we've held our reps and ourselves accountable for follow up, we've been having more meaningful conversations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
SalesLoft has a team that is truly partnering with you to learn your business and make the tool more effective. Their support team is top notch! I was a skeptic, especially with a failed Outreach launch. SalesLoft has allowed us to call more and email effectively.
Invaluable resource for our team
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to get large volumes of highly targeted activity out to prospects and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to think of anything negative here...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesloft has helped our sales team to dramatically improve our prospecting and outreach efficiency.
A tool that helps you test different ideas for email cadences - a requirement in a sales environment
What do you like best about the product?
Personalised emails are what prospects appreciate (and respond to). With a tool like SalesLoft you are able to do that without having to spend hours with manual data entry - love the tool and could not imagine my day without it!
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with SugarCRM needs to be optimised - more a matter of needing to work on this integration than a problem with SalesLoft itself
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No longer having to write each email myself, am now able to have my templates in different languages (cover German, Spanish and English languages)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You have to use it!
User-friendly, Comprehensive Platform for Sales Automation, Sales Enablement, ABM
What do you like best about the product?
As someone formerly in sales (and now in marketing using Salesloft to help enable the sales team) I like:
- The ease of use
- Tracking abilities that sync to Salesforce
- Ability to add templates & snippets for different campaigns / ABM initiatives
- The real-time insights it provides sales that can be actioned on

What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting functionality has gotten a lot better since I first started using Salesloft over 5 years ago - but there's still a few areas I'd like Salesloft to continue to improve upon to get better insights into what's working best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently it's allowing us to have easier access to enable sales with information on campaign & lead followup in a system they actually use & can adapt.
