Life Changing if You Work in Sales!!!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to prospect new companies. The ease of dropping them into sales flows in Engage is amazing. Additionally, the amount of touch point you no longer have to manually do is outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a larger screen view on searches and that the intent did not scroll across the bottom. It makes it very difficult to work off the list that populates on searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was told by Salesforce that I would have to upgrade the package in order to integrate. Come to find out, for our companie's needs we do not need to integrate. It has expanded my lead base and out reach incredibly.
Indispensable tool for sales pros
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it provides real-time alerts on buyer intent signals, such as website visits, content downloads, and job changes, allowing me to engage with prospects at the right time and with a tailored message to maximize the chances of converting them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to get used to and is not very intuitive. There are many tools and features, so it becomes somewhat overwhelming. Also, there are limitations regarding integration. For those like my company, who use NetSuite, there is no integration, so it is impossible to use all of ZoomInfo's features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me reach more meaningful prospects.

NOT A PRODUCT FOR SMB COMPANIES
What do you like best about the product?
I would not recommend Zoominfo to small business sales teams, for a variety of reasons, but put shortly:
The investment is not worth it.
1. If you work with small business organizations, the zoominfo platform often will not be able to find your buyers - owners, etc. especially in the 1/2-$10/mil revenue space. It's great about finding large companies and corporations, but it's not suited for small business emails, phone numbers, and websites.
2. intent tool is useless. even though you can see searches going on, we've been unable to execute on that information and intel in a meaningful way to generate appointments. For larger organizations with big marketing teams and endless supllies of SDRs this tool is needed, but if you're a small sales team and each seller does a little of marketing and selling, the intent will not be helpful because it requires a lot of setup and infrastructure. we ran several intent tests and were never able to execute.
No notice of Contract Renewals - stuck with a super high prirce tag.
3. If you go with zoominfo, be extremely careful with how you set up your contract, and specifcally ask for NON-AUTO renewal. My contract autorenewed with 20% increase and i got one email at 60 days with a subject line: your subscribtion is set to autorenew automatically. No call with a rep, no date on when renewal is.
I tried to cancel my contract at 45 days, and my rep said, sorry. you're stuck. there's no way out. They will push you to "allocate" that spend to another product but will do nothing to help you reduce the spend.
Who would I recommend ZI to?
If you're a sales leader of a large organization with unlimited budget, zoominfo is a great tool.
Who I wouldn't?
If you're a smaller organization - I would highly suggest alternative tools. the flashy-iness of ZI does not merit the invoice, unfortunately, and you will not have support. Just a brand new kid out of college telling you sorry there's nothing we can do for you when you need help.

Zoominfo makes it easy to find out info about prospects as well as seamless for bringing them into cadences.

Some info is wrong and outdated, but not everything will always be accurate as expected.

They are solving the issue of not having ways to reach out to prospects. Easily get address, phone numbers, emails, etc.

Zoominfo is great at being a tool and resource, for connecting with leads, clients, and beyond.

ZoomInfo solves the problem of not finding correct contact information, because they fulfill those needs.
ZoomInfo is able to extract more than just great information about company structure.

Organizational charts, contact information & deployed technologies were what I historically used ZoomInfo for, but learning about the Intent topics has added a great tool to spot potential opportunities within my accounts. The integration into Salesforce allows me to automate the beginning of a campaign and track its success.

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a bit clunky, so learning the best ways to use it takes some time. Just so you know – the deployed technologies can get a bit dated, so you should use additional sources to confirm. Is there a way to understand more about the extent of the technologies and to know if mentions have gone quite over a period of time?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo is helping me understand some of the key opportunities that may exist in an account and who some key contacts might be, and assure I have good ways of reaching out to those individuals. I have started building a workflow with other tools to automate opportunity identification and campaign initiation.

The info you need to reach your prospects!
What do you like best about the product?
No solution on the market can get you the contact information or the intent data that ZoomInfo can. Using ZI, I can find out how to reach my prospects and target them with relevant messaging (very often geared towards known competitor pain points)!

I find that very often, the organization maps and contact info is quite inaccurate. While ZoomInfo is a game changer, it cannot be used as a standalone intelligence tool and needs to be coupled with another solution, such as LISN.

Aside from the obvious use case around contact information that ZoomInfo provides, one of the most valuable tools within ZI is the intent data they can provide. We can measure intent on our website with our native tools but seeing that external or competitor intent data allows us to reach out at a time when the prospect is most interested!

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo's vast wealth of client information makes my prospecting experience so much easier, especially when it comes to hitting my daily dial goals in a way that makes sense and sets me up for success. My job would be infinitely more difficult without the tools of ZoomInfo.
What do you dislike about the product?
What comes with a wealth of valuable information is also a lot of crap: emails that bounce back, numbers that aren't in service, and incorrect company attributions. I was looking for technology executives at an IoT manufacturing company and found one tucked into a small online boutique with 2-10 employees that had a similar name, and even my fiance is listed as working at a storage facility instead of an insurance company with the same name. There's sooo much great information, but you have to be wary that you may not be getting the full/correct picture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its main use to me is by solving the problem of not having enough contact information for clients in order to prospect into potential client companies. This allows me to reach prospects who I wouldn't be able to reach before, or would have to solely rely on LinkedIn/guessing their email.
