Made my life as an SDR a breeze

  • May 16, 2019

What do you like best about the product?
The speed of sending emails was key for my continued use of Salesloft. I went from having a massive and cluttered google sheets index of all my clients to organized cadences. It was also very valuable to see which cadences worked best which lead to better emails and higher engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't have many issues with Salesloft. There were a couple of times where I couldn't log in but that is typical of a service of that size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automized outreach - made everything run 1000x faster. Saved me hours of work and I was able to focus on creating better content to send than focusing on getting emails out at all.

What do you like best about the product?
We use meeting intelligence, which records and transcribes our calls. This is a neat feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've found the main competing platform to be a bit more comprehensive, but still like the SalesLoft platform overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Record and listen to calls, surface up insights.

Helps a ton

What do you like best about the product?
Building cadences is very easy, the autopopulate tools work great, and the phone functionality works very well. Importing people is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search could be greatly improved. Also occasionally the dialer is tough to work with while in a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of who you are staying in touch with and when is a breeze. Also the ability to have stats on how different emails and cadences are performing is great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely the best cadence tool out there

Great tool for professional persistence!

What do you like best about the product?
The helpful way to remind yourself to continue to contact and use different communication styles. It is a persistent, yet professional, way to follow up with clients and prospects. It gives my teams daily/weekly tasks to keep their follow up items moving along.
I like the ease of inserting videos. It helps our communications stand out from others and that was a challenge we had before.
As a team lead, this is also great to see what communications are going out and who is reading/clicking/watching. It is exciting to send a cadence out and start watching the clicks and views come in!
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating SL is a bit clunky and takes a bit to get used to finding where things are and how it works.
But once you get in a good flow, it is easy to move quickly. One thing in particular is when selecting people, if you go to the next page, your selections are lost.
There is also more than one way to do a few things, so it can get a little confusing to navigate while you are trying to figure out what works best for how you need it to flow.
Knowing where you need to start to build a cadence, so you don't have to keep going back can also be a challenge. Again, just finding what works best for how you need it to flow can take a little time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us with follow ups! For our sales team, it helps reach out to prospects, make it very specialized and still send to a group of people. The videos added into cadences has helped our company stand out from the rest. For our account management team, it helps with communications that need to be followed up. So many times, we forget to follow up, this has been a game changer. Once specific way we benefit is for our contract renewals. We start 3 months out and use different communication methods (emails, calls, videos) to get in touch.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend having a point person be the admin to make sure everything is set up correctly and then working closely with your Marketing team to build your messaging. Having a single person (specifically Marketing) involved with messaging can keep consistence with your touch points and stay aligned with your brand. Another recommendation would be to have a naming pattern. As you continue to grow your cadences, name them in a way they can easily be searched and identified. Using tags is helpful as well.

I really don't have anything negative to sat about it. I use it every day and it's helping to put my in my pocket.

Overall great platform, but with plenty of bugs

  • May 15, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to use. The reminders in gmail, the integrations with gmail and Salesforce. Cadences are easy to set up. Local dial is crucial for increasing pick-up rates. Call recording for sales coaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of the dialer is not great. Sometimes people can't hear us, sometimes it randomly mutes us. Also SalesLoft in general has lots of bugs. Sometimes the "loft it" button just doesn't work and you have to refresh. We've had issues where emails in cadences send out with a blank subject line when replying to a previous email, even though it's set up to include the subject line rom the previous email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task automating. No more manually sending out emails, manually logging emails in SFDC, no more manually logging calls. Generally organizing our outreach and outbound sales activity.

What do you like best about the product?
Helps sales and account management stay on top of account with little effort. The integration with SFDC and Outlook saves reps a huge amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. The interface is great; easy to use and navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reps now focus on selling - the 'check-ins' are now automated. Reps are bookings more demos as they have more time to focus on the selling side.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to manage cadence, sequence, and template actions for email prospecting; code view; Sales Nav integration; call dial pad & ability to pre-record and drop a VM...the list goes on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the prospects role in Salesloft is not updated with their new role in LinkedIn/SalesNav (very rarely this happens)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective prospecting - we've realized with the view/click/response rates, we are able to optimize our email templates and obtain better results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend.

Sales automation and email tracking made easy

  • May 15, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to build and manage cadences, share cadences across teams, and understand the effectiveness of different types of sales outreach and templates. Integration with Gmail is straightforward and doesn't interfere with a typical email workflow for easy tracking. Integration with Salesforce.com is great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike! I would like to see possible improvements for the AE/full sales cycle use case. Some ideas- "quick cadences" based on the type of engagement (ex. follow up after a first call) or add someone to a cadence via Gmail. The ability to "smartly" filter notifications would be amazing as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SalesLoft provides you with a better understanding of how prospects and customers are engaging with your content and the effectiveness of email templates or cadences. It also allows you to share cadences or templates across teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are in need of a tool that allows you to better standardize messaging across the team, understand what kinds of messaging works with your prospects, and when people are opening or clicking on your emails, it is a great tool. Also has great integration with Vidyard :)
